Dr. Travis Hunt

I have found Dr. Hunt to be a very caring, conscientious provider. He has never been rude or condescending. He listens to my concerns and answers my questions, if he feels he does not have the answer he refers me to someone who does. I highly admire Dr. Hunt and his professionalism.

I went to Dr. Hunt for problems I was having with my back. I was impressed at first because he found an issue with my X-rays immediately and said he could fix it. He ended up doing a spinal decompression and fusion, and six months later, he had to go in and do a revision. Each time he operated on me, my pain ended up getting worse and not better. After the second unsuccessful surgery, I decided to see another surgeon and get a second opinion. When he found out that I had been to see someone else, he took offense to it and ended our relationship right then and there. I realize there are always risks with any surgery, so I don't want to go so far as to say that he doesn't know what he's doing, but I will suffice to say this: If you are looking for someone who cares about you and is willing to listen to your concerns, THIS IS NOT YOUR MAN! He spends every bit of maybe two minutes with you, and if you have concerns, he just ignores them and makes you feel like you're overreacting!!

The service we received at Georgetown BGO was excellent. It is nice when you have an appointment and you actually are seen at your scheduled time. A big shout out to receptionist Crystal Taylor. I believe she went out of her way to help us. She worked to get us in to see doctor asap and answered any questions we had and did it in a professional matter. Dr Hunt and his staff are very cordial and respectful. Dr. Hunt is a very knowledgeable surgeon. He is getting ready to do major surgery on my back. God bless him.

I was not expecting or wanting back surgery but Dr Hunt walked me through a “close to being crippled” experience. He and his team gave me my life back. My experience with these folks was comforting, extremely helpful and as good as I believe it could have been. I totally recommend this team.

Dr. Hunt Is amazing. He genuinely cares about his patients and their well-being. Truly. He and his staff were my biggest cheerleaders while recovering from a total knee replacement. I cannot thank him enough for giving me a new lease on life.

Quick to diagnose without listening. Typically I look for friendly introduction and caring conversation and I did not receive that.

I wasn’t happy with my visits at Dr. Hunts office at all. I had x-rays taken of my back and pelvic. I later was told I needed to get MRIs also. $800 later, I was seeing Dr. Hunt who talk to me about the results for about three or four minutes. When you’re out that much money you want as much information and time from your doctor as he can allow. His personality was very short and cold. Staff is very cordial. Mike Jones and Dr. Hunt are very friendly and knowledgeable. They are willing to take the time to explain things to you.

Efficient office staff who got us in the same day for an urgent appointment, and Dr. Hunt was knowledgeable and kind to our daughter who had a broken bone in her foot. I would highly recommend Dr. Travis Hunt.

The group of people headed by Dr. Travis Hunt have been nothing but great throughout my history of spinal problems. Care and concerns have gotten prompt attention and results met to the utmost. My condition is an ongoing medical problem and they have assured me they can will be there for me.

Dr. Hunt takes his time to explain everything to you. He is very caring and is a absolutely wonderful surgeon. He replaced my hip and I had minimal pain and recovered very well. Dr Hunt and staff were wonderful and did a great job.

Dr. Hunt performed surgery on my ankle back in October. This was my last follow up visit. As with all my visits he took all the time I needed and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. I would recommend Dr. Hunt to anyone.

Dr. Hunt answered thoroughly answered my questions and concerns. He gave me several options and explained the possibilities from physical therapy to surgery. He listened to what I had to say and was very knowledgeable.

I would not recommend Dr. Hunt to anyone. He never examined me nor took the time to talk to me about what was wrong with my back. All he did was refer me to a pain specialist. In and out of the room 5 minutes flat. The office staff was not nice either, more like a "car" lot atmosphere.

Dr Hunt has provided excellent care for my mom. He’s engaged with his patients, very communicative, and has provided answers to our questions. His office staff is friendly and efficient - very accommodating. I would definitely recommend him to family and friends...

My experience at BGO Hamburg was positive. I did not have to wait long. Dr. Hunt was very personable and took the time to listen, which made me feel like a person and not a number.

Dr. Hunt is amazing. After living in pain from previous failed back surgeries he was able to take away the majority of my pain. He always had my best interest in mind when deciding on best route of treatment

Dr. Hunt and his entire team from the office to surgery room are the most efficient and trustworthy team. I was very scared given the news of my 1st. surgery. I can't say enough about these fine people. Thank You for the complete care you give me. God Bless

Had back surgery, did a great job. Laid out all options and let me decide what I wanted to do. My sister (an RN) an brother in law travels 130 miles to see him also.

Dr. Hunt doesn't have a lot to say but when you ask a question he answers it fully. I really liked his confidence that he could help me the first time I met him. Dr. Hunt saw me at the Hamburg office.

Just a great Doctor, I was in so much pain before my surgery. Now I don't have pain. A Dr. or staff don't really matter to me, but I can say he is the best on back surgery because it fixed me.

My experience was great. I was very impressed with the office staff. Very pleasant folks and seemed genuinely concerned for me. Dr Hunt was great and very easy to talk to. Being a law enforcement officer I had special concerns in my return to full duty. Dr Hunt and I discussed those concerns at length. His PAs were also great. I've been going here for years. I've been seen for my ankle, knee and shoulder. He has done MRI's on everything and ordered xrays when needed. He has always been so thorough and helpful. I currently have another knee injury and the E.r wanted to refer me elsewhere. I will not go anywhere else. He had no issues with signing forms for when in was in high school to get out of gym class until healed.

Waited for 1 hour and 10 mins. For him to spend a total of 5 mins. with me. Will not be back.

I have had a few surgeries, and Dr. Hunt is very caring and compassionate. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel relaxed. Dr. Hunt has always offered other solutions to surgery and surgery was a last resort. I highly recommend Mr. Travis Hunt. He is very knowledgeable and makes sure that you understand all options. The P.A's are also very knowledgeable and friendly as well. They are highly recommended. I have been seeing Dr. Hunt for my medical conditions for the last five years.
