Dr. William Walter Haynes

I am unable to recommend Dr. Haynes since he is retiring. But he and his staff have been excellent healthcare providers to me for many years. I will miss all of them.

Routine visit but the best run doctor's office of any that I go to and definitely in Walterboro. The staff is helpful and gives you the attention your situation requires. They work with you on appointments and call you back when you have results from tests, etc. I recommend them to anyone looking for a great doctor's office.

As always a great experience with Dr Haynes and his staff. I was seen quickly, given what I need , and treated very courteous. Micki is excellent at getting questions answered when needed, and fixing any little problem that might arise. The entire staff is always on top of things and treat very professionally. Highly recommend Dr Haynes for your family medical needs.

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Haynes for many years now. He is extremely caring and spends the time needed to take care of our needs, concerns and most importantly our health. His staff is extra friendly and treat us like family. I must also note that I have never waited over five minutes to be seen. This is extremely important to me in order that I can return to work. Because they see patients so readily, I have never been stuck in a packed waiting room with people who are sick or spreading illness. Dr. Haynes and his staff are always professional, timely, and caring when I take my teenager for visits. I leave there feeling confident my child has received exceptional care with proper medical attention. All the health care personnel in the office assist us with refills, pharmacies, and insurance issues without a long wait. It’s reassuring and calming to see the same friendly faces year after year.

Almost always no wait time. Office never packed with people. Most I have ever waited is 10 minutes. Great doctor and staff. Your needs will be met here. Guaranteed!

This office staff strives to make the time from phone call for appointment to seeing the physician seamless. You are greeted quickly and all information is gathered and given to the physician in a timely manner, so that you are able to accurately discuss the reason for your visit.

Dr. Haynes and his staff are the best in town, always friendly and welcoming. They are all skilled and thorough at their jobs, and treat you like you matter, not just another appointment. The wait time is never more than 5 to 10 minutes and still they make time to listen to your concerns and address them.

Dr. Haynes is there for his patients. He is not hesitant to say "Let's get you to a specialist" when he needs a second opinion to correctly diagnosis your condition. He staff is friendly, helpful and very professional. The main thing is I trust him.

In all my years as a patient of chronic back pain, I have never seen a practice more sensitive to my needs. From the phone into my appointment the administrative staff is caring, understanding and propt. My nurses are just as caring. Dr Haynes is always attentive and listens to my concerns and answers any questions I might have. He is knowledgeable and his bedside manner is to be admired. His treatment has always been spot on. I am truly grateful for such a practice.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Haynes since we moved to Walterboro from Charleston 10 years ago. He has a wonderful staff that is like family and always so pleasant and helpful. We were concerned when we moved here that we would not be able to find a doctor that was concerned and knowledgable; well, we have found this and so much more. Dr. Haynes is totally patient centered. He always you feel at ease and comfortable and takes the takes the time necessary to meet your individual needs. There is always a relaxed personal touch. You are never treated as if you are on an assembly line. He really cares!

It seems many physicians today are too "busy" to take the time to get to know you. It's more about technology then their own knowledge of medicine. Dr. Haynes talks to you as a professional but also as a person. Many of his patients are loyal to him and trust his opinion as a doctor. The office atmosphere is comfortable and his staff is great.

I am 71 years old and have been a patient of Dr. Haynes for about 15 years. In every case, from joint and muscle pain associated with aging to injuries and illness, Dr. Haynes has provided the correct diagnoses and treatment. He and his staff have always been courteous, attentive listeners, prompt providers, diligent in both referrals and follow-up communication and — very important to me — good humored. I recommend Walterboro Family Medicine to anyone looking for a primary care provider.

Dr. Haynes does not keep his patients in the waiting room for more than 10 minutes, 15 tops. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
