Dr. Nahas seems very knowledgeable and has a very warm manner. All the staff was very friendly and professional. My only complaint was the wait time which I thought was quite excessive.

It’s always scary when you have a problem with your body. Especially when it involves surgery or the word “cancer”. Dr Nahas was so caring and explained everything so well. I felt at ease to be in her care. I had a rare cyst removed and my left ovaries. In my case I could have went into surgery and had a full hysterectomy or at the least my left side ovaries gone. Dr Nahas explained all the scenarios to me that could happen during surgery so I knew before going in and was well informed. My surgery was in October 2021. I had 3 incisions. My scares are so small, healed beautifully and I feel great. I can’t explain how grateful I am to Dr Nahas. If you have any women problems she really is amazing. I don’t usually write reviews but when I was referred to her I was scared and did look her up and read other peoples reviews. It did help me hopefully it will help you.

She and her student was straight forward understood the problem, explained how the solution was to be taken care of. I know who she was and what she's going to be doing. I have read her papers I am certain her and her team be able to take care of this finally. Hopefully this may be a blessing to many other women in some way. Amen

I was fortunate to have Dr Samar Nahas do my surgery in 2014 at Credit Valley Hospital, Canada. My prognosis looked poor on the CT scan and this amazing doctor comforted me all the way from the pre-op waiting room to the actual operating room table. She was extremely compassionate in my follow up appointment. She is skilled, caring, dedicated, and meticulous. She is a fantastic surgeon and a kind, warm, sympathetic human being.

Dr. Samar Nahas really an amazing and caring doctor. The staff at the UCR Women's Health are also very helpful and friendly in regards with scheduling an appointment as a new patient and for my surgery date. I had laparoscopic hysterectomy last September 14. Dr. Nahas visited me at the pre-op room while the nurses are preparing me for my surgery, she make sure that I am not feeling nervous and she assured me that she'll take care of me. I can feel her sincerity and care for her patient while she's holding my hands. Everything went well after the surgery. I don't have bleeding, I only took Acetaminophen and Ibuprofen for pain relief. She also prescribed me medicine for nausea and constipation which really help for my recovery. I am now on my 3rd week post surgery and feeling better everyday. Thank you Dr. Samar Nahas and to all staff of UCR Women's Health!!

Dr. Nahas is very kind, compassionate and professional. I had some precancerous tissue that needed to be removed for pathology review. Dr. Nahas was able to do the procedure in her exam room. She was precise in her cuts and stitching and did the procedure quickly to minimize discomfort. I'm so glad I chose her for the treatment of this issue.

She amazing and has a excellent beside manner. She’s extremely knowledgeable. Dealing with cancer is difficult but she makes it easier with her care and compassion. She gave me hope and answered all of my questions. I was provided with other alternatives that have made my life so much better. I love Dr. Nahas!

Dr. Nahas is truly an exceptional doctor. Her recommendation of a total hysterectomy saved me from future complications and quite possibly my life. She found early cancer which was not previously picked up on tests. Because it was so early I did not need chemotherapy. As a precautionary measure, she will be performing genetic testing at my next appointment. I trust her completely and so grateful my obgyn referred me to her.

Dr. Nahas was always professional and I felt she was very knowledgable about my condition. She made me feel hope in a very scary time in my life. When she said this is going to be all right I believed her. I also liked her team that worked with her. They seemed so coordinated working together and keeping her students in the loop explaining things as they did them. The hospital staff also spoke of her with respect. I feel it takes time and investing in people for a group to work so well together. I feel so fortunate to have Dr Nahas as my doctor.

I agree with all of the positive comments about Dr. Nahas. I was diagnosed with uterine cancer in March of 2018 and Dr. Nahas took exceptional care of me. She was extremely compassionate, answered all my question, and contributed significantly to my peace of mind. I had a smooth and speedy recovery with no complications after surgery. She is a great surgeon and a wonderful person. Thank you, Dr. Nahas!

I had a Hysterectomy. Dr Nahas is an amazing surgeon and a beautiful person.

I feel Very blessed to have been referred to Dr. Nahas. I am very high anxiety/OCD and she is very compassionate and kind. This was even more important to me than her ability as a surgeon. She ended up being fantastic with my full hysterectomy as well. I took Ibuprofen and Tylenol after and my friends who have had the same procedure could not believe that I was up and walking within a few hours. I can't say enough about her. I have thanked God for her many times since.

My experience with Dr. Nahas was in her previous position at Credit Valley hospital in Canada. I have never stopped telling people how wonderful she was. I had a complicated surgical history, and I was 63 years old at the time of my surgery. Regardless of these circumstances, I was home the same day, had so little pain that I didn't even take a Tylenol, and was back at work in under a week. I will be forever grateful to her.
