Ronald Shashy

I called his office to see how long it would take to get a patient copy of sleep lab tests. was told it would be over a month. In all fairness, I don't know if Dr. Shashy is proficient yet in treatment. His staff was very rude and condescending on the phone. Here are the standards for test results that seem common around the country: (So, for most sleep labs, the results are available within four to seven days and at the latest, two weeks in some sleep labs. So it’s somewhat variable, but usually within a week the sleep lab results are available to the patient and the doctor, the referring doctor.) I am not very pleased.

Patronizing, rushed thru the appointment. Misdiagnosed. Given wrong medications. Inept and pathetic. His poor care caused me a serious delay in finding adequate care. Might cost me my hearing in one ear.

He was over one hour delayed. His P.A. examined me, did all the tests, etc. He did not even look in my mouth, nose, or ears. He was unpleasant, unhelpful, and abrupt. His office did not follow up with information regarding an allergist and more. Because has multiple offices in different cities, he and his nurses are not available during regular weekly hours at any of the locations.

I was very impressed with Dr. R. Sasha and all the staff. They listen and work hard to resolve complex and baffling health concerns. The team is quick to set-up additional procedures /follow up appointments for quick results. This team is highly skilled employing evidence-based medicine to efficiently answer all my concerns.

I'm a nurse myself so I have been trained in care and expectation. This guy was rude, vulgar, and made you feel as if you were bothering him by being in his office. Rushed in and out. He wouldn't answer any questions.

Dr. Shashy is the rudest doctor I have ever had the misfortune to encounter. I told one of his staff members that I was uncomfortable because the patients in the waiting room and even one of the staff members were not wearing masks. She apparently told him, so he comes in to the exam room and says he isn’t comfortable treating a patient that is concerned about masks. He then goes on a tirade about how masks are just a bunch of nonsense and that they don’t do anything to prevent the spread of COVID. He wasn’t even wearing his mask correctly. I can’t speak to his competence as a doctor because I left before any treatment.

Arrogant and unpleasant.

Dr. Shashy is one of the all time worst physicians I have ever been to. During Covid; he didn't wear his mask until he came near me. He was only interested in what type of insurance I had. He literally didn't listen to anything I had to say and literally walked out the door when I was trying to speak with him. Worst physician ever. He should be ashamed of himself. Staff is friendly and competent.

He didn’t seem to care about tinnitus, and wanted me to do a sleep study and a psych evaluation. I feel like he blew me off , and probably talked more to me when I was leaving.

Dr. Shashy is thorough and able to make medical jargon easily understood. He has literally left no stone unturned to ensure my wellbeing im regards to my sleep patterns. I couldn’t recommend him more highly.

Dr.Shashy is very personable. He did my tonsillectomy and also took care of me when I had a post op bleed on day 13 (very RARE) He was so sweet and actually slept in the room down the hall from me that night after my emergency bleed in case I needed him. that is DEDICATION

Dr Shashy is a great Dr I have been very satisfied with the treatment he has provided me with. I would highly recommend him .

Awesome doctor! I have been a patient for several years. He has treated me for sinus infection, suspicious lesions and throat infections. Waiting time is a little longer but he always spends a lot of time with me!! He thoroughly explains things to me. His staff is always friendly and gives me an appointment in a timely manner. I would highly recommend him.

He is a wonderful knowledgeable doctor. He was able to access and provide care quickly.

Professional and to the point, Dr. Shashy answered all of my questions and took care of the problem.

I initially brought my son with special needs to Dr. Shashy. He was quickly referred to a pediatric ENT at UK who got right on the problem and scheduled surgery. I then personally saw Dr. Shashy for my own issues. He explained things well, and gave me a referral for physical therapy. He can be quite to-the-point, but I would expect no less from a military vet. Thank you for your service, Dr. Shashy ... both in the military and in the medical field!

Great Dr., makes sure I understand my care. Dr. Shashy has been wonderful to work with and I highly recommend him.

Dr. Shashy spent more than enough time with me. He explained everything thoroughly. The staff was super friendly. Highly recommend him.

I am very disappointed w/ Dr Shashy. Appt was 10 am. I waited for 1-1/2 hrs. I told him I had multiple concerns.He wanted to know main reason for visit, Audiologist referred me out of concern for tinnitus. He gave long explanation on tinnitus & if I had other problems he might explore more, I told him I do have other problems, he did not want to hear my other concerns, and left. He spent at most 15 min w/me listening to himself talk! What a waste of time & money! Very disappointing!

I went to 2 different ents before seeing Dr. Shashy. He was great with me! My septoplasty was a comp!eye success and I found him. very professional and easy to talk to. I recommend him highly.

Excellent results from my recent septoplasty. Dr. Shashy’s credentials are outstanding, and well-matched by his service and professionalism.

My daughter is currently a patient of Dr. Shashy and she absolutely loves him. After going through 3 different ENT doctors we finally found Dr. Shashy and so glad we did. He explains everything to us and take time and we don't feel rushed at his office. We saw Dr. Shashy for the first time on a Thursday and given my daughter's history of ear infections he said she needed surgery and my daughter was in surgery the following Monday. His staff is so nice as well!
