Procedure was completed at Surgery Center. Did not ever visit the office. Dr. Meyers made my visit far more pleasant than my prior visit with a different doctor at a different facility seven years ago. Thank you.

I am a 57 year old man, and I had a follow up visit with Dr. Shah today. The appointment was scheduled for 3:40 p.m., which I was a little early. The receptionist ask me the usual questions, and told me it would be a co pay of 35.00. It was a follow up visit so I did not realize there would be another co pay. I stated that they would have to bill me, and the blonde hair lady with glasses said I would have to rescheduled. They made me another appointment for June 3rd. My questions are as follows: 1.) When did your health become all about money. 2.) What was my Dr. Going to tell me. What if I am receiving bad news, and I did not get to see him for a 35.00 Co pay. 3.) What if I had traveled 2 or 3 hours, instead of 12 miles only to get sent back home. I have Anthem Blue Cross, and Blue Shield federal insurance. I have always paid my co pays. I will not be back, and I will cancel my next appointment. This is not the only Doctors in the area. Sad it came down to a 35.00 Co pay. Money is more important than your health here at this place. I’ve gone to Dr. Myers for 3 procedures over the years. He is very knowledgeable and takes a strong personal interest in his patients. Highly recommended.
