I have been a patient for the last 15 years. A level of care has decreased severely. Dr ask you what medications you need filled instead of prescribing what he feels needs to be filled. He comes into the office without your medical file. Does not listen to actually what is wrong. I've had swollen glands for a year and he has yet to look in my throat or refer me to a specialist that will look and see what is wrong. Find another doctor if you want real treatment.

The rudeness that I have experience here. This whole place needs to be shut down. Dr. Chuong has the worst attitude and so does the staff. They need to shut this place down.

Doctor Chuong was very unprofessional and extremely rude. I took my grandmother there and she was explain him her symptoms. This man had the audacity to belittle my grandmother and said very rude things to her. THIS MAN NEEDS LEAVE HIS JOB, HOW ARE YOU GOING TO BE SO UNPROFESSIONAL AS A DOCTOR ?!? I do not recommend anybody to go here.

I’ve been going to this doctor for many years now, he’s excellent and the staff is friendly! Not sure why some of the bad reviews but I’ve never had a bad experience here

My family has been going here for decades. I've never met a rude staff member, or had a bad encounter here. Sure, they're a little busy most day, but guess what! Wait times exists lol. Its never been overly excessive waits, even when I can see they are understaffed for a day they have people in and out in a fairly timely manner.

My first visit with this office. My experience was good. I think due to covid19 it was a virtual visit with Dr. but the staff was nice to me. Dr. Chuong has great bed side manners and is knowledgeable. However, the staff/students are unprofessional and don’t know what they are doing. I work for a major insurance company and will be filing a quality of care complaint. Additionally I will not refer anyone to this office. During COVID there are too many people in the office, they do not check temps before entry. Do Not Go, the office manger is also dumb and slow...

He’s a great dr. Very a tentative to your needs as a patient. His staff is so very nice and take care of their patients.

Although this doctor offered telehealth services at the beginning of this COVID-19 pandemic, they stopped doing so as cases here in Texas continued to soar beyond rates of other states. Even for something as simple as refilling a prescription over the phone, I was told I would still have to come in for an actual appointment. The staff were very insensitive when I tried to discuss my concerns and anxiety about this.

Horrible experience, the wait time is forever he will discriminate if you are not Vietnamese/Chinese. He will overcharge your insurance for a simple visit, staff is rude and any time you need a prescription refill you have to pay to come see him every time. Rip OFF I should of listened to the reviews!!!

The doctor spends very little time with his patients. Doesn’t go over results with them or answers any questions unless you schedule and pay again. Staffs at the front desk are quite rude and unprofessional with very poor service and that’s something that really needs to be addressed and worked on. The front desk are the first people patients see and talk to. So if it’s poor service there, it will only reflect and do harm to the business. No way to get in contact with the doctor personally (by phone or email) you’ll have to contact the front desk.. even then they’ll still turn you away unless you pay again. No way of communication whatsoever. My symptoms came back for the 3rd time after 2 previous check ups for the same problem. Even after taking medication that were prescribed by the doctor. As a thorough doctor, hard to listen to the patient's explanation. I trust this doctor and am grateful

Dr Chuong is very knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner. His front office people are the problems!

Go elsewhere.

My dad been going to Dr. Chuong for the past 2.5months for his coughing and shortness of breath. Every visit he was told by Tony Chuong that he was doing fine. Until on 12/29/18 he couldn’t breathe so i took my dad to the hospital and he was diagnosed with pneumonia. How can a doctor not be able to diagnose my dad correctly in 2.5 months?? Thank god i took my dad to the hospital. Now he’s doing fine and has been in the hospital for 3 days. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. As new patient we found Dr. Chuong was very knowledgeable about my 82 yr old mother's dementia/alzheimer's. Quick in his review of her body and discussed a list of things to do to catch up my mom medically. He seemed proficient, well spoken, careful in explaining to my mom after telling me. His office staff were pleasant and professional on both occasions we were there. He has a nurse practitioner (one step below doctor) to help with work load on general medical, but he still seemed very busy with several patients rotating in the lobby while there. I love dr tony he’s the best I wouldn’t go to any other doctor but tony

Come in for Annual check up, get the bill $150 for out of service lab, so ridiculous. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR OFFICE.

This is by far the absolute worst physician!!! DO NOT GO SEE HIM!!!! He is a crook spends 5 minutes with you and charges you more than the average new patient rate!!! He is not professional and is a complete waste of money. I AM FILING A FRAUD charge with CMS and with the OIG for not fulfilling the requirements of the code he billed me and my insurance company. Dr Tony Chuong is unprofessional, his staff is rude and has no medical knowledge whatsoever. DO NOT go see this physician. They not only have no medical knowledge but they also over bill you and your insurance company. Dr. Chuong spent 5 minutes with me face to face and billed me a full new patient extensive visit. He is a rip off artist and is NOT WORTH the money.

Staff refused to answer my mom's questions when she was confused. She had to ask them 3 times and they seems to have an attitude. That was the first time we were there. And the last. Would not recommend

Doctor Chuong is very nice and friendly to patient. Staff are quick and very helpful. The waiting time is about 15minutes.

I had a staph infection that I believed was a spider bite because of the signs and symptoms. I went to Dr. Chuong first and he barely looked at it before he determined it was a spider bite and said necrosis has taken place, so surgery was needed to remove the dead tissue. THEN he added the comment "don't worry, you'll still look fine in a swimsuit." I am in PAIN. The last thing I care about is any scarring! Not believing him, I went to JPS and they said it was staph and took care of me there.

My family and I have been seeing Dr Chuong for over 15 years. The waiting room is nice, the exam room are clean and in good order, and Dr Chuong takes plenty of time to explain his findings. When we call because one of the kids is running a fever he always works us in. I hope that P.A. is still there. That young lady was FANTASTIC with our 2 year old! I can't believe the person who gave 1 star for a 30 minute wait. You wait longer and pay 4 times more at Carenow.

I agree with the majority. The staff is very rude. They always seem to have an attitude or tone in their voice that's offsetting. They never smile either. The Dr is great, but he definitely needs to upgrade his staff. I won't be going here in the future.

Waited 30 minutes to get called even though I had an appointment. Doctor came in, stood by the door, and didn't examine anything before quickly prescribing me medication to rush me out of there. Staff is rude and useless to give you any guidance to your needs. I would've got better treatment at CareNow.

Dr. Chuong is a great doctor, but his staff is rude as hell. I had to cancel my appointment because I was so disgusted with their attitude.

Dr Chuong is wonderful doctor n very caring person n have great personality at all time i highly recommend to anyone who needs his care at anytime regardless of a good staff or not u there for the doctor not the staff so regardless of what people said about his office I admire his personality.
