I absolutely LOVE Dr. Blanchet and his staff!! Dr takes his time and genuinely cares about his patients. Highly recommended. ❤️

The relationship is understanding each other and I believe he knows me now and tells me what I need to know. His comments and response are quick.

Dr.Blanchet is a very good physician and a wonderful caring person he not only cares about your general health but just you as a person your well being. He is patient and I don't feel rushed when I have a appointment with him.He also has a good staff they make you feel comfortable.I would refer all of my family members and friends I know that I am in good hands.???? Great doctor and great staff!

Dr Blanchet is a very caring and knowledgeable Dr I'm very glad that I chose him after the other two doctors had left the practice. I have been going there since 1987 and I plan to keep going there in future

Doctor Blanchet takes good care of me every time he sees me and takes time to listen. I think is a very good doctor. His staff is also good. Thank you doctor.

Dr Blanchet wanted me to be aware of some of the symptoms associated with illness,and diseases that come along with age.Also tests and procedures that need to be performed for an early diagnosis to rule out any and all illness and not be robbed of any time in those Golden Years

Dr Blanchet is awesome. My family and I feel he saved my life. Been with him for many years. He keeps me on track and watches over me. Hope he never retires.

Dr. Blanchet is fantastic. He is a great doctor and person. He will be upfront with you and try his best to get the root of the problem, not just hand out prescriptions.

Very disappointed was told to call upon my arrival in the parking lot was told to punch one of 2extenions to enter office NEITHER WORKED so I walked in and was rudely told to go in the hallway and call again which never worked . Finally someone came out and said there’s problems with the phones . When I went into the room NOT MUCH WAS DONE . The nurse taking my BP was more concerned about selling all types vaccines to me . When I finally saw the Doctor he also tried to sell me vaccines for about 10min. Before checking my heart for only 2 breaths. He didn’t check anything else . If this is a wellness visit it’s not very good. So sad since Acension took over all they are worried about is MONEY. The staff is very rude. If your is to sell your staff is doing a bang up job. Checking my heart and lungs and health not so much . Does anyone there really care????

I've been seeing Dr. Blanchet for well over 10 years now. He's a fantastic tell it to you straight Dr. I really appreciate that he tries first to correct the root cause not just treat the symptom. Highly recommend!

Dr.Blanchet is a great doc! He listens & is very caring. Plus the staff is very friendly!

Dr.Tim has a great bedside manner and always has good advice. The Ladies in the office have always been polite to me.

As always Dr. Blanchet takes the time necessary to find the right solution and answer questions or concerns. Always feel better when I leave!

I've need going to Dr Blancher for 1 1/2 years and at age 65 I can say he's the best family doctor I've seen. He's thorough and takes plenty of time to explain what he recommends and why

He is a wonderful Doctor. He takes care of my mom. And he is just wonderful with her. And he takes time to answer all my questions. And I truly understand what he has explained when we leave his office. He is a true blessing with my mom

Called for An appointment and was able to get me in on the same day. We walked through the process as to what needed to be done and now I’m on my way to recovery. Also was able to get my senior flue shot which I have been trying for weeks to get. Glad I have Dr Blanchet for my PCP.

Dr. Blanchet performed a thorough evaluation, provided direction on the use of my medication to ensure the best results. Also, provided clear direction on diagnostic procedures I need to consider to maintain long term good health.

It seemed like out of the blue my body suddenly felt “off.” It took me an entire, heartbreaking year to find a doctor who would listen to me and believe me. I’ve met other doctors who were arrogant, dismissive, sexist- not Dr. Blanchet. I can’t express how grateful I am for this man. He doesn’t greet you as just a physician, although he is always courteous and professional, he speaks to you more like a friend. Already he knows me so well and takes the time to let me get everything out and he talks through every concern, every possibility, every option that could bring me relief and restore my mental and physical health. He has also done chiropractic work for me which has brought me a great deal of relief. For a year I couldn’t put my finger on what was ailing me and I finally met a doctor who looked me in the eye, listened and believed what I described about my body. In this day and age it’s easy to consult your computer for answers when something flares up, which usually causes additional stress. I’ve had doctors berate me for this but Dr. Blanchet wanted to know what ailments fueled my search and then calmly explained enough fundamentals to ease my worry. I was so impressed with his manners! He’s a fantastic doctor, truly. I will bring my entire family to him. Cornerstone in Romeo is a fantastic, clean office with a kind and helpful staff. You will not be disappointed trusting this family practice, and specifically Dr. Blanchet. There should be more doctors like him! Listens very well, kind and nonjudgmental. Great bedside manner. Works hard to get to know his individual patient and doesn’t rush them, he’ll give you all the time you need to discuss and question. Very nice man.

Staff is incredibly rude with no sense of urgency regarding your care as a patient. Take their sweet time getting back to you regarding appointments and prescription refills, especially. Docs are very judgmental and snobbish. First saw T. Blanchet 1/8/18 for some antibiotics, after 10 years with my former PCP at THIS office who retired Dec 2017. Prior to being transferred to Dr. Blanchet, I was informed and reassured by my doctor of 10+ years AT THIS VERY PRACTICE that, Dr. Blanchet WAS briefed on all the patients he would be absorbing from my doctor, WITH a mutual understanding of said patients’ current profiles, healthcare regimens, medications, etc. AND that I was in good care. There would be zero issues going to Dr. Blanchet for upholding my prescription regimens. However, this was never the case. During my sick visit I felt very rushed, number one (very “hurry-up-and-WAIT atmosphere.) I didn’t feel listened to in the exam room, and felt very condescended by this doctor regarding my current prescription regimen that I’ve been on for 8 years. This couldn’t have been a more unpleasant and disheartening change for me after all these years as a patient at this practice. It was like Blanchet took one look at my profile before meeting me and already had his mind made up about what he was going to change. ***Takes into ZERO consideration as to what was working for you in a previous care plan.*** For example, he refused to re-prescribe my birth control, which, is not uncommon for a PCP to prescribe? Said to me that I “MUST be getting it from [my] OB,” since I don’t get my PAPs done here. I said I’ve been on and off of oral contraceptive since 2010 and I’ve NEVER once gotten it from my OB. He said “Well you need to get in touch with your OB to get that transferred over.” Reason being is “for simplicity of care,” which makes no sense to me, actually. Isn’t it simpler to get it from your PCP? All from one provider? I have no problem getting it from my OB but I’m stunned to have been turned down by a PCP for a NON-controlled substance, mind you, that I’ve gotten from this practice for nearly 10 years. I was blindsided by the cavalier attitude and still am. He also nixxed my dose of ADHD medication in its entirety. Refused to prescribe it to me outright, saying that “I don’t believe in it, so that’s just not going to happen,” At this point I almost busted out laughing. It’s been working for me for years! I shook his hand and thanked him for seeing me that day, got my antibiotic prescription, and walked out shaking my head. I never anticipated that I’d be shopping for a new PCP at the start of 2018. After a decade at this once awesome practice, I am undoubtedly leaving and I am saddened by this. But...! If you prefer to feel condescended and judged by a doctor whose focus is “policy-based” care rather than “patient-based” care, by all means, see Doctor Blanchet or Doctor Jennifer Carleton at St. John Cornerstone Providence in Washington Twp., MI. Staff extremely rude. When arriving for appt. ladies behind counter have to finish their conversations before helping you and make you feel like you are bothering them. Was hung up on by receptionist. Dr Blanchet very petty and arrogant and does not respond to concern of patients. Keep in mind that I was a patient for over 20 years. The only reason I saw him was because I worked in Imlay City and there were not very many doctors available in that area so I settled, big mistake! After complaining about being hung up on was dismissed from practice. He knows I am an alcoholic and he prescribed me over 300 pain pills in a little over a month. He was more proud of the fact that he had a fancy new prescribing apple watch and said he could prescribe whatever he wanted without writing a prescription. Needless to say, dont waste your time or your health with this office Staff extremely rude. Dr Blanchet prescribed my father testosterone medication years ago. One of the side effects is enlargement of the prostate. Had he checked my fathers prostate on a regular basis, he would have found the cancer. When doctors did find the cancer, they couldn’t believe that it had gotten so far and not been detected. A simple prostate exam could have caught it in time and my father would still be with us today. When they found the cancer it was so far gone not even chemo could take it out. -10

Avoid if possible. No respect for his patients time. If you have an appointment at 1:00 good luck getting in a room by 1:45 or even seeing him before 2:00. Clear your schedule.

Foremost, I am very confident in Dr. Blanchet's medical knowledge as well as his skills at assessing symptoms and conditions. Dr. Blanchet is friendly and likes kids. I can ask him anything and he listens. I've never felt rushed in his office. He works with several other doctors and medical professionals. Scheduling Dr. Blanchet or one of his associates is usually pretty quick.
