In September 2021 I went to TGH with migraines and diminished eye site. I meet Dr. Guerrero when we learned I had an AVM. He was the BEST doctor. He explained everything in detail about my treatment plan. He took care of me and showed genuine care and concern for me and my husband. He is as concerned with follow up as he is with the treatment I received in the hospital. He is detail oriented, kind, compassionate, and a GREAT doctor. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Guerrero has been a Godsend! As an RN I have worked with many docs, many specialists- I work hand in hand with specialists daily. I can honestly say I have NEVER crossed paths with anyone who compares to the skill, professionalism, bedside manner as Dr. G! He meets you where you are and cares for the entire family. At 33 I almost became a widow and my children without a father The only thing that separated that from my reality was God and Dr. G. HE SAVED MY HUSBANDS LIFE. Held our hand the entire way. After he coiled his aneurysm we spent 2 months in the ICU- and though we were no longer on his case, we saw him nearly everyday. His wisdom and compassion filled the room. His presence brought peace and his words brought renewed strength. He was patient with my anxiety, calming to my fears and absolutely excelled performing such delicate skills that would ultimately allow my husband to come home to his family. Always a phone call away during follow up which is absolutely PRICELESS

Dr. Guerrero is honest, caring and extremely gifted. Everyone at Tampa General Hospital respects and speaks highly of him. Excellent neurosurgeon and very pleasant to be around. I highly recommend him!

Doctor Guerrero is by far one of the best providers I have ever seen. He is dedicated, thorough and genuinely cares about his patients. I consider it a privilege to have been seen and cared for by him. Dr. Guerrero was amazing! he listened to me and explained everything to me and my husband so we could actually understand in layman's terms. My visit was pleasant, courteous, prompt, and overall very good. I was pleased with my visit.

My wife sent to this doctor by her primary care doctor with suspicion of brain aneurysm. We went to his office in usf heath by tampa general and dr Waldo didnt even look at the MRI images we brought in disk and simply read the radiologist report and told us yes she has brain aneurysm. We asked her if there is any other test can be done and he recommended possibly surgery. After we left, we had couple more appointments and found excellent neurosurgeons who told us MRI is only 70% accurate test and they recommended us to get ct scan in brain. Then we did. We found out that that was not an aneurysm, it was a vein loop in brain and nothing to worry about. Doctor Waldo and his team Harry Loveren in USF health and tampa general hospital was very quick to make a surgery recommendation without doing proper testing and analysis the report we provided and made decision based on looking a report written by radiologist instead of looking at images himself. Tampa general , usf health likes their surgeries $$$.beware.

I am not the patient. It is my 87 year old mother who suffered a major stroke last June 28,2020 while vacationing here in FLORIDA. Dr Waldo Guerrero explained to us over the phone the procedure he will do to my mom. To me, he is God sent, saved my mother’s life! My mother is recovering very well, though she has aphasia.
