dr iyengar takes time to communicate with pts to provide thorough care. she listens without prejudice and is open to alternative health care approaches. she will refer to specialists when needed. she will follow up to be sure patient is getting tests and taking prescriptions as ordered. she works with pt's needs, concerns, cultural values. she is kind and compassionate. she provides holistic care. her practice is busy but she makes an effort to work a patient in the schedule or refer to an alternative provider if appropriate. the office staff are professional, friendly, and efficient. seating is comfortable. magazines are on the table. parking is free.

Dr Iyengar is the consummate diagnostician and compassionate caregiver. She is my husband’s doctor and soon to be mine. He has a host of physical issues and I’m always astounded by the amount of time and careful study she gives his health. Dr. Iyengar is an exemplary doctor and gives my husband the time and provides my husband with thorough analysis of his multiple health issues. I recommend her enthusiastically as an incredible and rare doctor.

Doc Iyengar has been my family's doc for 30+ years. She's thorough, she listens, and if she questions anything she's getting tests ordered so she has facts.we moved out of Belvidere 15 years ago, I'll drive the 25 min. To get there to keep her as our doctor. I luv her office staff, they've been through all my family's highs and lows.

I was given a reference to this doctor from a friend. I explained to them I just moved back to the area and I didn't have medical insurance I had to pay with cash. Because of my previous medical conditions insurance is unaffordable for me right now. A guy with an indian accent got on the phone was very rude. He told me i should get a lawyer and sue someone to help pay, i told him i don't want to sue anyone i just need a doctor that understands and can work with me. He then told me i should quit my job and go on disability. WOW! I don't want to quit my job, i just need medicine until i can get insurance to help me get an operation i need for my torn arm muscle, but will take a little while to afford that since covid slowing down work. He then hung up on me! Zero stars for rudeness! I'll find a doctor who cares and understands, and not worried about making money but helping the patient like they took an oath for! I have gone to Dr. Iyengar for about a year now, and she is excellent. She helped me get my allergies under control better than they have been in years!!

I think she is a very good Dr. She seems to run late, but that's because she sits down to talk to you, not rushed to get out... that's important to me. I'm very happy with the way she is about being very thorough and running necessary tests to find the cause of your health problem. Really glad I found her.

She is very professional and spends time in listening to problems and give excellent treatment. She is very knowledgable and dedicates her time to get us better. I highly recommend her for primary care doctor

Dr. Iyengar is a very good Dr. ,she is very nice and takes her time with you and also makes sure she does everything she can to find an answer to your problem. What I do not like is the staff ,when you ask for your results your not getting it from the Dr. or nurse and the receptionist cannot read or understand the results.
