His entire staff is timely, accurate & responsive. Dr. Figlesthaler and Johana Torres PA-C who I have primarily met with over the past 3 years covering my cancer are: Top Shelf medical folks. They are also constantly educated and current on cutting edge technology treatments on Urology !!

Dr.Figlesthaler is a first class Urologist. I have seen him about five times and he was always on time, very efficient explained everything. Once I was prescribed an expensive medication and it didn't work up to his expectation and he wanted to increase the strength but knew it was really expensive and he had samples transferred from another office for me to try. He is very personable and knowledgeable.

As a result of the biopsy performed by Dr. Figlesthaler he informed me of my cancer, describing it as mid-range, feels like we caught it in time, and very treatable. Referred to Oncologist Dr. Kerwin where the process is moving quickly towards radiation. The staff which I encountered which felt like everyone was just great, from reception, nurses, PA, and Dr. Figlesthaler. I always felt I was in good hands and appreciate their professionalism.

I am by nature a skeptic as I have had my share of experiencing a measurable degree of incompetence when dealing with physicians and their staff. To the contrary, I have been very impressed and pleased with Dr. Figlesthaler. Very good diagnostician. He is very professional and thorough in his testing process to determine root of urological related problems including his evaluation. The service was horrible, patients hardly social distanced and overall HORRIBLE experience.

This man is not fit to care for human beings. I was a potential patient who had fear of surgery and he accused me IN WRITING OF NOT BEING MENTALLY COMPETENT. He had zero people skills.

Dr. Figlesthaler is a world renown Urology Doctor. The best. He saved my husbands life. It is no wonder people come from all over the world to see him. The staff is very efficient and super friendly. His office is super clean.

I consulted with Dr. Figlesthaler due to my long-standing urinary symptoms. I was experiencing frequent bathroom visits weak flow and getting up several times at night to use the bathroom despite taking medication. Dr. Figlesthaler examined me and did some special tests to identify the exact problem. He then sat down with me and my wife to review everything and answered all of our questions. He explained that I had an enlarged prostate with an extra lobe that was blocking my bladder for years and that this was also causing my bladder to be overactive. He explained all of the options. He performed the plasma button on me 3 months ago and I am now doing great. My flow is excellent. I am sleeping through the night and my frequent bathroom visits have ended. I highly recommend Dr. Figlesthaler as a caring and very skilled physician.

Dr. Fig is a truly caring person. He cares about the patient, not just the chart or billing situation. In fact, when in his care, you’ll actually believe that no other patient exists, as he always gives you his full undivided attention and care. He is the “go-to” physician in our family.

He performed a Plasma Button procedure on me less than 2 years back. It resulted in better urine flow, but dramatically increased frequency of urination that he had no interest or time to discuss with me. This is a harried physician and do not allocate time for patient consultation. Will be dealing with a different Urologist in the future.

Dr. Figlesthaler and his staff are the best in Naples! He is very knowledgeable and takes the time needed to explain what is best for you. He is a great surgeon. He performed prostate surgery for me at North Collier Hospital. I highly recommend him.

Saw Dr. Figlesthaler today (12/16/2020). He was recommended by a family member in Naples Fl. I found him very easy to talk to and very thorough. He prescribed several tests at my earlier visit and took the time to review those test with me. He answered all of my questions. Dr. Figlesthaler's nurse were also very professional and easy to talk to. If you are having a urinary issue this is the office to go to!!

Late. Disorganised. Disinterested staff. Condition persists but I will never go back.

I am very pleased with my visits and procedure done by Dr. Figlesthaler. I went to him for bladder leakage anytime I laughed or sneezed, etc. I was so afraid to go out anywhere. Then he did a Vaginal Sling and it was the best thing I could have ever had done. No more leakage and I can live a normal life, I am so very pleased with my experience and he truly cares about his patients.

I had bladder issues for years that interfered with my quality of life. Other physicians brushed off my concerns. After a friend referred me to Dr. Figlesthaler I knew I was in good hands. He took the time to sit with me to listen to my issues and promptly came up with a treatment plan. I now have my life back thanks to Dr. Figlesthaler and his exceptional staff.

I found Dr Figlesthaler very arrogant and in one instance rude. He spent very little time with me before and after a procedure with little explanation as to what he had actual done. 6 days after the procedure I landed up in the ER. I am seeing another urologist and hope that Dr Figlesthaler has not caused any permanent damage. In hindsight the 1 and a half hours I was kept waiting on my first visit after my appoint hour with no explanation or apology I should have taken as a red flag and left there and then.

Dr. Figlesthaler recently performed my laser prostate procedure , and I am delighted with his care. In my experience he is a highly competent, caring, patient doctor, who takes the time to listen to his patients, explains their options, and guides them in choosing the best course of treatment. Dr. Figlesthaler continues to provide excellent patient care after surgery. His staff is very helpful and brings after-hours questions or complaints to the Doctor’s attention, providing a prompt and helpful reply. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend Dr. Figlesthaler to my friends and family members.

Dr. Figlesthaler and his staff are great. My husband called his office on a Friday afternoon. He saw me right away . Took his time and helped me through my issue. I was on vacation in Naples and needed a urologist. I called and was seen that day. My insurance would not cover anything out of state. Dr. Figlesthaler and his staff were so attentive to me. They listened to my issues and treated me like a life, long patient. Dr Figlesthaler was very thorough, let me know to call if I had any more issues or didn’t feel better in a few days. His staff is top notch and when I checked out even gave me a discount. I had a follow up appointment and again treated very well. Dr. Figlesthaler My visit was a checkup after I had a UroLift with another doctor in another state. The doctor was very thorough and allowed me to see the cystoscopy on screen. I like to know the details of what is happening to me. I like a surgeon that tries non-invasive treatment first. I found the doctor and his PA very easy to talk very frankly about my questions. I highly recommend this doctor and his PA . I am a Florida snowbird and Dr. Figlesthaler in now my primary Urologist.

I am totally satisfied beyond my expectations with the surgery performed on me by Dr. Figlesthaler! My wife & I found him to be extremely straight forward and caring. He gave us the results better than I expected and what a relief to my quality of my life!

I was treated for prostate enlargement. A TURP was performed. For four months I had blood in my urine and there was often discomfort when urinating. Each appointment I was told that it would get better, that I would heal. In the 4th month with the condition still the same, Dr Figlesthaler told me he didn't want to see me for another 4 months. I asked several times that he verify this and he did. It was beyond my comprehension that he dismissed me without an explanation.

Dr. Figlesthaler was the second urologist I saw. What a major difference . He is extremely detailed and after numerous test recommended I have a Turk procedure using “a plasma button “ which is a newer procedure . All went well . His office is extremely professional and I highly recommend him.

I am very impressed with the profesional service I recieved with Dr. Figlesthaler and his staff. He took plenty of time with me to go over my issues and explain treatment options. The follow up care and communications has been great. He is a man that cares for his patients. I wish more Doctors had his bedside manner.

Dr. Figlesthaler's course of treatment which included vaginal sling surgery for bladder prolapse improved my quality of life 100%. The best overall experience I've ever had with a medical facility, staff and doctor. Everyone (staff) is very pleasant, helpful and kind. The waiting room, patient rooms, bathroom, hallways, etc., are the cleanest I've ever been in. I'm a 60 year old female with incontinence and I had the sling procedure done. Excellent process! I found Dr. Figlesthaler & his staff to be excellent in all respects. I had actually come to him for a second opinion. He examined me, ran an evaluative test, & explained my condition & my options. I was a bit uneasy about surgery (even minor surgery); however, he spent a great deal of time explaining everything to me in terms that I found easy to understand. I have been going to several Doctors specializing in Urology over the past 4 years. All doctors said that my enlarged prostate is normal for a man my age and that the only thing they could do is watch the PSA level. Dr. Figlesthaler is the best urologist! No doubt I strongly recommend him. He is the ultimate professional that cares for his patients. Now frequent urination is a thing of the past with very few side effects and the prostate still fully functional.

Dr. Figlesthaler was an excellent surgeon , but his reputation is tainted by his partnership in Urology Associates of Naples who poisoned my wife and have denied any responsibility in the damage that was caused!

At Dr. Figlesthalers office brought someone in for procedure and follow to get Results of tests. When we showed up ( 15 mins before appt.) were told he was running on Time. 1 1/2 hours later still sitting waiting. Asked again at 5 pm and Told one person ahead of him, so far 2 people have gone in and not him. He had to come to my house because so much pain and couldn't drive to their office. If not for the results wouldn't wait any longer and walk so discussted. Wouldn't even be here except Physician called him after post and wanted redemption So he gave him another chance, and he gave him the benefit but back too what started. Should have just seen the other Urologist instead, my ex-father in- law was a Urologist And never treated patients like this. He scheduled appropriately and never had his nurse/ Receptionist book patients appropriately. Dr. Figlesthaler is an amazing surgeon. I know this because I worked for him for about 5 years and during that time he operated on my father in law for prostate cancer and treated my brother in law and my husband for kidney stones. Both of my parents are physicians in Connecticut my father is a general surgeon so I’ve asked for his advice on many medical concerns. He agreed that Dr. F is one of the best in his field. He’s confident, smart and very caring. He was one of the best employers I ever worked for and treated us like family which is rare. Dr. Figlesthaler and his staff get 5 stars on this rating scale; but they really deserve 8! Dr. Figlesthaler and his staff are top-notch. The office exudes positive vibrations and every staff member I had contact with was supportive. Dr. Figlesthaler has outstanding bedside manners and provided information before each procedure, answered my questions afterwards, and simply gave 110% of himself. If you have to be treated for this part of your anatomy, this is THE office for you!

Dr. Figlesthaler is the best specialist I have ever been treated by. Yes, he is very busy...this is because there is a shortage of really good urologists in SW Florida and he will not turn anyone away. When you see him, he is never rushed but takes the correct amount of time to examine and counsel. I couldn't be happier with Dr. Figlesthaler.

Dr. Figlesthaler gave me my life back. I was diagnosed with acute kidney failure and hospitalized 5 weeks before the procedure. I had an outpatient procedure at Physicians Regional with Dr. Figlesthaler and it's now day 2 and all is great! Dr. Figlesthaler is very direct and to the point, which I appreciate. While in the hospital the first time and though the procedure he was very genuine in his bedside manner and made me feel very confident in what was happening. Getting rid of the Foley is wonderful. A couple of weeks of healing and I'll be good as new. I highly recommend he and his practice team. I will warn you, waiting can be a problem. He is so busy that it does get a bit backed up. Perhaps he knows urology and surgery techniques, but it's not worth the 1-1/2 to 3 hour wait in his lobby or examination room for his 5 minute check-up. This is the third time I've had to wait forever... each time has gotten longer, so this is the norm, not the exception. Does Dr Figlesthaler and his staff really think because I am a retired older gentleman that my time is not important? Please stop overbooking, Cha-ching. Medicare will process his bill quicker than you have to wait to see him.

Everytime I go to see Dr. Figlesthaler I get to see him EVERYTIME! He is very professional, and caring. The staff is very attentive and prompt!

Dr. Figelstahler removed my husband's Prostate in 2013. My husband underwent the DaVici Protectamy. We were pleased with the results. He was very knowledgeable about the procedure and after surgery told me my husband's Prostate popped out like a walnut and the margins were clear. All in all we were very happy with our choice in Dr. Fig and would recommend him again.
