Longest I ever waited for doctor appointment. It wasnt with Dr. Brusie, was another lady doctor. I was there over 4 hours. Worse experience ever.!! shuffled from room to room. Have to go back 6 weeks, hopefully find someone else in meantime. People working there all unhappy. Too many people booked at same time!!!

Very helpful and nice in my care, first place I would go to! Sometimes he gets a little touchy ???? even though im 89. I like it tho, Thank Bru Bru! maybe come by my workplace one time?

I had the same experience as R Willis (2 hr wait), except, I checked at the desk twice and was told I was next and it wouldn’t be long before they finally realized my chart was just sitting there in a pile on the desk. I am now here for my second visit and they told me they are running 1 hour behind. Seems like this is their standard.

Dr. Brusie and his staff were very friendly and helpful! I had a bit of a wait but it was well worth it!!!

People in reviews talked about how the phone is not answered and i find that quite peculiar. My experience with bru ( my cute nickname for steve) is quite different. There is always an assistant waiting on the phone. Steve dog has been helping me out since day one. Stevey B is THE MOST reliable helpful doctor out there for care.

Saw Dr on an emergency eye visit. The most thorough eye exam I have ever had. Second visit was the same. Yes there was a wait the first visit, but they fit me in as an emergency!! . All staff is friendly and courteous and professional. Everyone was so kind both visits . An employee even let me borrow a phone charger for a long ride home ! This office exceeds excellence. In the Valley area he is definitely my number 1 recommendation. Efficient and thorough service provided my the most optimal care I've received. My only critique on his work is his son, I would not recommend having a son in the workplace and I have said this in earlier reviews. He was a noisy and pestering in my short wait in the waiting room and began kissing another visitor's dog quite extremely on the lips. Although this disturbed me his excellent care and warmness gave me reassurance in his skill. Hope you guys are able to make a visit if you are having any eye issues! There's a bit of kvetching for delayed appointments. Sorry, the quality of my eye care is more important, and I think Dr Brusie is great. He is nice, he's polite, he's very professional. He explains everything that's going on. If he were a primary care physician, I'd probably move, and I LOVE my PCP.

My appointment was for 8:30am. I arrivedearly and had all my paperwork filled out when I got there. 37 minutesafter my scheduled appointment and I am still waiting. About 10 others are here waiting as well. They over booked and make you wait..... pure greed. Go to a Dr. that cares about their patients. This one seems to only care about his bank account!! 40 mins after sceduled appointment and still waiting.

Poor patient care, didn't seem to concerned that the prescriptions that his staff called in weren't clear so my mom ended medicating her wrong eye. Given the high volume of elderly that comes through his door it makes me wonder who else is confused and possibly not doing their medications correctly. Tried to talk about it he brushed it off and indicated it was my mothers fault. Don't waste your time, we all deserve better! Poor Care- I was left waiting for 2 hours during my most recent appointment. The waiting room was very busy . It wasn't until I went up to the desk to find out what was going on that I was told my chart had never been passed to the clinician. The last visit (about a year back) I was left alone in one of the rooms for almost an hour (it doesn't take that long for the eyes to become dilated). Will never go back. I found Dr. Brusie to be attentive and a caring physician. I have recommended him to family and friends.

My experience with Dr. Brusie has been excellent. He listens, explains, advises, and will refuse to perform a procedure if he believes it is not in the best interests of the patient's health and welfare. He has a good manner, is very professional, and is an excellent surgeon. Waiting can be a problem, but working a patient's eye (s) is time-consuming; it always has been. He is thorough, so plan accordingly.

Excellent service and very thorough on my first visit. It was an emergency case and the doctor was very gracious and good. The staff were also very courteous.

I waited for an hour for my appointment. Dr.Bruisie is clearly good at his practice but has no bedside manner. I was finally called in about 10 minutes before closing and was asked to come back 2 days later.

I have been a patient of Dr Brusie for quite a few years. He performed my cataract surgeries in 2010 and has yearly checked my eyes since. He is a very capable eye surgeon, shows concern for patients, and I am extremely pleased with his service.

Our family members have been treated in the office that Dr. Brusie works in for over 20 years. Recently my husband and I were sent reminder cards to make appointments. I called his office this morning and was told that Dr. Brusie only makes appointments for individuals with issues and that he no longer takes patients for regular exams. The person answering the phone offered to give me a name of an Optometrist that they would recommend.

Very surprised at the poor level of care. Absolutely no interest in finding what was wrong with my eye. Did not ask questions or look for what was wrong. Basically just said it was fine (it was not) and went back to billing on his computer. I would strongly suggest looking somewhere else for an eye doctor. I have heard Lexington Eye is very good.
