Dr. Ahmed is a great doctor. He is very thorough and very compassionate. The reason for 1 star is the inefficiency and incompetence of his staff. They scheduled my mother for a followup visit a month in advance. The day of the visit I called them to ask some questions about the appointment and I was informed that they don't have her down for that day. I told them that I have the appointment card with me with that day's date and time which they gave me on her last visit. They never accepted their mistake and on insisting rescheduled my mom for the following week for lab work and the doctor's visit. Today when I took her in, she had her doctor's visit but then we waited for almost 2 hours for her lab work while many people who showed up later, received services within 10 minutes. Dr. Ahmed is an excellent doctor for me and my husband. Loving and caring staff I highly recommend him. I've been seeing Dr. Ahmed for nearly 10 years and find him to be excellent, trustworthy, knowledgeable and compassionate.

only problem is i am disabled lot of pain in r leg and some times theres a very long wait before i even see the doctor other than that been with him for 10 years '

Absolute joke of a practice. I just moved to Katy and chose this doctor. I showed up to my appointment 20 mins. Early and it still took 2 hours to enter the room with coughing people all around me. Lied to me multiple times about sending my life saving prescription 3 days in row. Very rude staff. I recorded the entire phone calls and can post if needed. They clearly say they sent my medication but when I went to walgreens they said they never got anything from them. They finally sent it today when I told them I was close to having my throat swell up completely and die. I called walgreens and confirmed the only one they sent was a few minutes after the last phone call was concluded. I requested to speak to Ahmed because the nurse didn’t speak English well and I heard him in the background decline. Very shady. Stay away. The staff is rude as hell. Forget getting a return phone call and when you do the nurse will decide that you wasted her time calling and hang up on you. The doctor absolutely does not make phone calls. The doctor does not speak English very well and I am not comfortable with having my life in the hands of someone I can't understand. He was pressuring me to have medical procedures and tests which I did not have the money or feel the need to have- specifically the straw that broke the camel's back was the well woman exam after I have had a hysterectomy years ago. No issues- just something he wanted to do- NO thank you. Going to a much better doctor now! The staff is rude as hell. As a new patient, Dr. Ahmed was extremely thorough. His staff was outstanding. Yes, there is a wait, but the care given to each patient is so worth it! Thank you!

Dr. Ahmed was very thorough and very compassionate on my first visit! I was in a lot of pain and he was very concerned and made sure I got the proper care. He later called me a couple times at home to ensure I was doing ok.

The staff is rude as hell and the office - nurses and doctor will not return phone calls. Likes to order tests and invent issues. He does not speak English well- very heavy accent and difficult to understand. No recommendation here.

Outstanding doctor, I have been seeing him over 13 years and he has helped me to improve my health. Always prescribed right medication to improve my help. He never rushes, always takes his time. I referred him to quite number of friends and all are very happy with him

I like that dr . Ahmad is thorough , very soft spoken and right to the point . Would definetly him to others as well , you can’t beat his experience.

Dr. Syed Ahmed is very thorough and cares about his patients in my opinion. I switched after 20 years with another Dr. to him about 3 years ago. Always very responsive and usually easy to get in for an appointment. I am very impressed how thorough his report about your visit was that he inputs on the Health Portal.

Dr. Ahmed Syed and his staff have always been extremely helpful and thorough during my visits for the last 5 years.

I am very glad for Dr Ahmed's excellent care, he takes time to listens and advises- so glad to find him and stayed with him for more 13 yrs.

Dr. Ahmed is an excellent doctor. He is caring and takes time to listen to any concerns. Always on time and doesn't make the visit seem rushed. Highly recommend his services.

Prompt service, attentive Doctor and PA. I'm not sure about the two negative reviews, but judging by spelling alone I would ignore them.

I had many symptoms that pointed to acquiring further lab work. Instead, I was given a prescription for anxiety/ depression. I went on to see another specialist for the same symptoms the same day for my resgular visit. After a simple urinalysis revealed I had a moderate infection which explained many of the symptoms. Immediately, I was treated with the correct medication. My mood improved after several days. I was very disappointed at the lack of caring and poor judgement. NO RECOMMENDATION

The doctor here is very knowledgeable and thorough. he takes the time to explain everything and really seems to care about what he is doing and about his patients.

This provider and his staff has not let me down in any way. From front desk to the laboratory lady within the clinic. They communicate very well and quickly via phone/email, etc. Awesome job guys!!

I had previously left a review when I was denied to be given a refill on my Antibiotics. The situation was resolved right away and gotten a call from my pharmacy that my prescription is read. Thank you Dr. Ahmed and see you soon for my physical exam.-Imad in katy, tx

Dr. Ahmed is very good in examining the patient. My wife has the severe migraine headache and could not find any relieve for her, but with Dr Ahmed exam and prescription, she feels a lot better. He and his intern spent a lot of time with my wife to look at her migraine problem, We are very happy with his care and will switch our whole family care to him. Thank you Dr. Ahmed. I knew something was wrong.After 2 drs., including my excellent dr. of 10 yrs. Dr. Ahmed finally listened to me, drew 6 vials of blood and discovered a vitamin D deficiency.He did not make clinical diagnosis based on symptoms but sent me to specialists.The ENT made a diagnosis based on symptoms, prescribed a med causing terrible side effects.Dr. Ahmed recognized the diagnosis and med, asked if the ENT did tests,NO.so he sent me to a rheumatologist who did tests and root of my problem discovered!

I was a patient 1998-2013. He and his staff are very nice, however he chases symptoms & as such misdiagnosed me and watched me suffer for years with multiple symptoms. He prescribed a different med to treat each symptom up to 12 scrips at 1 time. One of my specialists recognized all my symptoms and referred me to another dr. who diagnosed me correctly.In 1 month all my symptoms were alleviated w/ just 1 scrip. I felt betrayed by Dr. Ahmed who should have caught this problem years earlier.

Very good doctor and very good care! These professionals really care about my health and have the services to take care of me. The best in the area!
