Dr. Sarah Bernice Schmitz-Burns

I established care with Schmitz-Burns during my pregnancy. I quickly felt like a number, not a patient. My questions were dismissed or judged and she also spoke negatively about other doctors. I was extremely put off but, fortunately, switched my care. This was several years ago and based on the positive reviews it sounds like her bedside manner has improved. I’m not sure what compelled me to write this today but the way I was treated has stuck with me all these years.

Dr. Schmitz is kind, intelligent and committed. She remembers details about me and my kids. I’m so grateful to have her as part of my journey.

Great OB!! Had her through 2 of 3 pregnancies, and she was on call to deliver my 3rd. Very personable, takes time with you, and treats you like a person and remembers what you tell her (not just one more patient for whom she has to review the file.). 2 other friends used her at my recommendation for their pregnancies, one of whose life she very likely saved with quick judgment for an emergency c-section and surgery for a very rare complication. Fantastic doctor and also staff!

Dr. Schmitz is my top doc. She is likeable, smart, thoughtful, patient and I trust her with my life.
