Mrs. Samina M. Yousufi

I've had the same meds regimen for many years, it has worked well, and took a long time to get it right. Dr. Yousefi has to change anxiety meds because she said I'm elderly, with disdain. I'm set back years and anxiety is unchecked now, after her changes. She didn't even tell me she prescribed less each month.

I made a tele Appointment, I left my job came home to attend the appointment, when I called on appointment day I was told that I do not have an appointment, so I rescheduled appointment, again appointment day I did not receive any email , after 15 minutes of the appointment when I called the office, the lady who answer the phone was not helping and unprofessional, asked me to reschedule, I believe they are not worth of giving even one star. This "mental health professional " was mad I wouldn't let her be my doctor she tried to change my medicine and I wasn't there to see her for medication she gave me problems with medication I was stable on for at least 6 yrs. RUN

I requested the controlled substance prescription refill on Thursday. It's Sunday and the pharmacy still have not received the prescription. I was supposed to go on vocation, and had to cancel the plan because I did not have enough medicine to last through vocation. In other words, lack of office responsibility for the prescription RUINED by well-earned vocation. The office staff has been very rude and asked for a copay when I met the max. out of pocket for a year.

I've seen Dr. Yousufi for several issues (depression, anxiety, adult ADHD). She is extremely kind, concerned and professional, she remembers me and my history easily even when I haven't been in for a year. In addition she is brilliant when it comes to medications, I have chronic pain and have struggled with finding the right prescriptions and she has given me her opinion on my medications and possible interactions that none of my other doctors have brought up. Highly recommend.

I have been seeing Dr. Yousufi for med therapy for a long time now. I also saw two talk therapists there as well. The doctors are very busy and dedicated, the staff, busy and friendly. (you know what, a smile to someone, gets a smile back!) This office has helped me a very grave case of depression and I am forever grateful.

She bounces between the Gaithersburg Office and Frederick. Twice she has cancelled my appointment the day before and I was unable to get another appointment with her for weeks, which cause my medications to be all off schedule. Greenridge Behavioral Health has an online portal that is supposed to be used for patients to request prescription refills, but the system rarely works and when it does the data is incorrect. The receptionist told me that this online system has never worked properly.
