Very rude uninformative receptionist. Rude, arrogant uncompassionate

My fiance' went in to have hernia surgery, he explained the issue and he was told he didn't know what he was talking about. The place that did the ultra sound told him there was a 1 cm tear but it was actually about 5 or 6 inches. You could stick your hand in it and he showed Dr. Tam who told him it was fine he would be the one doing the surgery and would deal with the false report at the time of surgery. Well that did not happen instead he tried to patch the 5 inch tear with a mesh patch for a 1 cm tear and made it much much worse. Then my fiance's idiot Dr. told him to have it fixed by Dr. Tam again and this time he had to go in and he had to take out a baseball size mass of scar tissue caused by the rubbing of the intestines on the first way too small patch. He also put a bigger patch over the smaller patch which is now constantly rubbing against each other causing another large mass to have formed. And the hernia is still not fixed. This is malpractice at best and assault at worst. My fiance' walks around feeling like he has been kicked in the testicles all day everyday. Dr. Tam treated my fiance' very disrespectfully and did not listen we he explained his concerns. Now my fiance's is having major back problem because of h as ve to over compensate for the botched hernia surgery by using his back more. This is all ridiculous and could have all been prevented if Dr. Tab got down off his high horse and actually listened to his patient. We are going to a different surgeon now to try and fix his mistakes. If I could have given him zero stars I would have! He saved my life when I had an emergency surgery

Dr Tam is a great doctor made me feel extremely comfortable with my surgery couldn't have asked for a better doctor

About 2 years ago I went to the hospital in an extreme amount of pain, I got an infection and my body was in septic shock. After about 10 hours the hospital diagnosed what was wrong and I was being preped for surgery. The infection had spread so quickly and severely I was given about a 20% chance to survive the surgery. Tony was my surgeon and the only reason I am here today he saved my life. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU TONY YOURE THE REASON IM HERE TODAY I LOVE YOU THANK YOU!

If I would have taken Dr. Tam's advice , I would have been dead in 6months. Went in to have a mass removed. He did no diagnostic tests and told me it was a fatty tumor. He was so wrong. It was a very rare and aggressive cancer.

I was referred to Dr. Tam and I am very happy I was. Pre-op team was amazing and comforting. He did an excellent job doing the surgery and answered all my concerns. Saw him a week later just to make sure i was doing fine. Even when I had concerns and called the office about two weeks later they scheduled an appointment for me right away that morning. I would definitely recommend Dr. Tam.

I had an umbilical hernia incarcerated and in the ER Dr Tam manipulated the hernia back in to stabilize and had me admitted. I went into OR the next morning and the procedure was done in about an hour. Post op was great. I had little pain, no nausea but some constipation that is to be expected I discharged later that evening and had a follow up with the doc a week later. All is well. Dr Tam was fantastic. He and his team did a wonderful job with me.
