I definitely recommend Dr. Thornton, wis staff is wonderful as well.

As usual Dr Thornton is excellent and very professional. I trust his judgment completely.

The only people that was available was the billing dept. They tried to overcharge me. Claudia wassomewhat rude and wasn't concerned to much about my needs and it took a while for her to get back to me. She is not good or too important to listen. It should have taken a few minutes to get my work restriction paperwork filled out. However, it took over a week, and she still didn't do it right. I seriously doubt the company will do anything to rectify this.I'm guessing they make too much money for this to be a concern.

Was a very satisfactory experience. Very pleased with Dr. Thornton. Glad I selected him to do the knee injections. The injection actually helped my back.

Dr. Thornton is friendly and good at guiding patients through recovery. He was great at explaining what he did in my knee surgery in a way that I could understand. I feel like recovery is going great!

I first met Dr. Thornton through a workman's comp injury. I had torn my rotator cuff and biceps tendon. Dr. Thornton through the entire process of the consultation, surgery, and recovery was top notch! He is very personable and really made me feel at ease. Because of his expertise and the rehab process I am about 6-months ahead of schedule. In talking to other nurses at the hospital many told me that if they had to have surgery, he would be who they select. I just went back to him for knee pain this week and I had the exact same experience.

Dr Thornton repaired my rotator cuff. The whole process has gone smoothly! This is an exceptional practice. I’m glad my NP referred me here. Dr Thornton informed me prior to surgery this is 6 months rehab for me. postponing surgery x 2+ years wasn’t my best decision but I’m doing exercises & PT, my 3 month follow up was yesterday. Dr Thornton follows you post op—not all surgeons do this HE IS AWESOME! The staff are pleasant & professional. Highly recommended (already sent 1 person to him).

Dr Thornton , you are definitely a Godsend for me. No knee pain since I have seen you. I know it's not forever. But you gave me relief!! Your staff is awesome and you have the best bed side manor. You actually care about your patients. I felt that as soon as I met you!!! Thank you Dr!!!

My knee was hurting me so bad, to the point i couldn't walk, but when I visited Dr. Steve and he told me what was wrong with my knee, he knew exactly what I needed to make it feel better. I am in no more pain. I will definitely visit again. Thanks soooo much.

Dr. Thornton is such a great doctor. I've been suffering over a year because of a shoulder injury. Just 2 visits and my pain is gone.

Dr. Thornton is awesome. He diagnosed my knee issue and scheduled my surgery to fit my schedule. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Thornton was great and put my mind at ease. I felt comfortable and reassured about what was going on with my left knee strain. He wanted the best thing that would help me so I'm in therapy first. No extra unecessary treatments being thrown at me. So I felt protected. Wish he was my primary Dr definitely need a good Dr like this looking out for my overall well being.

Once again, Dr Thornton has none a wonderful job on my knee due to arthritis! Can not feel a thing and am walking with glee! Thank you Steve!

I've seen Dr. Thornton for shoulder and elbow issues. What I love about seeing Dr. Thornton is that is a no fuss, no muss visit. He is timely, friendly, addresses the issue(s) and explains in a way that makes sense, treats the affliction and off you go about your day. He immediately disarms you with his charm and bedside manner. While I hope to never have to see him again, I would not think twice to call him should the need arise.

This is one of the most efficient offices I have ever been to. In my initial appointment today I was able to get X-rays, receive a preliminary diagnosis, schedule a MRI and a follow up appointment with another doctor who will be the doctor to perform my surgery if deemed necessary. As a bonus, the staff and doctor were just as friendly and helpful as they were efficient. I definitely recommend this office to everyone. Dr Thornton rocks. He has been caring for my knee that has no meniscus and arthriris . I have been able to dance the last few years following his surgery. He assisted me with a plan to manage the swelling. Very positive in approach and drained fluid without pain and provided encouragement.

Very professional and great communication skills. Stays on topic, but also includes my response time. I do not feel rushed. Very thorough. Open to questions.

Dr. Thornton was very thorough with his exam. And when he couldn't find anything on the X-rays that were taken, he felt like it would be best if I got an MRI to attempt to find the source of the pain. This is the second time I have come to TOA and both Dr. Thornton and Dr. Raynor are both very good at helping to eliminate your pain.

He was very sweet with great bedside manners. My only complaint was the wait time was over an hour.

I didn’t have to wait long to see the doctor and have X-rays done. The doctor was very thorough and explained what I needed to do.

Dr. Thornton has repaired each of my broken knee caps. He takes his time to discuss options, listens well and is very personable. I would highly recommend him to anyone with knee issues.

Dr. Thornton is an excellent surgeon. He is very polite and answers all of your questions in away that you understand. He walks you through each step and assures you your recovery is going as scheduled.

Dr Thorton is an exceptional Dr that quickly recognizes the problem and takes immediate action to resolve it!! Excellent results with him on numerous issues!!!

This is the second time I've see Dr. Thornton for a dislocated shoulder. The first time I saw him I had pulled my arm out of the socket Wing Surfing on Lake Ray Hubbard. I told him I was incredibly active and he said if he could avoid surgery, that was the rout to go. Very honest and practical. He sent me to PT and I was back to tennis, paddle surfing etc in a few months. This time around I avoided a terrible skier heading for me and slammed the same shoulder into a mogul. Luckily I didn't need surgery, no fractures etc. So back to PT I go. My point is Dr. Thornton advises well, put's my needs and wants first and gives it to you straight. He is not "surgery prone" if it isn't needed. I trust him. That is all I ever want from a Dr.

Dr Thorton is my 4th doctor I have seen in this office.All of these doctors have been of the highest caliber and made me very comfortable through an assortment of treatments. The entire staff is the best at all locations.

My visits with Dr. Thornton and the office staff were very timely, never had to wait any longer than about 5 minutes in waiting room or even the exam rooms. Staff treated me with patience and respect, very friendly. Listened, heard and explained things very well to be understood. My treatment was very helpful and I recommend this office highly!

Dr Thornton was awesome and very personable!

No nonsense doctor who gets to the point and discusses the realities of my condition. I had a biceps tendon tear that he surgically treated. He explained the needed procedure and the recovery process. No series of incessant tests and un-necessary therapies. He correctly assessed my recovery and made sound recommendations that had real world application. I would 100% recommend Dr. Thornton for his no nonsense approach to medicine.

It's obvious Dr. Thornton takes great pride in his work. Each and every time I have met with him his focus has been on doing everything he can to get my knee repaired and get me back on my feet, and he did just that. I'd like to thank him and the entire medical staff that was on hand during my procedure for doing all they could to make the experience as easy and stress free as possible. I was up walking in a matter of hours and instantly I was able to feel my range of motion had returned. I would definitely recommend Dr. Thornton to anyone in need of orthopedic care.
