Tom A Pleasants

This was a terrible experience, my mom fell at work and possibly broke both ankles and was unable to walk. She was sent to Med Express on Martin Luther King right across from St. Josephs. When I arrived the waiting room was empty and she had been there for about 25 minutes and they didn't even give her any ice while she waiting to help keep the swelling down. When they finally took her back and the techs took the X-Rays Dr. Pleasants came in and said that she would have to be on crutches because she had fractured her right ankle and that her left one was fine but ironically the left foot was hurting her even more. I informed the doctor that she had breast cancer and could not lift with her left arm and that she had breast reconstructive surgery 3 months ago and he completely ignored me and said she would need to be on crutches regardless. I then asked him and she could get her left foot wrapped and to look at the X-rays again cause she was in alot of pain. HE WAS A TERRIBLE DOC!!!!!!
