Dr. Robert M Elliott

I would never go back to see him. He told me (last time I saw him, 12 yrs ago) that I had cancer and my insurance wouldn't pay for it, that I had to pay for it and it would be about $13,000. I don't trust him as a doctor what so ever

I hate writing negative reports and this is probably the very first one ever. Since about June of this year, I have been going to Dr. Elliot through the veterans choice program. When I first met him, I remember him telling me “thank you for your service… We’re going to take good care of you here.“ There were only a couple of times in my last 5-6 visits that he actually seemed to take the time to listen to me. Just last week, I went back in to ask about a prescription change as well as talk to him about my vertigo. After 45 minutes of waiting he came in, didn’t say hello, good afternoon, how are you doing,… He said That it looks like I have been taking more of my meds then I should and for that reason he can no longer see me. He explained he wrote a 90 day prescription for me but that the pharmac that it looks like I have been taking more of my meds then I should and for that reason he can no longer see me. He explained he wrote a 90 day prescription for me and because I was already out at 30 days then calculations show that I was taking three a day instead of one a day as prescribed. He also informed me that he just confirmed it with the pharmacy that I had a 90 day supply. I argued with him and told him I have the pill bottle outside and I will be getting it for his review. He maintained that this was the last time I will be seeing him. “… And it’s for that reason I can no longer see you!”. I brought the bottle in where he confirmed that it was only a 30 day supply that the pharmacist filled… And then he sent his girls out to give me a renewed prescription slip and tell me that I can go ahead and take it over the pharmacy and they will fill it. They were happy to send me on my way when I asked “where’s the doctor? I want to see him. He falsely accuse me of abusing my prescription… I need clarification on whether or not he still thinks I have.“ The girl left and returned about three minutes later telling me that he’s busy. I ended up walking out, frustrated That he wouldn’t give me the courtesy of apologizing for falsely accusing me. He also lied to me… I have friends at the pharmacy where I asked if they had heard from his office at all that day… They confirmed the that he wouldn’t give me the courtesy of apologizing for falsely accusing me. So he lied to me about confirming with the pharmacy that they filled a 90 day prescription that I had been abusing. Love him and the staff!

Great doctor. Very caring and personable. Helped my husband get into specialist in Tyler. Love a hometown doctor.

Compassionate caring staff. Always able to be seen on the spot with very little wait time. Dr. Elliott is a thorough doctor and able to diagnosis and treat me in a rapid manner.

The last 3 times I been there he wants me to go get a cat scan every time he won't even look at me so I don't recommend

Dr. Bob is very likable and is very knowledgeable. Always makes me feel important and my problems are diagnosed properly and efficiently.

Worst Doctor ever. Worst staff ever. They make you feel like you are a bother to them and make you wait to be seen even when there is nobody else there. Sometimes he doesn't even show up. Very unprofessional and very unfriendly. He tells you he doesn't have time to answer your questions and walks out mid sentence. Rude.

While the staff is friendly the wait time is over the top even when office isn't overflowing with people. And billing is a joke, have had several bills that are incorrect and when you have labs you are expected to pay another office visit to get your results. Over all I think it is just not a very professionally run office.
