This office and staff, at one point, were the VERY BEST around. When we moved back into town that was who we wanted for our son to be seen by, of course. Dr. Mitoraj HAD the best bedside manner and WAS wonderful with kids. Our 14 year old needed that attention from his provider, as well as attentiveness to the specific issues he was experiencing. When we approached the nursing staff in regards to our sons mental health, we were placed in a room and a female Doctor came in and handed me a pamphlet on an inpatient institution in Kingsport. We were informed that our son would not be able to be seen again at Dr. Mitoraj's office until they received an evaluation from above said institution. We were treated like aliens, meanwhile our 14 year old son heard everything, so SAD. The mental health questions were in regards to the loss of his grandfather the month before and the struggle he was having with the loss. I HAVE NEVER had a professional, let alone a pediatrician , show such a lack of compassion for our son and his emotions and how to deal with those. His grandfather was his best friend and the base of our family. We then set off to find a new pediatrician for our son and made a decision to go to my pediatrician as a child, Dr. Makres at Bristol Pediatric Associates. We have been trying to get records sent over from Dr. Mitoraj to BPA since December. It is almost February and we went to make an appointment at BPA and to our surprise, NO RECORDS were sent. When we called Dr. Mitoraj's office they insisted they had sent them the day we requested but that was not the case either, as I had difficulty in December getting the records sent and it took me almost 2 weeks with phone calls almost every day asking why and where the records were and was assured they would be sent that day. Today when I called, the receptionist I spoke with was very rude, which has become routine at this office. Again, she assured me they would be sent by the end of business today. This is truly an injustice to my son and any child that gets treated like this. The neglect and lack of care for of our son, especially revealing his mental concerns, could have easily resulted in a malpractice suit. Dr. Mitoraj is a great person but the physicians care in his practice is a direct reflection on him and will surely lead to the closure of this practice.

They will not take previous patients which is pretty stupid you’d think they would want patients to come back to them

He was my peds doctor when I was a baby and now he is caring for all 3 of my babies. He’s great and I love his singing. ????

I highly recommend that if you think there’s something Dr. Mitoraj is missing to seek a second opinion immediately. Unfortunately we did not and we highly regret it. My son has a speech issue and for a couple of years now he’s said it was normal and work itself out. He refused to listen to my wife and I when we would say it had to be a tongue tie. Finally after fighting with him to refer us to a different speech therapist they found the issue. It was in fact a tongue tie among other issues with the muscles inside his jaw area. They asked that he be referred to a physical therapist on top of the speech therapy to help with this while waiting to get the tie taken care of. Dr. Mitoraj refused to refer my son and also refused to offer me an explanation and had office staff continue to hang up on me. He would not talk over the phone and eventually stated he would only speak with my attorney. They won’t answer any questions as all anymore and have since have blocked my number after telling us that both of our children are no longer welcome. He’s extremely unprofessional and too arrogant to admit a mistake even at the sake of a child’s health. His negligence has caused more issues than just speech at this point. Working in the medical field I’ve seen a lot of doctors make mistakes and most will admit it but at the very least they fix what they messed up. The face that he won’t even do that shows he cares more about reputation and money than the patients. He’s a joke and if you truly want the best when it comes to your kids health I do not recommend him. Friendly, good with kids and clean office

He has been my 3 kids pediatrician and is the best. They also love miss Kelly.

Absolutely love this place. We were originally seeing Bristol pediatrics and didn’t have an issue with them but still the experience was one I didn’t look forward to. Swapped to mitoraj and oh my gosh - I didn’t know what I was missing, lol! This place is phenomenal and everyone is so kind. I have two girls and they were incredible with them, the atmosphere is great and I have no stress going in here. The first visit I went it was pouring rain and the staff helped me by watching my girls while I got my car pulled to the front to load the kids up. Also I want to note that mitoraj actually sat down with my 1& 4 year old and asked them questions and interacted with them. He asked them to build up blocks, asked about colors, animals, to name some fruits and veggies, etc. Bristol pediatrics never did that with my kids. The doctors there just asked me how they were doing and then that was pretty much it. I love how hands on and detailed Dr Mitorajs & staff is as well as kind and compassionate. Seriously, if you’re looking for a pediatrician give them a try first. We moved out of state last year and I really miss this pediatrician office. Absolutely love this place. Dr Mitoraj was amazing and i have an autistic blind child. He was truly a blessing

Because this doctor's office is always been there for my kids Dr mitoraj is the kindness sweetest caring doctor I know and he pays attention to the kids and reacts to their needs

Absolutely love everyone here!! They have been so wonderful with my daughter. I couldn't imagine taking her anywhere else for her healthcare. If she's unexpectedly sick they have managed to get her in that day, they always meet her needs, and are so kind to her with great advice for me.

So much for a pediatrician being on call.... ???? what’s the point if they aren’t going to take calls after 9pm? I called at 8:30... and they told me DR. MITORAJ would call me back. An hour later I hadn’t heard from him so I called back and they told me he wasn’t taking calls past 9 even though I called before then.... the only thing they could do for me is send the info to the night nurse. I’m not a happy momma. I have NEVER liked him due to a conversation I had with him when he was on call when Kendall was a newborn. He has never seen her and he will NEVER see either of our children. I don’t care what anyone says... he is NOT a good doctor and I WILL be reporting him.

Dr. Mitoraj is an excellent pediatrician. He has a way with my son that allows him to treat him without forcing him to do anything which alleviates the fear of doctors. his diagnosis is alway right too. I'm happy to have him as a doctor.

I would not recommend him because my daughter has been sick for 2 weeks and been under the care of another Practitioner in office the entire time and suddenly he decides to void a school doctor excuse 2 days after its been sent in, over riding the other practitioner without ever seeing my child. My daughter has been in no shape for school so I find this very unprofessional and unexceptable.This is exactly the reason that flu and other illness spreads continuously through classrooms. I had also requested to speak with or make an appointment with Dr mitoraj before he voided her school excuse so he could see in person how sick she is but he wouldn't return our calls or appt requests. We also had to pay a bill that wasn't even for my child just so they would see her to begin with. Highly recommend other pediatricians. Wonderful doctor. All 3 of my children see Dr. M. Nice staff. Will never go anywhere else for my children's Healthcare needs!

Dr. Tom is hands down the best pediatrician around! He was my husband’s pediatrician and now cares for our children. We will never see a different doctor!

My daughter who was two loved the doctors, she then had a siezure and had a horrifying experience At the hospital when we lived in NY. When we moved down here I thought at first Dr Mitoraj's office was spot on with what I wanted for my kids. I made the office aware of her bad experience and that it takes patience with her. WELL this last visit I was blown away by a nurse and the Dr walking in for her physical and with no communication to me and ZERO ATTEMPT to excite her into cooperating the nurse picked her up, put her on the table and proceded to restraine her while the Dr did her check up. This entire time my daughter is screaming and the nurse said no calming words to her and they even restrained her for the physical on her private area. As a pediactrics office I am very disgusted and will be finding somewhere else for my children to be seen. Dr. Mitoraj is a wonderful doctor! He is experienced, kind, and caring. He is very knowledgeable and listens when the patient has questions or concerns. He is very honest in dealing with you. Our sons love him!

Dr.mitoraj is such an amazing doctor he is so involved with his children.we switched form Dr makers to Dr.mitoraj about 3 years ago and what a difference Dr makers was in and out and mitoraj takes his time he will stay in there as long as he needs to...my children absolutely love him.I recommend him to everyone
