Dr. Writer is the perfect example of how medical personnel should be: He is the best combination of thorough competency with up to date knowledge of the latest developments, and taking his time to explain symptoms and available solutions in a manner a layman can understand and base his decisions on. When I walk out of his office I KNOW what’s wrong and my options. God bless this man.

I met Dr Writer about 25years ago during my first heart attack. From that point on he has been my primary heart doctor and over the years he has kept me above ground. His skill and bedside manner is at the top of any rating chart. I literally owe him my life.

Dr. Writer is an excellent, kind and caring physician. He first saw me a few years ago after I had a very mild stroke. He was called in to perform a procedure to possibly determine if the stroke might be related to a heart issue. I have seen him once a year since that time and have always found him to be exceptional in his relationship with his patients. He is the best!

My husband and I feel very lucky to be patients of Dr Writer since 2010. He has seen us through heart surgery and pacemaker implantation. He always explains our issues at length and he is one Dr we look forward to seeing every year. R

I am always treated with respect and I trust Dr. Writer and associates with their expertise and guidance. I saw my Dr. (Lisa Kern) today, but she had not yet received notations from Dr. W or results of the nuclear medicine heart test on 4/29. Dr. Writer has been my Cardiologist for over 35 years,he is a very caring individual and spends all the time necessary to inform the patient of all aspects of the problems and the recommended solutions. I leave every appointment satisfied that I am in good hands.

It's always a pleasure to see Dr. Writer, as he is very thorough with his exams and always explains what he is looking/listening for and, if he finds something amiss, he explains his findings and recommended course of action and/or options, and also encourages questions from the patient. On this visit he also explained what he looks for when he views a patient's EKG. Interesting stuff for sure.

Dr Writer is a professional and top in his field of cardiology. Good bedside manners and able to communicate with his patients. A great man.

Dr. Writer seems to really care about his patients. He takes his time and answers all your questions thoughtfully and patiently! He listens to your concerns. I feel that he is also very knowledgeable, warm and I enjoy his sense of humor??!!

I was glad to find Dr. Writer to replace my previous cardiologist who had moved. Dr Writer took time to get to know me, understand my history and what I am doing to stay healthy. He explained some things that I did not previously understand. He was thorough, thoughtful, and caring about my history and attitude toward my care. He reinforced those things I was doing correctly and made some suggestions that will benefit me. Dr. Writer will be an excellent person to have on my medical team.

I have been Dr. Writer's patient for quite a few years. I never met a more compassionate doctor; he takes time to explain, to answer questions, spends as much time as is needed, has a great attitude. His demeanor is positive with every visit. I would surely recommend him.

Dr. Writer was the first Doctor to listen to my concerns about high blood pressure even with meds. It took some time to get the right combination but finally have it under control. He also spent a great deal of time inquiring about a newly diagnosed heart condition and scheduled me for an ablation adding years to my life. I am blessed to have him as my cardiologist.

Dr. Writer is as fine a man and doctor as I have ever known! He’s kind, compassionate, and never in a hurry! Most importantly, he is an exceptional heart doctor! Correctly diagnosed my condition within just a few minutes, and performed a procedure the same afternoon that corrected my problem. Extremely personable, and always takes all of time necessary to listen to, and address all my concerns.

ER patient, Dr. Writer indicated William see him this week and to call his office and talk with his Nurse fo insure an appointment. After a promise to call me back failed, talked with Janie who indicated Danny would be put on the line, after being on hold for 15 minutes I was sent to new patient information Desk and was informed the next available opening with Dr. Writer was May 11. Danny indicate William was not a priority or Dr Writer would have returned her call. wow..

From day one, Dr. Writer made me feel that I had found a supportive, knowledgable, and caring physician. He has answered all my medical inquiries, explained the pros and cons of every medication and procedure, and given me a path/plan to address my medical situation. Most of all, he helped me focus on realistic and positive outcomes and how to get there. His calming positive support and understanding are in themselves reasons he has earned my trust and appreciation.
