An excellent and professional orthopedic surgeon. He replaced both my knees and now I am free of the pain from severe arthritis.

Dr Sheils is an outstanding physician. He takes the time to actually listen! He has been so wonderful to myself and my mother! Always professional, courteous and caring!

The guy is a jerk.

Dr Sheils replaced my husband’s knee. I had the utmost respect for him as a doctor and man. I thought he showed a strength of character not often seen anymore. His skills as a surgeon are top notch. I was so impressed with him I made an appointment. My heel pain became so bad I couldn’t put any pressure on it. The pain was incredible even when I kept it propped up. I thought a cortisone shot would take down the inflammation. He informed me they don’t do that anymore. Advised Celebrex to a patient with ulcers. When I said I couldn’t take it he recommended Advil. I’m allergic. I told him I could take Tylenol. He shrugged his shoulders and said “No one’s ever died from heel pain”. I was stunned. His whole attitude was like I was a junky looking for a strong pain killer. I felt mocked and ridiculed. He told me to wear a boot for a month to let it heal. Informed him it wouldn’t heal. Been there done that. But I was so stunned by his attitude I let them give me a boot anyway. One that will cost me a lot of money. If it weren’t for the way he treated my husband with his knee, he’d be getting 1 star. I’m not going back. I feel bad enough. I don’t need to pay to be treated like I’m not worth his time. Dr. Sheils has repaired both of my rotator cuffs and did a great job on both. He’s very nice and is always willing to answer questions. Definitely my go to doc for all things Orthopaedic.

Dr. Sheils is the most accomadating and skilled orthopaedic surgeon in this part of the country. A down to earth no bs doctor. Had complete right knee replacement best thing I ever did the surgery was without a skip. Perfect, fixing to have the left one next month. I love him and his staff are excellent, treat you like family.Absolutely recommend Dr. Sheils

I went in to have my knee scoped for a possible meniscus repair. While he was in my knee he didn't see any meniscus damage but he continued to look around and saw my acl was messed up so he had to reconstruct it. He's an excellent doctor and surgeon. Well recommended
