Dr Thoski is the best pulmonologist there is i have been with this MD for many years and always received the best treatment

Worse dr ever seems he does not care about his patients my appointment was canceled 3 times even with out seeing the doctor yet every time they call to reschedule does he even work

I saw dr Tomski 3 times. Each time he was very dry and had a bad attitude. He did not want to do any digging or extra to help me figure out what is happening inside my chest. His answer is just keep taking this asthma medicine which I’ve been on for 4 months and nothing has changed. I asked if we could do an up to date X-ray. He said no. I asked if he would write me a prescription of a non narcotic anxiety medicine to help get me through he said no. He just treated me like I was inconveniencing him. Horrible bedside manor. Great at explaining options - let me know I was eligible for CPAP but likely the expense vs benefits at my level would not really be worth it. When deciding on medication, he was open about options and prescribed not only based on my health but took into account my concerns about side effects I wanted to avoid. I have no idea why anyone would rate him as poorly as some have. No, he doesn’t seem like one to sit back and have idle chitchat, but I am glad for that. I’d rather have a doctor be helpful than entertaining. He’s who I’d tell a friend to call if they were having issues with sleep. For the first time in my life, I feel awake. Dr, Tomski actually listened to me, answered my questions and reviewed my past medical history. He was pleasant, ordered tests to rule out possible causes of my problem and I felt very comfortable with him. Because of the manner in which he advised me to quit smoking and his acknowledgement as to how difficult it was to do so, I bought nicotine lozenges and am on the path to decreasing my smoking on the way to quitting. I would highly recommend him to others with pulmonary problems and give him 5 stars.

Worst experience I have ever had with a physician. He has a HORRIBLE and DEGRADING bedside manner. Talked rudely about his fellow colleagues and represents Park Ridge in a terrible way. I will not be back!

i like Dr Tomski straightfoward and above board

I have seen Dr. Tomski on at least two or three visits. He was pleasant, professional and thorough. I can't agree at all with the two previous negative reviews.

Dr. Tomski was very direct and to the point. I found this refreshing. He wasted no time in ordering the tests that I need to help him provide excellent service. He wanted copies of records from other doctors I have seen, so that he can make an informed decision about my care. I appreciate his directness and attention to detail.

We have never been spoken to by any doctor in the manner that Dr. Tomski spoke to us. He cut us off mid-sentence and dismissed anything that we had to say. He spoke to us in a very condescending manner and I was appalled at his demeanor. My spouse had warned me about his behavior and poor manners, and still I was SHOCKED at how bad it really was.

Worst doctor ever. Horrific bedside manner. Will NEVER go back to him! Rude, degrading and uncaring.
