This Dr doesn't remember past history (despite taking up two sessions on past history), doesn't have adequate notes from previous sessions and only has one tool to provide brain injury patients that are experiencing emotional challenges. She seemed defensive, frustrated and incurious if I needed more information about the tool. There is a disconnect between what a patient needs (maybe more than one tool) and what she provided. She isn't empathetic but can provide 'professional sympathy' which doesn't feel genuine. I gave her two stars as she may only be allowed in this setting to provide one tool and in private practice she may be able to be more flexible and provide more help.

Is more interested in defending the tool she uses than in where the patient is or meeting them where they are at. She didn't remember key information about me from visit to visit. When I told her I was having emotional trouble with the tool she told me I might not be ready for therapy yet, to try again when I'm better - which is a curious approach to therapy. I ended the sessions, feeling frustrated, upset, unseen and questioning myself. This approach may be the right fit for you, but it wasn't for me.

Really she is a best and a excellent doctor she is very helpful
