As a mother of a non verbal autistic child who has seen numerous doctors throughout the years for her many ailments, finding the right doctor is not always easy. My daughter has been Dr Friedman 's patient for more than 10 years . I am very happy with the care and professionalism that Dr Friedman and his staff has been showing us. He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to discuss our concerns and finds solutions to the problem. Five (5) stars are not enough. Wish there were more doctors out there like him. My name is Peter Chimenti and I am a 55yr old male. I had a duo collecting system which needed reconstructive surgery at 29 yrs of age. It was a pediatric problem that was never found in me as a child. Although my age, it was necessary for me to see a pediatric urologist. Dr Friedman treated me and shortly after surgery It was determined that I had testicular cancer. Dr Freidman handled both procedures and treated me for several years after. You could not ask for a more qualified or diligent Dr. I will Always consider myself part of the pediatric associates family and Dr Freidman not only as an incredible Dr but also my friend for life.

I'm seeing a lot of bad reviews on this doctor and it makes me wonder if he has just changed with age. In 1994 I was his patient, I was 4 and a half years old. I underwent reconstructive surgery on my left and right ureters. It was a successful surgery and 26 years later I'm healthy and Im alive. I'm grateful Dr Steven Friedman saved my life.

Nasty people very unpleasant! They hang up the phone on you! Very disappointed!

This doctor is horrible. He has no lack of experience and hasn’t poor judgment. The staff are really rude and they always give attitude to the patients. They aren’t professional either. I honestly don’t recommend any kids to this doctor.

Very horrible! He treated my cousin back in 2012, and did the surgery but the results showed that he has no lack of knowledge. We thought he was a professional children’s urologist but the outcome is that he’s a very careless person, him and his office staff have the lack the of diagnosis. My whole entire family is very disappointed, he destroyed my cousins life. I strongly recommend that new born babies shouldn’t go here for procedures or surgeries because you will be putting your child’s life in danger. This was all I had to say. Very horrible! Horrible practice and poor treatment of patients I want to raise a red flag about Dr. Steven Friedman at Pediatric Urology. The staff and office are extremely unprofessional, they made us wait an hour and a half to see the Dr ahead of my sons appointment and didn't indicate to us if the Dr was running late or what was happening. When we finally saw the Dr it was for no more than 5 minutes. He gave us a rehearsed speech about the circumcision procedure and treated my son like cattle. Once the procedure was done they asked me to breast feed him in a public waiting area but of course my son was too traumatized to take anything. After I requested to see the nurse, they took us back and quickly explained the post op treatment. We didn't see the doctor again after the procedure! Disgusting! Dr Friedman is wonderful. He is professional and caring. The reason I give his practice 3 stars is because he is making it impossible for us to keep him as our sons urologist. His office hours now end at 3:30, he is only in the office Tuesdays, Thursdays, and SOME Fridays, and the technician is gone by 2 on Fridays due to religious observances. My son has to see him every 6 mos and is in and out for no longer than 20 minutes. I don't think that warrants a whole day off from work and school. He should really be sensitive to, and try to accommodate the working parent and there should be more than one technician for people who need later appointments. Dr Friedman is wonderful. I would definitely recommend this practice and give 5 stars to the office staff. I accompanied my daughter and her almost 8 month old for a Friday afternoon appointment at 3:30. We called them because we were running 10 minutes late...no big deal. Upon arrival they could not have been nicer. So kind, accommodating and took us back right away. Dr Steven Friedman was so personable , answered our questions and we left feeling completely happy. Would most certainly recommend this doctor and so appreciate the kindness shown to us by his staff. staff very unpleasant and rude in Brooklyn office never got to meet the doctor will never recommend the secretary that answer the phone in the Brooklyn office must have been raised by animals then again what do you expect from $10 an hour job if she is unhappy with herself she shouldn't take it out on customers

Long story short my baby was never circumcised in the hospital and I was recommended here by my pediatrician (Dr Yu). I was really upset because of the whole sitaruion at the hospital, but after speaking to Maureen several times she really put me at ease. They also called me in sooner when the Dr had a cancelation. Even though I waited a while due to a emergency the Dr had to deal with I can’t really complain. The actual procedure went well. i was here with a child this dr. really doesn't know what he is doing the problem didn't change at all only that my child was in pain for 2 days went to another dr. and the problem was solved after one visit

Beyond disappointed and upset . For the chief of surgery he has no idea what he is doing . My biggest regret was ever coming here to do my sons surgery. Please go elsewhere and save yourself the stress. My sons issue is STILL not resolved after numerous visits.

Horrible experience. I spent 1.5 getting to the office and was 20 mins late with my 6yo child. As I walked it, the front desk person said that the dr will prob npt see us bc we r late. Then she goes to check and tells me to reschedule. Then I realise that without telling me they scheduled my apt with an RN, not the dr. They said that Friedman dont see patients with bed wetting. My daughter has a completely different problem. The staff was extremely rude and refused to have us seen.

recommend dr friedman!! He was confident in what he did, ams worked quixkly and had alot of patience!highly recommend!
