So comforting and knowledgeable put me right at ease!

Dr Rice is exceptional but the billing practices are totally unacceptable. Went in for an annual exam and because she mentioned a medication she recommended, I was charged for 2 office visits. This was the same medication discussed in previous years and I was not charged for 2 office visits. Went there for 17 years and will not return

Unfortunately, this was the second time I waited over an hour to see Dr. Rice. I would rather reschedule than to wait a full hour for an appointment. I wish they would reschedule when they are that behind.

The best doctor

She listened to me and didn’t rush me at all. She was extremely helpful and made sure I understood everything we talked about. Highly recommend.

I came to Dr. Rice as a new patient from out of state and newly pregnant. My first pregnancy/delivery was incredibly traumatic and difficult. In first appointment with her, she listened, already knew my past health history, took her time to ask clarifying questions and answer all of my questions. She was patient, kind, friendly, and just what I needed as I began this new pregnancy journey. She’s incredible and I’m so grateful I found her since I am so new to the area.

I can't even begin to tell you how shocked I was to see that Dr. Rice has a low rating on this site. She is one of the best, most patient and caring doctors I've ever known. She's absolutely fantastic at her job. She's gentle & takes the time to explain anything you need her to. She has a great approach and patience with a variety of patients. I've been seeing her for 16 years & my daughter with bipolar disorder sees her, as well. God bless!

Dr. Rice is always very professional and friendly. Even though she is very busy, I never feel rushed. She always shows personal interest and takes the time to ask questions and answer all of mine. She is an awesome doctor!

Dr Rice has done a fantastic job with helping me clear up some gynecological issues. She was always caring and patient to answer all my questions. I would highly recommend her to all my family and friends.

I love Dr. Rice! She is energetic and passionate about what she does. She listens to your needs. I ended up carrying my baby to 42 weeks and she never pressured me to induce (caveat is that I was monitored weekly and everything looked good). Her energy and positivity helped me through the last part of my natural labor. There are times when I had to wait more than 15 minutes to see her, but that has improved recently.

Very thorough. Spent time clearly explaining what another doctor had confusingly tried to explain. Answered all of my questions and offered her services if I need further explanation. Very helpful and friendly.

We love her a lot for my labor ?? I just afraid of pain but I made it through already ?? She helped us a lot and always on time.

I had a life threatening event about 10 yrs ago and Dr Rice was called in to do the Emergency Surgery. She was awesome, saved my life, and myself and daughters have been seeing her ever since. She is an amazing doctor, surgeon, woman, and person. She ALWAYS goes above and beyond for everyone. I cannot understand ANY negative remarks regarding some of these reviews. I can't help but believe these people saying bad things have more issues within themselves than anything Dr Rice would ever be responsible for. We love you Dr Rice and no doubt you are the BEST in your field! Thank you for all you do and for being you!

She may be technically competent, but her listening skills leave a lot to be desired. It makes it hard to trust her, so I am moving on to another gynecologist. There has also been a great deal of confusion and misinformation when communicating with her through her nurse. I don't know that this has to do with the nurse per se, but is more about not listening well and making assumptions. Overall, I have felt talked down to.

I have read all these reviews and some baffle me. Dr Rice is without a doubt one of the most amazing doctors I have EVER encountered. I had some scary health issues arise and I feel like Dr Rice was in my corner and my advocate the entire time. She really cared about me as a women in terms of my entire health mentally physically emotionally. I am so grateful for her expertise but even more so for her being a strong women who builds me up and supports me.

I have been very happy with Dr. Rice. She is highly knowledgeable and really takes time to communicate with her patients. I have recommended not only friends but my own daughter - that says a lot.

If I could give 0 starts I would!!! Suzanne Rice is the worst OBGYN I’ve ever met. I have a high risk pregnancy and we have tried everything on the market with nausea medications and nothing works unless through an IV, she just canceled all of my IV medications “so I don’t have an option” because “all of this Hyperemesis you’re dealing with is due to your mental state.. and unwillingness to work with me” even though I’ve been admitted in the hospital since Tuesday.. it’s now Saturday WOULD NEVER

She’s pretty cold and heartless. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Dr rice is amazing. By far the best dr i have ever encountered. She handles everything so well and really knows what shes doing. I would highly recommend her!! She really is just great all around!

Dr. Rice exercised outstanding professionalism & expertise while creating a fun upbeat but relaxing environment. She set up a personalized medical delivery plan that fit my needs. My friends, sister in law, and I all appreciated this during our pregnancies! Her assistants are also outstanding! Having them to assist with the minor appointments really frees up Dr. Rice so she can be present for crucial moments. Come delivery my husband and I felt knowledgeable and confident. She's a real gem!

Dr. Rice is great but the office staff is awful. So sad that office staff is ruining a great practice. Hope they can get it together.

Dr Rice was extremely empathetic to my situation. I had a prolapse and needed a hysterectomy and was extremely uncomfortable. She pushed my surgery through very quickly with great success. I would highly recommend her to my friends and family; she has a great bedside manner and took the time needed to explain my situation in laymen terms She made a very stressful situation as comfortabl as possible. , I am thankful to have had a doctor and support staff such as this one to help me through my situation.

I will never forget the horrible experience I had with this doctor. Upon finding out I was going to miscarry I was obviously extremely upset and she actually had the nerve to say in was overreacting and that she has seen patients who have tried years to get pregnant and miscarry and they don't get as upset as me. She has no sympathy and was just the most cold hearted person

Dr. Rice is very caring and took the time to answer all of my questions. I was quite nervous about having a hysterectomy and she was very reassuring and did a fantastic job. Initially she let me know that I may need to have a full surgical hysterectomy based on my ultrasound however she told me that she would do everything possible to complete it laproscopically which would be a much easier recovery. Because she cares about her patients she was able to complete it laprascopically and her and her assistant were very excited to tell me when I was in recovery! She has been wonderful in the aftercare as well and her staff have all been extremely customer friendly. I have had nothing but the best experience and would recommend her to all of my female friends and family!

Dr. Rice delivered both my children. When I had a massive postpartum hemorrhage after my first child because of a rare medical problem, she performed emergency surgery and against all odds was able to find the problem and stop the bleeding. I think most other OBGYNs would have given up and done a hysterectomy, but because she didn't, I was able to have my son a few years later. She respected my birth plan for both my deliveries and is good at explaining procedures and options.

Would not recommend. Doctor does not seem versed in various solutions to GYN problems. Allopathic solutions especially surgical seemed to be her starting and ending points. She was not willing for knowledgeable enough to consider alternative means to a solution. Additionally, her billing practices are sketchy at best. I was billed over $600 for a 30-min appointment.
