Dr. Sharon Lee Reid

I have never been so happy with a dentist and staff in my life. I’ve been through the mill with dental work all my life, but for the first time, I feel like I have a team of people on my side. I had three crowns done today, and even after the numbing wore off, I was in almost no pain. Sharon truly cares about her patients, and she’s phenomenal at being meticulous with everything she does. Her assistants Lisa and Brittany are beyond skilled, and couldn’t be nicer. I was cold at one point, and Brittany grabbed a blanket and even offered to cover my toes to make sure I was comfortable. Dawn, the receptionist, is beyond. She always answers the phone, addresses any questions you might have, and files insurance and FSA claims on the spot. I cannot stress the level of skill and comfort this team provides. They have changed my life. Thank you so much!

After my beloved dentist of 25 years retired, I went in search for a new dentist. My search proved to be exhaustive, expensive , concerning, and disappointing. UNTIL..........I noticed my neighbor's amazing new smile and inquired. He and his wife were very pleased with the work of Dr. Tyler Wynne in Clemmons. His wife knew I was very disappointed with my last 6 month cleaning at the dental office I had been going to, and she had very positive things to say about Teresa, the hygienist at Dr. Wynne's office. I made my appointment and was hopeful. Dawn did as she promised and called me when there was a cancellation. I was very pleased and felt confident on my very first visit. The entire staff is very friendly, professional and competent. My first appointment with Teresa, the Hygienist, did not disappoint, as she was very thorough. Dr. Wynne is very engaging, talented, and professional. I had to have a crown, so it was not long before Lisa and Megan were assisting Dr. Wynne with that....and I found both of them to be very friendly, professional, and competent. I have found my new Dental office.....finally!!! I had an accident over a holiday weekend and called in a panic, leaving a message, as they were closed. Dr. Wynne called me back within 20 minutes and met me in the office within hours. I am so grateful for his dedication, as well as the magnificent work he did to restore my front tooth before the holiday. I recommend this group.....highly. I take responsibility for my teeth issues, but due to financial issues, I had to put my dental care on the back burner, as I had no pain. No pain no problems. I was wrong. They got me in quickly, but after I was seen I felt judged. If I had money, I would have done differently. KEEP YOUR JUDGMENTS TO YOURSELF. ALSO, they sent me home with no antibiotics, no pain meds, and referred me to a specialist to get a plan started, outside of my network, that want money upfront. Had to call back to get a antibiotic that should have been prescribed to start with. I will not go back. Superb. An emergency crown was efficient and painless. Very friendly and caring group.

Worth it for me to drive all the way out from Raleigh to get my mercury amalgams removed/replaced as Dr. Reid is IAOMT certified and SMART certified. And I could tell that they were taking all the precautions. She made sure to be attentive during the whole process and this was reflected by her staff as well.

Dr. Reid is a great dentist! She has done lots if work on me and i have not had any problems! Her staff are meticulous in their duties and are wonderful people as well! Overall a well run, to the point office!! ????☺

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Reid and her staff since we moved to Clemmons 4 years ago. My 92 year old mother is now a patient there as well. The three of us appreciate the friendly and caring skills of each of the staff: Drs. Reid and Wynne, Dawn at the front desk, the dental hygienists and dental assistants. Our comfort and safety during all of our procedures (Lidocaine injections, crowns, replacing cracked mercury fillings, cleanings, and X-rays) are paramount to the staff. They explain everything they are doing and consistently check on our well-being. They take great care to make crowns look and feel like natural teeth. They have the capability of either making CEREC, one-visit crowns, where the tooth impression is taken digitally or sending them off to the lab. All options, with pros and cons, are always discussed with us. We are very happy patients and have referred this dental office to our friends and family. We highly recommend this practice! i went to Dr. Reid I believe in 2012, I decided to leave a review now as I am going back to the dentist to pick up where we left off. I was so traumatized by the pain I quit going to the dentist. Period. I went to an integrative Dr. that expressed the same kind of pain I experienced, and a woman that did my colonics that also said she had the worse pain in her life after going to Dr. Reid. She had what appeared to be a great personality, and I liked her staff, but the pain and the lack of concern for the pain was highly problematic & unprofessional.Literally no follow-up when I continued to complain. I have been going to Dr. Reid for almost 25 years now. When I stay in Raleigh, I still drive all the way to Clemmons to see her. She is extremely knowledgeable and caring, and I love all the staff - they are compassionate and very friendly. My two kids grew up going to Dr. Reid's office; they are almost like family to us! I have a lot of health issues, and they have always taken such good care, not just of my mouth, but my general health needs. They removed several mercury fillings I had, which had a very positive impact on my health. I have dental PTSD from past bad experiences at other dentists, and they have always made me feel very comfortable, with nitrous gas, headphones, special anesthesia my body requires, etc. I highly recommend Dr. Reid's office! I wouldn't even give Dr Reid one star but it made me. My experience started off pretty well. Very friendly and. I e during my cleanings but........then I was told that I should really have my old fillings removed. The mercury was dangerous and it could put my health at risk. Shame on me for listening. I was having NO problems with my teeth. They removed the fillings from 2 teeth and then I had to have 2 root canals, 2 crowns and have been in pain ever since. 4 years, hundreds of dollars spent, multiple trips to endodontist and all because of an unnessary treatment. I'm still dealing with the consequences of her bad advice. Shame on this office for doing this to people just to make more money. I've since learned that there's no concrete evidence that this will harm anyone. Do not go to her. I wouldn't even give Dr Reid one star but it made me. My experience started off pretty well. I've been to a lot of dentists over the years, and without a doubt, Dr. Reid stands head and shoulders above all the ones I've seen. Her skills and knowledge are second to none. I first saw her for a complete cosmetic make-over of badly discolored and crooked teeth. I also had a lot of mercury amalgams which she removed using the latest safe techniques. It was more life-changing than I expected, and in 11 years not a single cap or veneer has come off. That's unheard of. Getting the mercury out improved my health as well, I believe. I still get compliments on my smile. If you are afraid of the dentist, or have a had a bad experience, I couldn't recommend her more highly. They use headphones, nitrous, and other methods that make the experience much more pleasant than what you may have experienced in the past. I've been her patient off and on for over ten years, and have learned it is better to buy a plane ticket from another state than take my chances on someone less skilled. I currently drive almost 4 hours to see her; and it's worth it. She also has the nicest and best trained staff of any practice I've ever been to as well. The treatment here is top-notch. I actually enjoy coming to my dentist. Dr. Roberts has a great personality and a good bedside manner. I'd come here even if it were further. Everyone that I've gotten to meet has been extremely professional and courteous. They text and email you with upcoming appointments which is really helpful for me. There is coffee and gourmet snacks available which is nice if you've missed a bite to eat. Both doctors are graduates from Chapel Hill, one of the best dental schools in the country. They are very informed and consider themselves life long students in dentistry which is a definite selling point for me. I love that Dr. Reid and Dr. Roberts are interested in bio-compatibility and they take extra care in their ethics. There aren't many offices that have gone over my case in such detail, they take their time to provide options so you can make an informed decision. The treatment here is top-notch. I have been going to Dr. Reid for many years. We developed a long term plan for my teeth about 8 years ago and have followed the plan. My teeth are beautiful and I get so many compliments on my smile. My smile is so important because I am a Flight Attendant and passengers on the plane need to see a friendly face with a big smile. I can deliver a great smile and it's all because of Dr. Reid and her competent staff. Each and every member of her staff are friendly, loving and caring. I would not go to any other dentist! I have been going to Dr. Reid for many years now, and Teresa has been my dental hygienist even longer. Everyone is very positive and friendly there. I understand that Dr. Reid is especially interested in cosmetic denistry, but I have never wanted that to be a part of my care. It was very easy to communicate that to her, and she is a heck of a good dentist, totally apart from the cosmetic aspects of her practice. MOST TERRIBLE VISIT AND "Dr" I have EVER visited--even after a long line of traumas and having "navy dentists/students" work on me-- I made an appt with this woman. The ONLY time she came in was to yell at me about how she would not be interrupted in her work day to do something unethical because I wouldn't sign paperwork. UNFORTUNATELY either the super nice nurse (making an appointment here is apparently a waste of TIME even if you do co pay--she's much too busy for that. She YELLED AT ME FOR ASKING HER TO DO SOMETHING WRONG. WHEN THE NURSE TRIED TO EXPLAIN SHE DIDN'T UNDERSTAND AND I TOLD HER SHE WAS MISUNDERSTANDING SHE STARTED SCREECHING SOME MORE. NO APOLOGY. INSTEAD SHE KICKED ME OUT OF THE OFFICE BECAUSE IT WASN'T THE PLACE FOR 'me'. BUT THAT CO PAY SURE WAS GOOD ENOUGH... IF YOU HAVE ANY FEAR WHATSOEVER OF THE DENTIST THIS WOMAN "MAY" BE GOOD AT WHAT SHE DOES, BUT I WILL NEVER KNOW BECAUSE OF HER JUVENILE BEHAVIOR AND ZERO RESPONSIBILITY FOR MAKING A MISTAKE.
