Dr. Kelt is an amazing doctor. He is smart, kind, and provides me with top notch pharmacological care!

Dr. Kelt and his staff treat you with patience and compassion. I recently returned as a patient after a few years away. I am so glad I did so because I feel more hopeful about the future.

I would recommend Dr. Kelt as a psychiatrist to anyone. He is a great listener, and wonderful diagnostician. I've been with him for four years, and he has been amazing. He was so super helpful during the pandemic!

I have been seeing Dr Kelt since I think 2018 now, and I’ve been private pay the whole time. Any psychiatrist, well any doctor visit at all without insurance is crazy expensive….but I truly enjoy and and so grateful for Dr Kelt and his PA, Renee. All the staff is great, but I’ve worked closely with both of them re: my specific needs and it’s such a great experience. I always had horrible anxiety about going to the doctor (hence the psychiatric needs ????) and severe anxiety in general along with depression and have struggled with ADD since I was diagnosed at 8 years old at ScottishRite through the formal testing and diagnosis that was the process in the early 90s. Long story short - - I’ve struggled for as long as I can remember trying to find the combo theater works best for me. Not having insurance also played a huge role due to the best meds costing upwards of $400/30 day supply ! At the end of high school in 2003, my PCP finally told me I needed to see a psychiatrist after I had been going to her my whole life. I didn’t want to deal with that task at the time, so I instead I just stopped taking any medicine which was a horrible idea! I finally made my self take that scary step and had to try many different doctors who put me on all kinds of different combinations that didn’t work or were too expensive or just plain didn’t work. When I finally figured out the right combination Dr. Kelt was so great at listening to what I’ve been through and hearing me out instead of just telling me what I need without letting me tell him everything I’ve been through. He makes you feel so comfortable and is funny and laid back in a way that just makes you feel at ease but at the same time SAFE and confident that you are in good hands. Worst psychiatrist visit I've ever experienced. Will not return!

I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. It’s hard enough getting ahold of anyone in the office and when you finally get through they’re rude and rush you. Find another psychiatrist to go to cause this one ain’t it! Trashhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I called this practice in early June to schedule a new patient appointment. The first available appointment was about a month out. The scheduling person told me that someone would contact me in the meantime to go over benefits and what to expect in the appointment. That all sounded fine to me so I made the appointment for today July 19 at 10:30am. The first problem is that during this month no one ever called me to verify anything. In fact, the only communication came in the form of a text received on Thursday July 15 confirming the appointment and advising the doctor would send a text link prior to my July 19 1030am appt. Well, 10:30 rolls around and I didn't receive any text. After verifying everything on my end i called the practice and left a message at 10:36a. At 10:43a a very unprofessional woman called me to tell me that the doctor was still planning to talk to me but "something came up" and that he would call me when he could.. I said well, I have another meeting scheduled at 11am. (I only allotted 30 minutes since it's virtual and they never called me to give details) so she says well he can be done by 11am. I'm sorry what? You want me to pay a full price office visit for a first time appointment with a psychiatrist for less then 15 minutes of his time? What exactly will that accomplish besides a billable for the doctor? After I explained that didn't seem sufficient she then blamed me again saying the allotted appointment had been for 45 minutes which again no one told me but still doesn't work seeing as we are already 20 minutes into that time frame. I understand things come up I really do but doctors need to observe the same practices for missing appointments themselves as they do for patients missing appointments. it's a two way street. I have waited a month for this appointment after the painstaking process of trying to find a doctor and now I get to start all over again. If the woman who called had even shown the slightest kindness or remorse or understanding I wouldn't even be writing this review. The fact is the doctor knew his appointments were to be delayed and his staff should have called the people affected. I called this practice in early June to schedule a new patient appointment. I was one of Dr. Kelts first Spravato. He was highly recommended by my doctor. Dr. Kelt cares. Most patients know who cares and who doesn't. The staff is awesome. Dr. Kelt called me at home just to see how I was doing. Doctors like him are hard to come by. Your n good hands.

Dr. Kelt is a lifesaver. He got my bipolar under control, and he has always been there whenever I have needed him. Everyone in his office staff, including Christie and Liz, are angels. Especially during this pandemic, Dr Kelt has made telecalls to me, and he takes care of my medication ussues. He has always been there for me.

While I think Dr. Kelt is a good guy, I cannot recommend his practice. His office is impossible to get someone on the phone with, and I got off of a schedule because I did not make a follow-up appointment and could not get anyone on the phone. As far as him, while he was good for prescribing, I felt like he told me the same stories over and over again and was more focused on educating his students than helping me. Cannot recommend, sadly.

Very patient and understanding. Listens and never makes you feel rushed. I am very lucky to have found Dr. Kelt and would highly recommend him for psychiatric needs

Doctor Kelt is by far the best psychiatrist I have seen. My previous psychiatrists would barley spend 5 min with me it was mostly just medication management and I understand that sometimes that's all that's needed but in my case doctor Kelt not only takes office time to go over my issues and takes his time a it shows when a doctor genuinely cares. But he has also taken time out of his personal life to call me after hours TWICE.. if you want a doctor that cares then make an appointment with doctor Kelt. Dr. Kelt is a very easy person to talk to , And a very knowledgeable doctor. I feel like he truly cares for his patients. He has helped me change my life and I will forever be thankful. Thank you Dr. Kelt

I saw Dr. Kelt on Tuesday, Nov.19. He's been my Psychiatrist since Sept. 2001. I've had no issues with Him. His staff are on point & the atmosphere is non-toxic.

Started out great and went to two appts. I tried calling, left two messages regarding a prescription and my next appt. But, never received a call back. Are they still open?

I love going to Dr Kelt. He has always showed genuine concern for my well-being. It took me a long time to cope with my psychological status but with his help and the help of his staff I am much better and have a better understanding of my condition. I would always highly recommend Dr Kelt and the entire office.

He diagnosed me with ADHD. I started on the medicine he prescribed to me after he asked me many questions. He has changed my life for the better. I really wish I found him sooner. I’m 49 years old and am so grateful that he found the correct medication for me. I highly recommend him. Thank you Dr. Kelt!

I first saw Dr. Kelt in 2007 when I thought I was going crazy. He let me say everything I needed to and never interrupted or rushed me. He listened to everything I said, then told me my diagnosis and explained it to me. He helped me see that none of it was my fault and I wasn't crazy. When I was pregnant he made sure to manage my meds safely for my baby. He helped me through postpartum depression as well and many other difficult things in my life. He is the kindest doctor and I trust him 110%.

I have been seeing Dr. Kelt for many years and truly appreciate his personality and skill in treating patients. Dr. Kelt truly listens to his patients and responds to their needs and requests. I highly recommend him above all other doctors (five or six I’ve seen in the past) in his field.

Dr. Kelt is fantastic - the office is not. I have tried many times to get RXs refilled and nobody answers the phone or returns emails. On the brink of leaving, but stick around because he's a great doctor.

Dr Kelt is delightful, sweet and extremely helpful. He is willing to address any concerns I have and work with me on the best options.

Dr. Kelt is probably one of the best P-docs I have ever had. He is compassionate and actually takes time to listen. He also takes the time to explain in length when you have questions. Really, hands down, the best P-doc I have ever had. However, he only gets 3/5 because the people running his office are terrible. They are totally disorganized and never return phone calls. This is mental health and you need to know that you can get a hold of the Dr.if it is an emergency.

Dr. Kelt is THE BEST!!! I have been seeing him for 14 years and I am 75 years old and still physically and mentally able to work full time (48 hours most weeks) for USPS thanks to God and Dr. Kelt. Thank you Jesus for allowing me to find Dr. Kelt.
