Good experience, very thorough and knowledgeable

Dr. Peterson listens carefully, is knowledgeable and is my favorite doctor.

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Peterson for over 8 years and we love him. He is very caring and understanding. He is very professional and very knowledgeable in his field. He is sweet and funny and we look forward to having him for our doctor for many years ahead. In addition, we love each and every one of his staff. Everyone there is friendly and nice. A big hands up to Dr. Peterson and his staff. We love you all!

Always professional and still retain a sense of humor along with genuine acknowledgement of patient frustrations and fears. Answered all questions easily and made the experience less stressful for me especially as I do suffer from anxiety going to the doctor's office. One too many years feeling like a guinea pig while prior doctors tried to find a diagnosis for me. It was very appreciated.

he doesn't do much, just checks on the resident doctors, then you get charged $499 for the visit.

Dr Peterson and his associate Dr were wonderful to me. They spent extra time with me trying to get me to be positive. Best visit ever.

Unfortunately I didn't see Dr. Peterson because he is wonderful. I did see his nurse Jasmine for a urinalysis and a B 12 shot. She was very professional and knowledgeable. She also followed up with me afterwards to give me my results and to see how I was feeling. Also,

Let nurse tell him how to doctor and I almost died, I wouldn't take my dog to him , office staff was BAD snappy and rude. Many better doctors and places in Citrus county.

Not only do you NOT get to see him (only his Interns), but if you are in pain and want a little advice about OTC medications (as an established patient with a history on file), the Intern sends a message to the Dr, who gets it the next day and does not immediately act upon it. I moved here from New Jersey and was fortunate enough to chose a doctor who was thorough and really listened to me. They took their time with me, explained everything and are very caring. I have been a patient of Dr Petersons for 20 years. I receive excellent care here. Highly recommended.

My entire family has been patients of Dr. Peterson for years. They have always been very accommodating when my kids have needed to be seen for a sick visit. I can not say enough about the staff and the care Dr. Peterson has given myself as well as my children. Citrus County is lucky to have him!

Dr Peterson is a caring and very jovial Physician. He takes the time to listen and check all patient concerns. His staff are very courteous and efficient. The office does follow-up calls to let you know the results of tests if they don't show up on your portal. If I could give ten stars I would.

I called for emergency apt. I was told no, she is booked and only in the office two days a week. If I would have known that I never would have signed with them. They would not fit me in. I had to go to urgent care. That is very bad practice. Would I recommend them. Never.

Worst experience I've ever had with a doctor's office. Wouldn't go back if he was the last doctor on earth.

Very disappointed in the way this office is run now. It's become a teaching practice, so you won't actually see Dr Peterson anymore. You'll see a different resident every time. They rotate out constantly. Getting an appt is difficult to begin with. Getting prescriptions refilled in a timely manner is impossible. It takes days to get a call back. The staff gives the impression that they just don't care anymore. My recommendation is find another practice and doctor.

He is my primary Doctor and has been for many years. He's been with me through many medically difficult times . He's as good as they come professionally and is an exceptionally good people person. I can always talk it out with him concerning my health situation. I'm with him by choice and have been for many years.

I've been a patient of Dr. Peterson for about 8 years. Each and every time I have a visit he has given me the correct answer and follow up if needed. He has listened to my symptoms and always taken the time to explain any options I have. I am a service connected disabled veteran so I have other choices but still choose Dr Peterson first. Big on my list is you can get an appointment in a short amount of time if needed. I trust Dr Peterson. I am a retired medivac pilot and have been around of many medical people and it easy to spot the competent ones and the not so swift ones. I like and respect Dr Peterson.

Dr. Peterson is the best! Been seeing him since 2007 and will continue to be his patient. That should tell you what a great doctor he is. Dr. Peterson is the most excellent most knowledgable most kindest caring doctor I have ever experienced. He takes time with you he likes to get to know you as a person. Has has a great personality that warms your heart as soon as you meet him. He can quickly solve your illness and treat it successfully with the accurate medication. After several years of searching, the search for a professional, personable, competent doctor has ended. The office staff will absolutely return calls, refill meds and answer questions in a very timely fashion, and that is, after all, at least 75% of your total experience. I am a new patient of Dr. Peterson. I was lucky enough to get an appointment several months ago for Feb 1st. I read most of his wonderful hundreds of all positive reviews and I am a very lucky elderly woman who will spend my last 10 years of my life expectancy with this excellent Dr. It’s very rare to find a good Dr.who is so respectful extremely intelligent handsome caring and spends time with you. I feel so special to have been able to get into see him. His staff is exceptional also. Dr. Peterson is an excellent doctor. He has been my Doctor since I moved here in 2000. I know that whatever my problem, he will make sure that I understand it and know what is required to care for it. I believe that he truly cares about his patients and this leadership influences his entire staff. I know that, if he is a little behind in keeping on schedule, and that another person is being treated with the same kindness and concern that he shows me.

I recommend Dr. Peterson. He is very professional and a great bedside manner. He is very knowledgeable and gets to the point, and has sense of Humor. GREAT DOCTOR. Dr. Peterson is a warm and caring person and the kind of doctor who will actually listen to your health concerns and then take the time to answer any questions you may have. More often than not, he is more than able to provide the help you need but if for some reason he feels you need to see a specific specialist, he will tell you.

Dr. Peterson is a good Family Medicine Doctor; I have no complaints, however he practices from a poorly managed office. I often call during office hours and get an answering service. Additionally, my medical informationis unobtainable because the office send texts messages to my landline phone which is unable to accept text messages. I have given the office my cell number many times but have now given up.

I've been a patient for many years and can't say a bad thing about Dr. Peterson. His calm and sometimes funny bed side manner put you as ease.

Since moving from NJ in 2015 we were concerned about finding a great PCP. A friend referred us to Dr. Peterson and we have not been disappointed. He is amazing! Takes time to really listen to any problems, concerns or questions you may have. Never have to wait long in waiting room to see him. The office schedules his appointments perfectly. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.

My doctor died a few years ago and I found Dr. Timothy Peterson through a friend and I have been so happy with having him as my doctor. Dr. Petersen always has the time to sit and listen to me fully and you take the right course for my problem . I have been a patient of Dr Timothy Peterson for several years and have recommended him to other people as well. I am in Real Estate in Citrus County, therefore, I see a number of people moving into our community. I hope someday Dr Peterson will be able to take more clients but I know at this time he has a full plate. There is definitely a reason for this. You can't find a more caring and understanding doctor in our area. Thank you Dr Peterson for all you do for your patients.

Arrogant. Does not listen, cutting you off when you speak. Unwilling to spend the time to understand your conditions. Argumentative. Uncaring about the whole patient. From relating several medical issues such as hemochromotosis to this doctor he scoffed at it. I explained I had was bled for one year and he snickered. Argued with me about prescribing the right medication for A-Fib. His philosophy seems to be that those over 65 are too stupid to know what they suffer from and what they need

Dr. Peterson is the epitome of the term "Personality Plus" and more than competent. His staff are wonderful and efficient. My mother is also a patient and after seeing him refuses to see any other physician.

Dr Peterson has been my doctor for a few years now. I can assure you that everyone you come in contact with from the front to the back will take great care of you. What I love the most is the staff really listen to you. You can have a real conversation without feeling like they are in a rush or that you are just a number. Dr. Peterson is a wonderful physician. He is very knowledgeable, listens, answers questions, and spends quality time with you. I trust him, and that is so important with any physician. Every time I call they cant see me. I have to wait a week or go to the Urgent care. Whats the point of the Doctor if you cant go when you are sick.

What's the point of having a doctor if you can never see them? Called the office about three weeks ago the receptionist said she would call me back to bump up my appointment. She never did. Now when I call they refuse to even give me an appointment and no other doctor who takes my insurance is not taking new patients. I need refills on my meds so I can live without nerve pain and I need three moles to be removed and they bleed constantly. Worst doctor ever and I've never even seen him because his staff won't make me an appointment at all! What's the point of having a doctor if you can never see them? Love dr. Peterson. He never rushes you through an appointment and makes you feel as though you are his only patient that day. He has always taken care of any health needs I have.

Dr. Peterson has been our Dr. for several years. All three generations of us. While there was at one time an issue getting in to see him promptly that issue has been resolved. if you want a Dr. who truly listens to you and a staff capable of returning a call promptly.. give him a call.
