Dr Serralta is my dermatologist, I have Vitiligo and other skin conditions, she is very professional and knowledgeable. Im a cyclist and protecting my skin on the long days on bike rides is important, she takes the time to explain and to listen to my questions and provides advice on how to protect the areas with vitiligo. Her staff passes my messages and they quickly call my pharmacy for medication refills. I travel from Houston for appointments.

My new primary physician gave me Dr,.Serralta’s name when I asked for a recommendation (my prior dermatologist retired). The first visit 2 years ago, if felt like cattle being pushed through the stages of the appointment with zaps/freezing provided for my age spots. Last year, I was forgotten as I was left in the room over 45 minutes and had to come into the hallway in my gown to find someone, and did not get to see the doctor, just the PA (my appointment was with the doctor-as a melanoma survivor, I want to see the doctor). Giving them a 3rd try, this year, I was supposed to have a full body exam, and Dr. Serralta came into the room for 5 minutes, examined only my head and back and then left the room. I will not return. Saw Dermatologist 1 month ago. Spent 5 minutes with me at the most. Was told that my pharmacy would receive the prescription. It was never received. I called their office twice and was told each time that they had faxed the request. I called Walmart again and still not received. The wait times are incredibly long and then once you get into the room, more long waiting and then was only seen by the Dr. for 5 mins. Total time was almost 3 hrs! I've been there a few times now and not only was I misdiagnosed TWICE, but nothing has changed. It just seems as if they care more about money than pts! I definitely DO NOT recommend this practice, nor will I ever go back!

Was seen by Dr. Serralta on Tuesday (28 Sep 2021) and was very impressed with her professionalism and her staff. She was very thorough and took the time to answer my questions. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a dermatologist.

Amazing doctor!! I had a hard time finding a good dermatologist in Arlington. Finally I found a good one. I am so glad I came to Dr. Serralta’s office. She takes the time to listen and treats the root of the problem, not just the symptoms. I see people are complaining of the wait times. This doctor is excellent- thorough exam and care!

I read many of the negative reviews before making my appointment and all I can say is this office is organized. I never waited more than 15 minutes in the lobby or in the exam room, prescriptions were called in immediately, staff and Dr. Serralta were awesome... so glad I did not take the advice of those who left negative remarks!

I have been a patient at this office for many years and have never been disappointed. Today was different. I get very large cystic acne on my face, which is very embarrassing. The doctor once told me, if I get one I could call the office and come in that same day for an injection in the cyst. I have actually done this many times and it works so well. By the end of the day the cyst is almost completely gone. I am leaving on vacation Saturday and called today (Thursday) for a next day visit to receive the injection. They stated they could not work me in and offered an appointment 7 days out. I informed them my cyst was very large, I was leaving on vacation in 2 days and by 7 days from now the cyst will be an embarrassing nightmare on my face. The procedure is very quick. I work in the dental field and we leave spots on our every day schedule for emergency type appointments, including same day cold sore and aphthous ulcer treatments to help our patients out of pain and embarrassment. Best dermatologists I've ever seen. Professional, friendly and great care. I'm pleased to say they know what their doing to help your needs. Yes there is some wait time ,but its well worth the wait for great care .

My wife had an appointment and it was really busy. However it was handled very well by the staff. Even doctor Serralta was pitching in to take patients back to the exam rooms. Quick considering how busy it was but still attentive and thorough.

I was recommended to Dr. Serralta after a spot on my lip began to cause concern. The previous dermatologist said it was nothing to worry about. ????????‍♀️ I saw Victoria and she immediately took a biopsy and said I needed to have Mohs surgery in Dallas. That surgery was 3 passes deep and required a plastic surgeon to reconstruct. Grateful beyond words that I switched to her for my skin care!! She has also connected me to Dr. Zeikus in Dallas who did Mohs and Dr. Sule’ who did my reconstruction. I’ve now got my daughter in her care! We will never see anyone else! Dr. Serralta explained her prosed treatment plan in plain English. Her diagnosis was accurate and the plan relieved a skin condition I have had for a long time. I was very impressed by her professional manner and the courtesy of her staff.

Today was my third and last visit. The doctor and PA are wonderful but the staff members are very incompetent. I would suggest spending money on hiring mature adults who know how to cater to patients and understand what patient satisfaction entails. I sat in the lobby for an hour waiting to be seen. Everyone was seen except me despite the fact I was there before those three patients who were seen before me. I asked why and the best answer I received from those two incompetent girls was I was supposed to be seen long time ago. I walked out. Here is a hint, get off your cellphones and do your job. Also, teach them the meaning of HIPPA. Your HIPPA consent is very ambiguous. I told them I wasn't going to sign it and again, I was told that my information would be shared by a third party. I told those girls that's against the law and I can sue the practice if they shared my information without my consent. I'm better off finding a new dermatologist than dealing with children. I made an appointment for 8:00 am on Saturday. This was my second visit so there was no paperwork to fill out. I was the first one to arrive and sign in I waited patiently until the waiting room was full. Then they started calling people in as usual but I was there for over an hour and the last one in the waiting room. I asked why I was not called first and got a lame excuse about doing there best to keep wait time down to an hour. Why did the last person checked in go first and the first go last? After 1:10 I walked out. When they called days later to ask why, they gave me the line of bull about how important their patients are to them. Best dermatologist

It was quick and easy.

I checked in for my appt and realized the waiting room was full and asked how long before they will see me. I was told about 30 min. I asked why I wasn’t called so I could stay at work longer and got blank stares. The young girl went into her mantra about we suggest you plan an hour and half here. Then she informed me I shouldn’t have come in on Wed bc they only have one provider. It would have been nice if they told me that when I made the appt. and what is the point of the appt if they overbook and can’t stay on schedule on Wednesday’s? Ridiculous. An hour later and still not even in the exam room. Plus I hate how you have to sit and wait 10-15 min to pay. They know how much your insurance pays beforehand! Time to find a new dr.

Staff was nice, and no wait time . What I thought was strange is hardly any paperwork. I work in the medical field and we have forms for everything, especially consent. I was treated without signing any consent forms, or given an estimate of cost. I was told at checkout my cost and was pretty shocked. I also asked for a printout for my service, and was told there's really nothing. I was given a paper without fees, and limited explanation. That seems a bit shady to me. Dr. Serralta gave us some really helpful options that have finally gotten our oldest child's eczema under control after years of itching and failed treatments. She and her staff were kind and professional.

My daughter has suffered with a few different ailments due to having sensitive skin and eczema. Dr. Serralta has always figured out the problem when our pediatrician has been unable to. We will always be grateful for her! Hands down the best dermatologist in the area.

Dr. Serralta is a wonderful doctor. Knowledgeable, takes the time to listen and explain treatment and condition thoroughly. The office runs systematically and waiting time is minimal.

I had a stitch after a back surgery that was left in and she successfully removed it. It did get rid of pain. I also have had a rash on my arm and she could not determine what was causing it. She did a very painful! biopsy taking a larger chunk than I thought she should have taken.

I did not make it to the office, only because I have called three times this morning with no luck on an answer. I am a new patient looking for a dermatologist for my mom and myself.

Dr. Serralta's office does not respect my time. They called to make sure I would show up.....but after arriving on time for my appointment and waiting well over an hour I left without seeing Dr. Serralta. No explanation or apology given for why things were so backed up.

Securing a surgical referral required 5 phone calls and 2 trips to the office over a month's period even though I was assurred after the first visit that arrangements would be promptly made.

Pleasant staff and doctor. We were seen pretty quickly. Reason for two-star review? The doctor said my son needed antibiotic creams but they never sent the prescriptions over to the pharmacy. They ordered a culture test for him and never called us back with the results. I called a week after our appointment to ask about the prescriptions and lab results, the staff that answered the phone told me the person in charge was busy at the moment and that she’ll call me back. I saw P.A. Jayce Rodriguez. He and the entire staff are wonderful! They explained everything and sent me home with tons of samples. It was the most thorough dermatology visit I’ve ever had. I’m so glad my friend recommended them!

Had my appointment yesterday with Dr. Serralta at 9:10. Was called back @9:26, total waiting room time including front desk check in was only 16 minutes. I loved that there were only 2 papers to sign and not a books worth of paperwork to fill out, no prepay required for the office visit and christian music playing on the radio [bonus points scored for those three things alone] - Once in the room the nurse asked a series health related questions and the reason for the visit, this only took a few minutes. I made the comment how dry my hands were that day and she brought back a sample bottle of moisturizing lotion for me. [bonus points scored again]. She left the room for me to undress and wait for the doctor to come in, my wait time was about 10 minutes. Dr. Serralta was awesome, listened to everything I had to say, treated several spots on my face and back and biopsied a spot under my arm. Once dressed there is a nice waiting room area so you are not standing in line to be checked out, I was called to the window after abut 5 minutes. The longest wait time was when they called the insurance to get approval for the biopsy which still wasn't long. Total time start to finish was 1 hour, 45 minutes. This was my first visit but it will not be my last, I have found a dermatologist that truly cares about her patients. I would highly recommend Dr. Serralta and her staff for any of your dermatological needs.

Dr. Serralta herself is fantastic and treated my infant son and toddler with great care and concern. She even diagnosed a rash that was thought to be eczema but wasnt for my infant. Her office staff, on the other hand, has left little to be desired. Absolutely terrible! Good luck getting someone to answer the phone or return a call. Also, good luck on having someone call your prescription to your pharmacy without calling to harass someone because they didn't.

Hard to review as I’ve been waiting 40 minutes to even get in. I really am offended when my time is not considered. I’m on time. Why do doctors not care about my time.

I really want to like Dr. Seralta's paractice. It's right across from my physician and is quite convenient. My first visit started well. Quickly brought to a room and had a pleasant nurse. The dr came in with med student, which was fine. I liked Dr. Serallta well enough. I was forgotten for 35 minutes, for one, and the scripts did not get called in. I called two days later to remind them and I was told it would happen in a few minutes, yet it did not. I called the next day, as well, nothing yet

I had my first appointment with Dr. Serralta today. I really like her bedside manner. She explained my potential condition to me in a way I could understand and gave me two options with no pressure. The staff members were kind and professional.

Dr. Serralta is amazing. She takes plenty of time with me every time I go in. I went to her after a melanoma diagnosis by my PCP. She is always patient when I ask questions and explains everything thoroughly. Her staff is kind and knowledgeable. She never makes me geeked pressured about any procedure. She gives straightforward opinions on whether I have areas of concern or if things are normal. However, if a spot bothers me, she will remove it for my peace of mind.

I absolutely LOVE her! PROFESSIONAL, KIND, TAKES MEDICARE! She has been my Dermatologist since 2005, when she was still at the JPS Clinic, in Arlington. I followed her, HAPPILY(!), to private practice. We've been through biopsies, rashes, itches and freckle-checking, medical peel and Botox (I call it "magic", start at 35 or so, it lasts longer over time... started at 36. Lucky enough to not need them again till 40! (Those results are NOT guarenteed by Dr Serralta or makers of Botox... just MY LUCK & CARE OF MY FACE, PLUS GOOD GENES AND REGULAR USE OF SUNSCREEN!) She also happens to be lovely and charming and one of my FAVE docotors, and I have MANY Drs... TAKES THE TIME TO HEAR YOU OUT & RESPONDS THOUGHTFULLY & expertly. But she CANNOT DO IT ALONE! She makes you feel like a friend, rather than a patient even when discussing serious and sensitive health issues. Her staff is very friendly, professional and attentive. I have been seeing Dr. Serralta for years. Her staff is quick, accurate, and professional. She is an excellent physician. She listens and remembers and truly cares about her patients. It is so refreshing to get in and out in a timely manner, and get such great care!

Wait time BEFORE seeing Dr. Serralta is ridiculously long. She spends minimal time when you finally get to see and speak to her. Her approach to addressing medical concerns is very conservative and comes across as though she's trying to squeeze more appointments out of you. I was better off seeing my GP for my concerns.

Dr. Serralta misdiagnosed something as eczema for over 6 months. Her PA actually did a biopsy to determine what it really was. The ointment I used for 6 months removed the coloring from my skin. Additionally, their checkout process is ridiculous - every single time I wait longer to give them money than I do to see the Dr. Also, my mail order provider sent them 2 requests to refill a mail order RX and they ignored it. I had to call them to request and they gave no explanation and no apology.

Okay with a pimple or something, but if you have a skin cancer, find another doc.

I have been very pleased with Dr. Serralta. Staff is friendly and she is very friendly and easy to talk to.

I love this dermatology office and it's staff! Especially Dr Serralta, I don't like going to see doctors or specialists because i feel like they don't care about the patient or problem but not with her! She is always so kind and welcoming, she has helped my skin and my self confidence! Not to mention she recommends what you need and not just what is commonly used. Totally would recommend this place!

Terrible experience. Doctor spends way too little time with patients and becomes annoyed when you ask for clarification. Purchasing over the counter items from the front desk is a nightmare because they ask a million questions even though I could easily purchase them from Amazon. Checking out is another horror. I have waited typically 30 minutes even though nobody is ahead of me. Refilling prescriptions is a pain because they want to see you despite having been seen a couple of months ago.

The best dermatologist.

Excellent doc, very smart, right on diagnosis and treatment. Takes time to answer your questions. Been a patient for 4 years.

As I made my appointment, I reflect back to the 1st time I met Dr. Serralta. After which I can honestly say: "She saved my life".
