Yep, terrible. We should trust the reviews. I hesitated because the reviews are bad. I waited for an hour and after I asked how long it would be I was told the doctor wouldn’t be in until later. I’m pretty sure they would’ve let me sit there for another hour.

DONT recommend!!! Just a flat our jerk to my family, was mean, yelled at patient and also refused care in the middle of visit ( showed he just wanted insurance filing rights for payment not truly be a doctor and earn your pay by working for that insurance claim. He lied about not working only to come walking into room acted very uninterested in patient visit never once touched or even looked at patient at all he acted like he had better things to do then care for this black patient. He has really shown his character, prejudiceness of blacks, lack of care and also unstable mentally. DO WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE UNLESS YOU WANT A CLOWN SO CALLED DOCTOR THAT NEEDS HIS LICENSE PULLED AND RAN TO SEE IF EVEN VALID EXAMINING /TREATING YOU. HE NEEDS A MENTAL EVALUATION ASAP TO SEE IF HE IS EVEN FIT TO PRACTICE THEN MAYBE A VISIT FROM NAACP TO CHECK HIS PREJUDICES VIEWS ON HOW HE TREATS OTHERS THAT'S NOT WHITE... GO HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK- HE OWNS BOTH CLINIC LOCATIONS IN CLARKSVILLE, TN

9/30/2020 Do NOT visit this office if you are of African American decent. I was just told " we don't take your kind or your attitude here. Allegedly I was suppose to have been rude to office staff at Madison location. Yes in a lot of pain due to work injury. If I was rude I don't believe workers comp would have been billed and I walked away with treatment and referral. I will be making a formal complaint with the Board of Medicine.

One star is too many.. By far the worst so called doctor I’ve ever met. Either he is on drugs or needs anger management because his actions are very bizarre. I was referred here from my chiropractor and went in for severe back pain. When I arrive they took my co-pay upfront (which I thought was odd) then took me into a room where the doctor spent less than 2 minutes with me then says “I’m going to suggest you follow up with your primary care doctor.” I was in shock because he didn’t even attempt to give me any medical attention for my problems and I was in severe pain. He said things like “I don’t have a magical pill I can give you” and “if you’re in that much pain go to the ER why did you come here” I responded I was referred here by the chiropractor and he then goes on to bash the chiropractors and how they’re not real doctors. ( very unethical in my opinion) I said “So you just took my money and didn’t even plan on giving me any medical attention?” He got so angry by that question slams opens the door to the room and yelled to his staff “Get her out of here now” I couldn’t believe it. I asked one of the staff members on my way out if he is always this way and they shook their head yes and apologized to me. I did file an complaint/investigation report on the facility and a board complaint on his license number 14265 I hope he gets proper discipline he deserves and understands this is not professional behavior. Dr. Kent and his staff were very nice and courteous to me and has helped tremendously! I was looking for a doctor who can give a well check up/physical for my travel overseas and saw that he does them. I read the reviews but I'm the kind who has to see for myself. I was referred from another office who said they did them, but story short, they didnt. So I called Dr. Kent's office first and asked if indeed they do and yes they did and made an appointment for next day. I got there 35 minutes early so I can fill out paperworks and the place was very clean. The front desk, Mary and Tiffany were very helpful along with the other ladies(didn't get their names). I was seen when I finished my paperwork. Talked to Dr. Kent and told him what I needed and he told me the kind of shots and bloodwork I needed. I also told him I needed the results ASAP as my flights were for the following week and needed it to finish my documents for a visa. He called me that late afternoon and said he will be working on it that night. Got my bloodwork the next day (Friday)and Mary and Tiffany said normally bloodwork is sent off on a certain day but will see if it can be done asap so I can get back soon too! They delivered! Tuesday, Tiffany called and said i can pick up my papers! They just don't know how relieved i was! I'm just glad they made it so easy for me. I'm now enjoying my reunion with my husband overseas! I go to Dr. Kent on occasion and he is always helpful. I don’t know what the bad reviews are about, but I've never had a bad experience.

I have been to Drs Care and seen Dr Kent several times and have always found him to be caring and knowledgeable. I consider him one of the finest doctors I know.

They failed to bill my secondary insurance even though it was given at the time of service and I received a bill for the incorrect amount

I would give no stars if possible- not only is this facility absolutely disgusting and filthy, it's service is no better. Upon walking in to this location, the extremely small waiting room had a hand full of chairs that were dirty and full. I was forced to stand in the corner where a large spider had been squished and left on the floor. Every corner of that office was disgusting and it became very clear that I did not want to seek any medical attention from a Dr that would allow such conditions. I proceeded to explain that I didn't wish to wait in which they referred me to the Sango location (which was slightly better but not acceptable by any means). I was refused service because of a billing misunderstanding from years prior. I would not recommend ANY Doctors Care facilities in this town and am actually glad that I was not seen there. Dr. Kent was and absolute jerk to me when is was injured and visited Drs. Care. He really walks the line on "do no wrong line". I will rate him 5 stars for ego and 1 star for bedside manner. I pray that this new Gateway stepdown ER puts a beating on Drs Care.

I'm not sure if Dr. Kent as I did not wait around long enough to see him. The waiting room and facility was absolutely disgusting. Every single corner had dead bugs and I was forced to stand in a corner where a large spider had been squished to the floor. I will never go back to any Dr'S Care facilities.

I was very impressed with dr. Kent and I do not impress easily. If I could have him as my primary doctor I certainly would. I am an elderly woman and have had many Dr. Very few of them has shown the compassion and kindness that Dr Kent did.

I would not give any stars at all, but 1 star is as low as it can go. We will not be returning due to rude billing staff, who seems to act like they do not have time to answer questions about what you owe. We actually went to the Madison Street location and received the bill from the Wilma Rudolph location, so we had a pleasant experience seeing the actual doctor, but not with the billing staff from Wilma Rudolph. My toddler fell jumped off the couch and hurt her arm, and being concerned parents we took her to DoctorsCare. There was no one else in the office at all, so we were seen pretty quickly, however we found out we had a surprise lapse in medical coverage when we checked in. We paid a "deposit" of $105 (which was really a fee to see the doctor), we were fine with this charge. Our daughter had x-rays taken which cost $100, and we paid that when we left. The doctor informed us she had "nursemaid's elbow" which is not serious, but when a tendon pops out of place. She showed us how to roll it back into place if it happens again. The doctor & nurses we dealt with were AWESOME, however the office staff is clueless and rude. There is a breakdown in communication somewhere! When we were checking out there was a charge on our daughter's chart that the receptionist didn't understand (since all the doctor did was hold our daughter's elbow and pop it into place), so she just charged us for the x-rays. She told us the woman who does the billing was on vacation and we might receive a bill later. Well we get a bill for $180 stating we owe $105 for the doctor fee, $100 for the x-ray, and stating we paid only $25. When my husband called the woman (on speakerphone) in billing (did not say her name) said that we did indeed owe that money and it was a remainder of the cost to twist my daughter's arm in place, however that procedure was not listed on our bill. We understand that medical costs are expensive, and we would have understood if the full bill was itemized. Obviously anyone would be confused if they got a bill for the services they actually paid for, stating they only paid $25. My husband was respectful on the phone and the woman had a serious attitude, saying "well sir I am just going to send you a fully itemized bill, is there anything else I can help you with?" When he was just asking for clarification on the amount owed. Essentially we owe $180 for the doctor to twist my daughter's arm, so instead of helping us work through our confusion the woman just HUNG UP the phone. We called back to speak to a manager and were just placed on hold and forgotten about for 20 minutes, before getting disconnected. We are HAPPY to pay what we actually owe, but prefer all our questions being respectfully answered and being worked with. My husband truly was not rude as he works in customer service, he was not yelling or cursing, and the woman simply acted as though she did not have time for us. We will NEVER return and we will tell everyone about our AWFUL experience. I would not give any stars at all, but 1 star is as low as it can go. Please do not visit this facility. They are rude, uncaring and unreasonable. I visited one of their offices and they told me I would have lab results in 48 hours and 9 days later, nothing. I was told nothing until I called the director who hung up on me and made a threat to call the police. Oh my goodness. Please think twice. Ugly attitudes!!!

To start off I'm very sick to begin with. I went into the office on my lunch break, which apparently was their lunch break as well. I filled out the paper they asked me to. When they called me up to the front window/ desk area they woman said ma'am your insurance office is closed from 12-1 so unless you want to pay your deductible you will need to wait. I arrived a little before noon. I told the lady I already met my deductible at the other location at the beginning of the year. She told me she was sorry I would still need to pay the 300.00 because it wasnt showing up in the computer. I over paid the other location and it took them over 30 days to process my refund check I told the rude lady behind the desk but she didn't care. So I left. Entering the Wilma Rudolph location as I approached the desk my 1st and last name was written on a piece of notebook paper with notes beside it. So when the lady asked me my name I said ohhh it's the name on that paper. They told me my deductible was met and I would be seen in Just a little while to have a seat. As I am sitting in the lobby they are talking about me. How professional is that?? It's not!! The only reason I ceTo this place today is because my doctors office is closed. I would absolutely never recommend this place to anyone. I am very unhappy by the way I have been treated!!

Dr. Kent is unfit to be providing care for patients. He made me feel like a druggy due to me having a history of severe pain. Even though I have not seeked any meds from even my primary care doctor (they were closed so had to pay them a visit). I told him I did not want meds I wanted a solution have to give him props on getting x rays done and finding out I re injured my neck and have a cracked vertebrae so how does he treat me with meds!!!!! He is currently at the Doctors Care Urgent Care in Sango area in Clarksville, Tn. So now I have to go and face my REAL doctor who he called to find out if I was being treated for pain and who I tried to see a month ago when this occured however she was out with back surgery. hmm ironic! For those of us that try not to treat our symptoms without meds mad props for those of us that abuse meds shame on you because it has hurt us that actually need them when we can not take the pain anymore. PS Dr. Kent if people really wanted drugs to abuse they wouldn't come to a dr to get them. I will do my best to make sure you sir will be known to be the ahole you made me feel like. If I could give a negative rating I would.
