Dr. Severin M Pouly

I am very disappointed in the outcome of my visit/visits with this doctor/facility. My first visit was Dec. 2021. and was told to not wear my contact lenses for 2 weeks and to come back until the 27th of December. On that day, I was tested by several different techs who were suppose to be preparing me for the removal of a small cataract. (Rk surgery eyes) Surgery was scheduled for Jan, 2022. ONE DAY before my surgery, a technician called and asked me if I could come in and do some more test. WHAT?? My schedule wouldn't permit so the Doctor gets on the phone and cancels my surgery. They call later that day and set another appointment for Jan. 20, 2022. Now, I've gone all of this time with no contacts, no back up glasses that I can see out of. I'm getting agitated. After some thought, I called the office to see if I could see another doctor because I'm feeling anxious about the whole situation. I requested to see another doctor. These people do not return calls. I won't be going back.

Dr Pouly is a excellent Dr. He removed a Cyst from my eye and it didn't leave a scar . He took time to answer any questions that I had. I couldn't have a better experience. Thank you Dr Pouly and staff. My sister is being treated by him now and is very pleased with him.

I am a 47 year old male who has worn glasses since the third grade. I sought out the best doctor I could to do my elective PRK Laser surgery. My vision has always been terrible and even with glasses I was only correctable to 20/30 if I was squinting. I now have 20/25 vision, better than I have ever seen in my entire life, and it’s noticeable as its my entire field of view rather than just looking through a glass lens. The experience from start to finish with Dr. Pouly was better than my expectations. Dr. Pouly spent a great deal of time explaining everything to me from the beginning of this venture through the end so I didn’t have any surprises. I highly recommend a consultation with Dr. Pouly if you are considering corrective laser surgery as my experience has been life changing and I can’t say enough about how this doctor handled the entire experience.

Dr. Pouly did PRK surgery on my eyes. He took time to explain the procedure and any concerns I may have. He followed up quickly with any questions or concerns I had about post-op.

Dr. Pouly is an extremely knowledgeable and skilled ophthalmologist who performed PRK on my eyes over a year ago. Prior to, I researched several physicians in the area who specialize in this type of procedure and chose Dr. Pouly based on qualifications and recommendations. He spent much time at each appointment (pre- and post-surgery) to answer questions, and I never once felt rushed. My results have been amazing, and I wish I had made the decision for vision correction surgery sooner.

It was a huge benefit to see my actual surgeon for pre op and post op visits instead of an optometrist. That is uncommon in today's world.
