You will not find a more loving, knowledgable, or caring pediatrician than Dr. Pitaro! We first met when I was about to deliver my first son via C-section. My OB called him in at the last minute, and in typical Dr. P style, he was happy to oblige....even though he was on vacation!!! That was sixteen years ago. He took care of my two boys like they were his own. I always felt Dr P was a blessing but never more than now. We moved out of state a couple of years ago and haven't yet been able to find a decent pediatrician. No one can compare! You know he's special when my amost 15 and 16 year old boys just start reminiscing about Dr. P during Sunday brunch; they have nothing but good memories and were talking about visiting him next time we are in NY. Dr P has been our pediatrician for the past 17 years. When I was a new mom he was helpful and supportive and never made you feel hysterical (even when you felt hysterical)! As the kids got older you felt like you were visiting friends at each check up or sick visit. I am so grateful for him and his staff and really hope he has no intentions of retiring anytime soon :)
