Run in the opposite direction from this doctor. I came to Dr. Scott and she and her scalpel spent 10 minutes with me and left me with a wound on my breast I had to dress for a month, a bill for $300, no clue as to how it happened, and when it finally healed my problem was still there. I mentioned my problem to my esthetician, who is very skilled, took care of it in one visit, and it is still clear over a year later. This dr saw my sister in law and had a terrible experience. Waiting an hour to see dr the doctor came in fast and just quickly saw her hands, was informed of what medications she was taken and etc. Didn't ask questions of how long she's had this, when did it start, what she's been eating.....nothing. when ask what kind of eczema she has the doctor responded generally "its eczema and it won't ever go away. It's in your blood". There was no support, no recommendations and no relief or comfort. She felt ignored, rushed and unsatisfied. She was expecting a specialist to take time and express concern and take interest into helping her patients. And to make matters worse the medication Dr Scott sent was the same ointment shes been taking for a month given to her by her primary doctor. What kind of doctor gives the same medication? I have found Dr Scott to be friendly, knowledgeable, straight-forward, and helpful. She has been my derm for years and has guided me through a number of issues.

After suffering from an unusual rash outbreak, I set an appointment with Dr.Scott for medical advice. After waiting for over an hour at the clinic, she came in and looked at my skin condition for 2 minutes, before solely offering a steroid injection (which is only a temporary bandage to the bigger problem). She was dismissive of the idea of a skin biopsy and seemed eager to leave. The following week I made another appointment as my rash came back worse, and got a call from her nurse 20 minutes before my appointment, informing me she does not work much with biological skin disorders; offering to reschedule me with another dermatologist. I don’t believe she is knowledgable in her field and I wouldn’t recommend / trust this doctor (or clinic) to anyone.

Awful experience. First, I got sent to the wrong location when I booked my appointment. They told me to drive from Junius to the North Dallas location and they would see me. Once I got to the new location, I checked in and waited... and waited... and waited... Eventually got sent to an exam room, where I waited another 45 minutes. I asked several times what was going on and kept being told dismissively that the doctor would be there "soon". When she finally showed up I had a three minute appointment. THREE MINUTES. What should have been a 30 min doctor's appointment turned into a two hour ordeal of mostly waiting and dealing with unconcerned staff... I'm not usually picky about customer service, but I would not recommend this to anyone, they clearly do not care at all. Awful experience. STAFF WAS INDIFFERENT The office staff at Dallas Associated Dermatologists is really terrible. Just try calling them yourself if you don't want to take my word for it. They're evasive when you ask almost any kind of question -even the simple stuff, and it really made me loose trust and faith in them. I need a doctor that I can trust! All they do is make appointments and they don't a bit care if you decide to go somewhere else. I got my appointment but kept looking around so i cancelled later.

Dr. Scott is amazing. She is knowledgeable, very bright, thorough, and very kind.

I would never go back here. I saw a nurse that I gave my whole story to and she left and never came back so that was weird, but not as weird as the doctor. She was shaking the whole time. She kept closing her eyes and stuttering while she was talking to me. She talked me through how to swallow a pill (something I've known how to do for quite a while). I told her that I have consistently had bad reactions to Accutane and Retin A but was willing to try anything else and she suggested I do Accutane again. I get that Accutane is the best out there. I've suffered through the misery twice and if I thought I could do it again with the headaches, dehydration, stomach problems, and monthly appointments/blood work I totally would. (As a side note I have very mild acne so not sure why Accutane needs to be the first resort). Only good point was that the reception desk ran perfectly. It was quick and efficient the way I like it, but unfortunately that same drive to get people in and out applied to the doctor also. If you are looking for intimate care for your skin issues try somewhere else or someone other than Sarah Scott here. I would never go back here.
