Absolutely the best ! Extremely professional, thorough and kind. No doubt he is the best MD around, I have been a patient for 30+ years and would not go anywhere else.

Dr Abram Berens... when you are looking for a family physician.. look no more. We have been his patients for many, many years. If it wasn't for him, my husband would not be alive today. For that, I will be forever grateful!

Dr. Berens has been our family doctor for over 15 years and I would highly recommend him. Staff is great and he is the most thorough doctor I have ever gone to including the Mayo Clinic. If I ever moved out of the area I would consider telemedicine with in person visits every 6 months vs. having to find another doctor!

Dr Berens has been our primary for years. He takes time with you and doesn't rush you out of the office to get to his next patient. Because of his persistence, he made sure my husband got a new cardiologist. That saved his life! We are forever grateful to him..! His staff..Denine and Donna are the best of the best. Have recommended him to others looking for a new family physician. Looking for a new doctor who cares and will make sure you stay healthy? Dr Berens is your answer!!

Dr. Berens is a very caring physician, great diagnostician, and actually draws your blood himself. You do not have to go to a lab and wait hours to have your blood drawn. When your results come back, you are notified immediately with the results.

Dr. Berens is the closest you'll get to concierge medicine without paying the high prices. He is warm, engaging, and most significantly, knowledgeable and personally interested in your health and welfare. I recommend him without reservation.

I’m not a fan of doctors. Until I met Dr. Berens. Dr. Berens is very thorough. He is the first south Florida doctors that actually cares about his patients. He is by far my favorite. In the event you need blood drawn, he does it on sight. Everything is very convenient especially if you have a busy work schedule.

Made an appointment with Dr. Berens’ for a physical. When I made the appointment the staff was so pleasant when I called. During the appointment they were professional and very kind. When I met with Dr. Berens he had a GREAT!!!! Bedside manner. Made me feel at ease and took time make me feel comfortable.

I'm am truly disgusted and disappointed with this particular dermatologist, I went to this man on July 5th, and the reason I waited so long to write this review is because I wanted to see how much he would charge me for doing absolutely NOTHING for my daughter!! ($450 for being new patient and $600 for being seen) my portion after insurance $239.50) He kept us in his office forever, asking about our family history, then he looked at my daughters face, touched it a bit, and said that it looked fine to him, he then talked about the tiny amount of acne on her forehead; I told him that's not why we were there, what about the unusual yellow scabbing on her chin and cheeks? I asked is it infected, is it contagious? Does she need antibiotics? NO was his answer to all of my questions, he then looked at me and told me that he could help me get rid of the crates on my face, but it wouldn't be cheap, mind you, this urgent visit was for my daughter. In the end he told us to just put some Aquaphor on it and it should be fine, then gave us some pamphlets on his opinions about physicians assistance etc. 2 days later I decided to take my daughter to her pediatrician because it had gotten worse, and with one look, the doctor told me that my child had impetigo, which was very contagious and and overwhelming itchy! And has left major scars on her face! She had to take antibiotics, plus an antibiotic cream for her face. I know that this review is long, but there was no way I could not tell my story, which hurts me every time I see my childs face. I feel that this man was more interested in selling me products, and costly procedures, then helping me with the noticeable issues happening with my daughters face. I was extremely disappointed. I originally went because his add specified that he was a dermatologist. In order to schedule an appointment with him (As a dermatologist,) I was told I had to have him become by PCP as well. I did so. The 1st visit I noticed he sat on his computer while I sat in the chair and watched him type for about 45 minutes directing me to other doctors, ordering labs, the works! On one hand , I thought to myself, "boy hes very thorough!" On the other hand I said to myself, "I am here for my skin for dermatology yet he has not even looked, nor examined my skin!" And, charged me as a specialist to boot. The next few times I went to him I asked him to possibly prescribe me medications that I thought would help my skin. Not ever anything did he suggest. Every doctor he referred me to, when I went they never received the referral, and they always had to call the office because their job was not done and I had to wait for their reply. Again, another hour waiting in an office. I cannot describe what I went through. It's really a shame the lack of attention that he displays towards his patients. I believe he is more dedicated to his chair and laptop than his profession, whatever his profession may be. I then decided to go to another PCP Who actually gave me a complete physical and referred me to another dermatologist Who within one session I can't tell you how she has made my life so very happy. What a great experience!! For the first time in a long time one to one attention and detail to my medical office visit. Well explained and I felt very comfortable.

We came for a dermatology appointment, and ended up deciding to completely switch over to Dr. Berens as our primary doctor. NEVER have we had a doctor who puts as much effort and attention to their patients. Very caring and knowledgeable. Dr. Berens loves what he does.

Dr. Berens is a wonderful Doctor. I have seen him twice this year and he genuinely cares about his patients. I was moved to leave a review, because it’s absolutely necessary to give him a shot. He has terrific people up front and a beautiful office. I will certainly seek him out in the future. 5 stars

I’ve been a patient of Dr Berens for 28 years. The care I receive has been nothing short of excellent. In fact I would go so far as to say he really is my “personal“ physician.

I just turned 50 and have been seeing him on and off since 20yrs old. Yes, hes spends time with u and is incredibly thorough. 30yrs!! Yes, he spends an hour with u. If u think that is a bad thing, then go somewhere else. In that hour he answers every poss question u may have in detail. He is not interested in treating u like a cow and prodding as many patients in and out as possible. I have never been in his waiting room with another patient. Never wait, and Ive been called to say he is running late. The nicest 2 gals working for him. 2 yrs go by, they know who I am when I call. "hey long time, no see." My skin cancer surgery? I had other docs marvel at the stitches. i think he is expensive, but worth it. Tells u the vitamins u need, and actually looks at u when speaking and lets u have a say, hears u, and prints out info to take home and read. Professional, casual, explains everything. I have not had a primary doctor for a few years, and was glad to find Dr. Berens. He showed genuine interest in my background and health, and even drew the blood himself for my blood tests. I look forward to going next week to find out the results, as my first impression was that Dr. Berens shows great care to his patients.

Dr. Berens showed great care about my health and background, and even drew my blood for blood tests himself, as opposed to other doctors who frequently use nurses and rarely spend but 2 minutes with a patient. But, Dr. Berens would not finish until all my questions were answered and making sure that was the case.

Dr. Berens's medical practice is absolutely amazing!!! Excellent service. Helpful and friendly staff. Nice, modern and clean office. Dr. Berens is a highly knowledgeable, experienced and passionate professional.

Dr. Berens is extremely thorough. He takes his time to make sure he has all my records from my other doctors, so he can get a complete picture of my overall health. Everything he does is with the patient in mind.

HORRIBLE!!!! Such a horrible person. I am completely unsatisfied with his service. Do not waste time and money on this individual. I spent more time and money than I needed to. Very rude and mean. Consult with another doctor. Such an unpleasant experience. First and LAST time I will ever be going to a consultation with such a horrible person. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!

Dr. Berens is an extremely thorough doctor. He saved my life because he communicates with my specialists so he has a complete picture of my health. He spends time with me to explain anything that will improve my well being. Overall, anyone who is looking for a family doctor would be lucky to have a doctor like our Dr. Berens….!

I went to Dr. Berens as a healthy 25 year-old who hadn't had a physical in a number of years and had no health complaints. Dr. Berens asked me questions about my health in an exam room without ever closing the door or even touching me. He made inappropriate political comments that made me feel uncomfortable. I was then billed what another doctor referred to as the most expensive physical he'd ever heard of and ran what was termed "absurdly extensive" labs given my age and health.

Today was the first time I came to this facility. I was extremely impressed with the Dr. Berens. He made you feel like you were his priority and that "you" mattered. He was thorough, meticulous, knowledgeable, and had a great bed side manner. I was also impressed with the office staff. They were compassionate and patient.

So I went in for a checkup on a skin issue i was having. He did not prescribe me anything or take any normal tests, nor did he officially diagnose my issue, just told me lets wait till after your wedding and we may have to do a biopsy. I get a bill for $150.00 for this. I tried to contact him to discuss the reason for the bill but he refuses to speak with his patients outside of a scheduled doctors visit. This guy is a doctor who doesnt care about his patients. Only about his money!

one of the worst dermatologist in town, I had a horrible experience with them, no one call to confirm the appt. and if you missed your appt. you will pay a 70$$. I don't recommend any one to go there

Very unprofessional MD. Be prepare to wait 3 to 4hrs on your fist appointment just to see him, plus the consult time, and minimum 1 hour wait for follow ups ( at least that was the most I was able to wait until I complained and had to leave without see him). This is a normal practice for him, as I was told by his staff. Doctor should adjust appointments time accordingly as he seems to over spend time with every patiente or hire efficient staff that can assist him with that. If you don't have a Job or just willing to spend more than a half of your day to have a consult then he is the doctor for you. WORST service ever!!! Very unprofessional MD. Dr. Berens is an excellent doctor and his professionalism is impeccable. This is also reflected in his staff. He is one of the most thorough doctor's you will encounter as he details everything ensuring that you are of utmost priority. On every visit, he spends a lot of time listening to your needs and addressing each and every one. He follows up and does not miss a beat. I am extremely happy with this doctor.
