Went for a physical Did not see the doctor. Saw the PA and being a man over 40 I expected the physical to be very thorough. It was not. I did not feel comfortable about my physical. Once I left and made an appointment to see someone else. I asked the staff member how many times a person comes back after first visit. I was told it was not often especially people of color. The front office staff was great , unfortunately I didn’t have any comfort level with the PA or the person taking my information

Dr. Kang has been my physician for over 15 years. He is nothing less than a medical genius. His bedside manner is aware winning. He's successfully helped my mother through a few ordeals, as well. I wish he could doctor the world❤️

I got a bad experience from receptionists at this site. They refused my legitimate request to issue a superbill with unknown reasons. I requested it to get reimbursed by my out-of-network insurance provider but they simply declined issuing the bill, blaming on software they used and their internal policy. Surprisingly, they also argued my medical records including superbills belong to them. I could not believe what I heard. Clearly speaking, getting a superbill is a patient's right and all kinds of medical records belong to patients, not health care providers. Patients are eligible for requesting a superbill regardless of any reason and all health care providers must comply with the request. The receptionist's response was actually illegal. After seeing several doctors for years for general symptoms, I came to Dr. Kang he diagnosed me with SIBO and he later referred me to a Rheumatologist. From there I was diagnosed with Rhuematoid Arthritis and began to knock one issue out at a time that my immune system had caused. I recently had a genetic test done and everything I was diagnosed with Im genetically predisposed to. When i changed insurance, i specifically chose an insurance that would cover him! Great doctor and office! Always answer the phone right away, always call back within half a day, extremely efficient. Best South Korean doctor in Georgia. Was referred to him by my aunt Been going to him for about 6 years now. I have never been to a better doctor. He really takes time to listen to what is wrong with you and even refers you to a specialist if you asked. His office is always busy but they still manage to see me even if I just walk-in I usually wait only 15 minutes just to see him and this is as a walk-in;) I get all my labs done with him for 6 years now and he mails the results to my address. I get my testosterone therapy from him and he always prescribed the right dosage and enough to last 6 months. Plus he really tries to save you money on your medicine/prescriptions and also he charges me only $60 a visit. He also gives me free needles sometimes without even asking. He is a doctor that really cares about the patient and your health as a priority. Best Doctor, PCP in the metro Atlanta area, not just best Korean doctor but best overall, I say that because his staff are mostly all bilingual but for sure the nurses and Dr. Kang are fluent in both. He genuinely cares for the well being of his patients, an example I’ve had to reach out to him on a holiday when he was closed left a message and got a call back later that day. The practice has grown significantly since I started going but the practice has adapted by attaining more staff, nurses, nurse practitioner etc. I am also writing this now after 5 plus years of me being a patient as well as my family longer then that because they have done a great job adapting to Covid-19 to make sure if you don’t feel comfortable going out they’ll take all precautions and I know many people have been laid off recently if you want to see a doctor who isn’t going to charge you hundreds of dollars out of pocket he is affordable. They DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE PATIENT, please avoid here and save your money. Possibly fractured my right hand, on the same day visit, they ended up sent me to Gwinnett Medical Center to perform an X-Ray. It had been almost 2 weeks, this primary care did not even bother to give me a phone call in regards the x ray and my hand situation. I had to call back and ask what is going on, their respond was oh yeah we never get the results and didn’t bother to do any type of follow up. I have been coughing for about a month. I walked in to see a nurse practitioner yesterday since Dr Kang was out. She was attentive to my problem and questions. I took the medicine and feel the difference already today.

Wonderful Family Doctor call you ASAP when your health need immediate attention. Wonderful staff. Almost all our family goes to visit this Doctor opens every other sunday which is wondeful.

Don't get a 5pm appt - all the Doctor wanted to do was be done with his day and rush me out of his office. I requested bloodwork and he said I should see a hematologist. He did not address my eating disorder, or possible next steps, rather in response to me requesting things he said 'I could do that, but this is not something I see every day and you should really talk to a hematologist'. I don't have health insurance so that was $80 wasted. I learned more on Google. Personally I want a refund.

Dr Kang and his staff always treat me with the best care, work to get me in in short notice, and always take the time to listen carefully when you speak. Dr Kang has been my primary care physician for several years and I am 100 % perfectly satisfied with his great care.

Dr. Kang is the best. He has been there for my family since my daughter was five and is now grown. He listens, he spends time with his patients and he is always available. He is fabulous.

If I could give this place 0 zero stars I would. Left the hospital after waiting 3 hours without being seen. Called this place receptionist tells me they take walk ins. When I get there they tell me they are going to lunch and can't see my son. Horrible service!

I would also give 0 stars. He charges $20 just to get a copy of your physical records when it should be FREE. Nowhere else charges you for this, and this is just one example of how he tries to suck money out of you. SUPER nice as primary care physician. They make you feel comfortable. I would highly recommend as your PCP.

I was first referred to Dr Kang by my coworker when I worked at another company in his office park. That was in 2012. It's 2016 as I write this and I love this doctor so much that even though I now live in the Charlotte NC area, I seriously drove all six hours to Atlanta just to see him today. I can assure you that not only was it less than half the cost (even factoring in gas & travel) of what I would have paid for a visit with even the cheapest practice near me, but I feel confident I received better care too. I'm uninsured (long story) so this is kind of an issue for someone like me. Dr Kang and his staff have been terrific in the ways they have tried to make sure I had what I needed. I would like to also add that his NP Amelia was very thorough & super nice as well. It had been a year and a half since I had last seen him but Dr Kang remembered me and called me by name when he saw them walk me back. He was so kind that he even hugged me as I left. He's the only Doctor I have ever had who actually called me himself to go over my blood work results. It honestly surprised the hell out of me the first time I answered and it was him on the line! I'm like the rest of you, used to doctors who have terrible bedside manner and who are looking to "build the ticket" and "upsell" because their focus is solely on $$$ instead of healing. Dr Kang is not that kind of Doctor. Dr Kang is a healer. Dr Kang is clearly motivated by a deep sense of compassion, he's flexible, open minded and genuinely kind. He will actually listen even if you have a complex case like mine that defies the typical profile and would cause most docs to throw their hands up & walk away. But when you won the genetic lottery on a lot of crappy medical luck, and you are feeling super frustrated, as I was today, it is so incredibly reassuring when your doctor reminds you in his quiet subtle way, that he hasn't given up on you. That is alone a powerfully healing force- simple encouragement. So yes, go see this Dr. Enjoy the Korean tv channel playing in the waiting room alongside Korean vogue magazines. The chairs are comfy and the office itself is very well managed. I personally hope Dr Kang lives to be 300 and practices until his 295th birthday. Dr. Kang was friendly and the staff was extremely fast and efficient. I, however, do not recommend him for physicals. For the physical, he listened to one heart sound, barely placed his stethoscope over my lungs, and did not do any percussion/palpations over my stomach (even though I have some abdominal issues). He did not seem thorough or interested in doing a comprehensive physical... It seemed as if he was just checking his checklist of the mere act of a physical exam. Very Disappointed.

Dr Kang listens to your concerns and addresses all your issue. Makes time for all his patience. Very caring and will have whatever tests run to treat his patiences correctly. I highly recommend Dr Kang to anyone needing exceptional medical services.

Dr. Kang's seemed to be a competent doctor in his care. However, I believe he took his authority and knowledge of my health too far in sharing my information with a defendant's lawyer. He divulged my personal medical information voluntarily and without my permission. If he felt I was a true threat to anyone the proper action would have been to alert the authorities, however, he instead chose to take sides in a civil case.
