Excellent doctor, very caring, gentle, and compassionate. Thankful I switched to him a year ago. Shots in both eyes are pain free under his care. Staff is great And always friendly. Never any long waits upon arrival. I feel like I’m in excellent hands, and my eye sight is monitored carefully. Highly recommend.

Took my mom there for the first time and Dr Scott Pautler was awesome!! Great staff and very professional.

I highly recommend Dr Pautler and the entire staff at Retina Vitreous Assoc. When one needs the services of a retina specialist you can be very anxious. The moment you walk into the practice you are greeted in a warm, friendly professional manner and your anxiety diminishes. The tech staff are outstanding. Each and every person I have ever encountered has been professional, friendly and efficient. They are genuinely interested in your well being. I have never been to a medical practice where 100% of the staff are the very best at what they do. Dr Pautler answers my questions patiently and fully. I trust him without doubt. Lastly, you are seen at your appointed time which here in Florida in my experience has never happened at any other medical practice. They are respectful of your time. Do not go to Dr Pautler; I am a licensed clinical medical social worker. The drops that he uses for dilation are too strong; I am still dilated after 5 days!! I called into the office to speak to Paulter MD twice during the week and he did not call me back. I was not given informed consent regarding the risk of dilation. But when I talked to his assistant, he immediately told me that people with light colored eyes could be dilated for 48 hours; I was never told this. If people with light colored eyes stay dilated longer, why don't they use less dilation solution? Why don't they use a solution that's not as strong? Why don't they warn them?  All good questions but I was unable to speak to the doctor to ask him. The ongoing dilation has interfered with my ability to drive especially at night, my ability to work, my ability to socialize normally but I was not informed of the risks. You have choices about which doctor you go to; don't go to Scott Pautler MD. Kevin

After having 3 retina detachments many years ago, I highly recommend Dr. Pautler for any retina issues you may have. He takes the time to explain all treatment options and procedures, during what can be a very stressful situation. The staff is also very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They are punctual and do not keep you in the waiting room for long, which cannot be said for many physicians. I would give them 10 stars, if I could! You can not do better than Dr Paulter and his staff for retina care. Professional, caring, thorough. Office is always clean and orderly.l have been a patient for MANY years and have never been disappointed with my care.

Everyone at the office is so wonderful. Very professional and knowledgeable. They treated me just like family. I highly recommend Dr Pautler. I will not go anywhere else.

Excellent physician. Uses cutting edge technology to diagnose retina conditions and gives clear explanations of treatment options. At no point did I feel rushed.

Not compassionate!! Make sure you find a DR who gives you hope and encouragement instead of one that gives you worse case scenario and kicks you when your down. Make sure you get other opinions and there is always always hope!!

Unfortunately when I went for an X-ray at the end of the appointment, the tech had a table that malfunctioned. It squeezed my thigh and felt like I was in a vice! I hope she asked coming to look at it. Also hope there is no bruise!

This practice and Dr. Pautler in particular came highly recommended by my opthalmologist, and I was not disappointed. The front office as well as the clinical staff were friendly and professional. The vision evaluation and imaging technology used in the office were above and beyond anything I have experienced in my other retina/vitreous doctors' offices. This office was Top Notch from the beginning to the end! The receptionist was welcoming in a sincere manner. The technician who did dilation and basic vision tests was technically proficient and put me into a calm state. I had other tests including OCT and fundus photography, which were all done with ease. Dr. Pautler had a very direct, no nonsense attitude, but coupled with that was his willingness to discuss implications of a new diagnosis that was uncovered. Dr Pautler is proficient in his area of medicine and is very interested in his patient's care and well being. He's patient and thorough in his profession and very professional. His staff is caring and thorough when dealing with you. They are kind, patient and occasionally are funny (great since of humor) and are very professional and knowledgeable in their areas of specialty. He and his entire staff are absolutely top-notch! They are consistently very timely and thorough in examining my issue and carefully explaining everything they are doing. I had a retinal vein occlusion and lost 2/3 of the vision in my right eye. Dr Paulter saved my vision by diagnosing it immediately and treated it with Eylea and now I can see out of it . Very kind, very professional and the very best at what he does as is his staff.
