Great visit. Staff was very cordial and attentive. They obtained all the necessary information and made it available to the doctor for the visit. The initial appointment and follow up appointments were set up immediately at both offices. Dr. Rau was very thorough, looked at all the medical data, answered all our questions and was very kind to my father and I. He was also very timely but took the time needed with us. Look forward to meeting with him and his staff again!

We met Dr. Rao in the hospital when my husband had a stroke. He performed some tests and was very informative in explaining the results to me. Our visits to his office have been the same. I feel he is interested in the care of my husband. Florida needs more doctors like this.

Good luck getting through to this cardiologist in an EMERGENCY. One would think a cardiologist would have an efficiently run office, however phone calls are not answered or returned, EVER. Imagine having a life-threatening heart issue and sitting waiting for your 9am phone call to be answered and it’s nearing 5pm only to NEVER have it returned. That’s the treatment you’ll receive with this office. Edgewater/Port Orange, look elsewhere. You will not even warrant a visit from your doctor before or after surgery. While some may complain about his bedside manner, you have to ask yourself... which is more important to you - a Cardiologist with limited knowledge and great bedside manner,... or having a Doctor that knows what he's doing, and helping you to live to see tomorrow? This man *literally* saved my life. Life with a Pacemaker isn't all that easy, but far it's better than dying... again. I wish I had found him sooner than I did! "Dr" Rao was responsible for reviewing a test that was taken at the hospital under his advise and did not make any attempt to review the results. he was too busy going to lunch and back to the office to discuss the evaluation of the test with his patients. after i complained he called the nurse (i was discharged at 3:30 pm) and stated that he might be able to discuss the results of the test after 6pm.... what a lack of bed manner, professionalism and work ethics, no tact in how to take care of one of his patients. i wouldnt recommend this doctor to my worst enemy. do your homework, read reviews in how this doctor treats elderly patients. do not go to him, you will regret it! My first appt was today. I can't say enough nice about this doctor and his staff. I will be following g up with him for sure.

My life at risk two days ago and he did not show any concern about my questions nor my condition. Please do your self a favor and research for a more professional doctor. After this i wouldn't recommend him to my worse enemy. unfortunately this site does not allow me to give him a zero star. 1 star is too much.

My elderly Dad was Dr. Rao’s patient. I began going to appts with my Dad and wasn’t happy. It was apparent he was having ?? issues with shortness of breath and edema. Dr. Rao referred us to Dad’s pulmonary Dr. who said his issues were ??. GP did blood tst confirming congestive ?? failure. Back to Rao who again said nope not his ??!!!! I told him blood test confirmed CHF. He argued, finally saw test from GP & agreed. Dad to fl hosp for 7 days, discharged and died 5 hours later. LISTEN TO US PLS

Dr Rao and his entire staff, or I'll say everyone I have worked with are the very best!!! And I've dealt with several the last few years!!!

8 years cardiac condition (2 heart attacks) prior to 1st office visit with Dr Roa. Explain my history and current condition to him and he blows me off, says come back if condition get worse. 1 week later, back in office and he finally agrees to do a stress test. 1 week later do the test and now he wants to do a Cardiac Cath to see what's goin on. Had to literally beg him to do a stress test, after two cancelled appointments, finally got it done and found that I had the dreaded widow maker blockage. After Cardiac Cath procedure, had massive hematoma and was left in the care of two nurses,,, Dr left and couldn't be found for over two hours. Spent afternoon in ICU with no pain meds because he forgot to write it on the chart. This is all documented in my patient report! Was sent to Ormond Beach for Bypass surgery. What a joke these guys
