Went for the first time to a urologist and was scheduled with Dr. Phatak. Very professional and more importantly extremely knowledgeable on what I was there for. He also took the the time to listen to how I felt and what my concerns were. Can’t say enough about him with just only one visit. ???????? god bless. Thank you.

I can't speak to the professionalism or manner of the doctor because his office has cancelled and rescheduled my appointment 4 times before I could even have an initial visit. Very unprofessional and disrespectful of a person's time and concern for their personal health.

DR. Phatak safe my life he is the best.. I had a rare kidney disease and he did everything possible to save my kidney unfortunately the disease i had was hereditary.

He is a very bad doctor he heard this patient he lie about his submit fraud bill to insurance company I want to hear feel like he’s going to get cut on about the wrong things you do you touch and clients medical records Change the medical record he do that to me he did the wrong surgery have me for money he’s a criminal thief

Dr. Phatak was extremely professional while dealing with me and my situation. His demeanor made me confident and put me at ease going into surgery. The office staff were great too.

Dealt with Dr. Phatak in 2013 and his care was excellent when he was at his Striats Turnpike office. Since move, office staff rude and dishonest. I called for an appointment with Dr. Phatak not an APRN. When operator informed that the scheduled appt was too far in advance I informed her I would call another urologist because with my history of stones I couldn't wat. I was called back after 15 min saying they had a cancellation and could get me in that day. Went and only saw APRN. Asked if Dr. Phatak would be in and APRN was rude stating we can reschedule if I want to see Dr. This is after they charged my insurance for the visit. No exam no questions about symptoms not even glanced at filled out paperwork. I Still have to wait to schedule a procedure as scheduler had day off. When I tried to explain the dishonest communication from operator I again was greeted with rudeness. If you have an option stay with the original group on Straits Turnpike in Middlebury, CT.

My mom treated with Dr. Phatak; he was absolutely wonderful with her. She could sometimes be a difficult patient, but he listened to her, appreciated and enjoyed her personality, and generally treated her with care, respect, and a sense of humor. I was incredibly impressed with his ability to "read" a patient, as well as his medical skills in addressing her problem as best he could. After my mom passed away (nothing related to urology), he sent a lovely hand-written note of condolence which I appreciated more than I can say. I highly recommend him to anyone in that area who needs a urologist for themselves or a loved one.

I am very disappointed in Dr. Phatak's office in their care of my husband. It took five messages to a nurse in over a week's time to finally get a return phone call. Last week when my husband had a bad reaction to his medication and needed to stop it, i left a detailed message with one of his nurses. We still have have not received a returned call. Luckily my ill husband has me for an advocate. I worry about all those senior patients who are not receiving proper care and have no one to advocate for them. We have already made an appointment with another practice.

He’s a very good communicator, explains conditions well in person. Easy to work with. Very warm person. The office is terrible, they never return calls.

Excellent doctor and staff. Professional doctor and great follow-up. Saw at both Middlebury office & St. Mary's office. Highly recommend.
