Awesome Dentist office. And Teresa the lady at the check in is amazing always so sweet and helpful. I highly recommend this dentist office

Would recommend!! He seems to actually care about his patients. The staff is the same. Little kids need someone to care and not just be another patient. Very glad to have found them.

Dr. Pillion and Smith are wonderful dentists. I have taken my daughter there for 12 years. Teresa is always very helpful when checking in and out.

Callie cared for our son on two occasions so far and we will request her from here on out! She is so good with our son and is gentle, kind, and thorough with her care. Our son is small and she was so good with him. I’m not sure how she does it! She was accommodating to our sons needs and went above and beyond in all that she did. Dr. Pillion and his team were caring, kind and understanding of what my daughter needed to overcome her anxiety of filling a cavity. They were efficient and worked us into their busy schedule. I highly recommend them for any child! They will love watching a movie while they get their teeth cleaned!

Tabitha is great! My daughter is special needs and looks forward to her cleaning, she loves her and I would highly recommend Tabitha!

My 9 year old daughter was sedated (?). By sedation, I mean they are given medicine to make them sleepy while you hold them for an hour in the waiting room. Then, after your arms are about to fall off from holding them for an hour, the nurse comes out and wants them to walk back to the procedure room. My daughter said she felt pain while they were doing a crown and filling. When they were done, they called me from the waiting room. I walked through the door a few feet and she was propped in the corner on a stool crying. Not a good experience both times we have gone. They do over-book so they do not have enough rooms to put all the patients. It is back and forth for the little ones and I doubt the rooms are sterilized with all the room rush. Not returning... They will not see you again if you seek out a second opinion. If you aren’t insured by the taxpayers, you may not be able to afford thousands of dollars on baby teeth. I think they are really only interested in sucking every dollar they can out of Medicaid. They overbook like no practice I’ve ever seen. Kingsport Pediatric Dentistry is a far better choice. I strongly recommend that you do not go here unless you are willing to accept what they tell you without getting a second opinion. If you get a second opinion, they will black list your children from being seen there. Some people aren't on Tenncare and don't have piles of cash to throw at a dentist for baby teeth. These guys are so insecure with their practice that they don't allow second opinions.

Doctor Pillion was great! My son is just 5 and was scared. The doctor was patient with him and even sang a song to him when he started to cry. His nurses were nice to.

Great with my kids and a great sense of style! His whole office is great!!

He was mean to my granddaughter and she suffered will being worked on she left in tears and never wants to return. That made the 3 time she left in tears but the 3 time was the worst he told her to shut up and sit while she was being hurt i am sorry that was unprofessional and uncalled for when a child says stop they should stop. I am truely upset knowing she was treated in that manner as i sat in waiting room.

My daughter Cera loves Dr.Pillion....she has a great fear of dentist...but not Pillion she loves him....she said that he was a very nice man....when she had her dental surgry he held her hand and she remembered that...we have told all our friends about them....

I have used this dentist since my daughters started seeing a dentist. Now, as a foster parent, I am bringing my foster kids to see them. I called at 1 and they had her in at 2:30. They were amazing to work with and so good with her. So accommodating. All I can say is God bless you and your business. I truly appreciate all you did for our girls! He does not listen. I know my child and her medical history. He did not listen. He knew better and was very arrogant and condescending. 3 days later, I have a very sick child. Do not ask to have your child premedicated with antibiotic. He knows better, regardless of what their pediatrician has diagnosed.

I love this dentist office. I have taken my daughter to several dentist and I was just not satisfied with their services and the way they treated my child. I was given the name of this office from another dentist office and thought it couldn't hurt to try them, even though I live an hour away. Dr. Pillion is who we saw one our visit and he was amazing. He was very friendly and great with my daughter! He made sure to answer all questions that I had as well as explaining everything that was going on with her teeth and the different options that I had to correct the issues. We chose for her to have surgery to have a tooth capped and several small cavities filled because of her age. The office is located in the surgery center so the surgery was done in the same building as her dentist which was great. Dr. Christ is who did the surgery and he was great as well. We only had to wait about 10 minutes to be taken back for surgery. They let me stay with my daughter until she was completely asleep and made sure to have his nurse keep me updated. He came out as soon as the surgery was over and told me everything they had done and how my daughter had done as well. They have a very friendly staff and I would 100% recommend this office to everyone with young children! I love this dentist office. Absolutely LOVE Pillion & Smith Pediatric Dental Assoc. I would recommend either Dr. Todd Pillion or Dr. Jayson Smith, they are both excellent!!! Being a mother of a special needs child you want to take your child somewhere that cares and understands each child's needs. Very friendly & helpful staff, wonderful environment for kids!
