Rosa I Mateo

Dr. Mateo has shown a very good bedside manor and has been thorough in explaining her thoughts and ideas on a number of occasions. She does have limited availability because she has so many patients. That is an unfortunate effect of the modern medical industry. To my understanding she does only have one day a week to see patients at her office. That is because the other working days of the week she is at the hospital. Anyway, I am sorry to see a couple bad reviews because I recommend her and have had good experience with her.

Dr MATEO is Amazing and has changed my life for the better. Yes she is very thorough and straight forward but that makes her an amazing dr. I am soo happy I found her and that she agreed to be my dr. Thank You.

Excellent Physician! She was thorough and asked me a ton of questions about my current and past health. What I found was the most profound is she didn't rush me through the appointment like most doctors do today, but treated all of me, mentally and physically, not just the current issue. I am very lucky to have found her in this small town and will continue to go to her practice when needed. The office was clean and staff friendly and the appointment was scheduled quickly.

I took my significant other to Dr.Rosa Mateo because he was diagnosed with chronic lymes disease. She is not patient friendly at all. Even though we are married, she would not allow me back in the room with my husband as she did not recognize same sex partners. She literally just said "theres nothing we can do besides order you to be put on an antibiotic for 30 days." Within that thirty days we had so many questions and we were not able to reach her AT ALL, and after numerous attempts she never even returned our calls. Her office is only open on Thursdays, and she goes out of the country constantly without letting her patients know, as she did with us. She went to South America for a month and did not even tell us or give us advice on who to contact or what to do after the antibiotic, as it is a life long disease.
