Mr. Akwasi Afriyie Achampong

dr Achampong is very patient Dr. makes you relax , listens to all your complian, then ask questions, tells you jokes, treats you. Since 1998, he has been my doctor, I have no reason to go else where.. I always recommend my friends to him. Elmont Medical Center.

I have been coming to this dr for 15 plus years never had an issue because my mother likes him. I don't know who these people are who are running the office but the service is sickening my mom is a stroke pt and ran out of med. I called for refill they say she has to come in office ,got an appointment for 5 days later ask for a 7days dose until she see the NP they have working there it was never done my mom was without meds for 5days and when I got to the office they all had stink attitude this office is gone to the dogs this is my last visit . When in for Covid vax on 10/6/21, staff was very friendly. Didn’t wait to long to be seen, was in & out in 20 mins. Would highly recommend as primary doctor.

When I visited I waited over an hour to see the doctor, and still never saw her. Just saw the nurse who barely spoke to me. My time with the nurse was over in about five minutes, and I still haven’t figured out what is causing my ailments. Clearly this doctor overbooks patients and doesn’t make the time for the ones who show up on time.

Worse doctor period my grandmother been a patient there over 10 years whenever u call u really don’t get any help This Doctor been out the country now for the last 6 months every time my family call for assistance with my grandmother it’s a dead end I have been calling calling calling to get no help either to be told the doctor is not here he will be back Nex month every week it’s the same thing. My experience at this doctors office was superb! Dr. Akwasi Achampong and his ENTIRE staff were welcoming, thorough, clean, and professional. Today was my first visit and I instantly made the decision to make this doctor my permanent PCP. I felt like family and did not feel rushed during my appointment. I watched how the other patients were being treated in the lobby and the care is consistent across the board. The staff really made me feel comfortable as I was extremely nervous about going to the doctor especially during this pandemic. My experience at this doctors office was superb! I waited almost an hour and a half and then the doctor comes in and barely acknowledged my presence. He was only focused on the computer and when I asked a question, he mumbled the answer without even looking at me. Very rude and unprofessional. The only good thing about my experience was the rest of the staff. They are very sweet.

Dr. Achampong is the most down to earth and caring Doctor I know. He's my Doctor and I have referred my family and friends to him as well.

I've been seeing Dr Achampong for a few yrs now. He's a WONDERFUL Dr. It's such a pleasure to be one of his patients. He's very caring, and takes his time with you to explains anything you may not be clear about...He also knows his stuff! Lol. Wouldn't trade him in for the world! Bonus: His office staff are just as pleasant!

Dr Achampong is a knowledgeable, caring and supportive doctor. He has a very busy practice, so sometimes the waiting time is extended, but once you get into the examination room he spends time with you and make sure he addressees all your complaint. The office is small but clean. Would recommend him.

His wait time is about an hour not 16-30 minutes. I told him about my on going back problems only for him not to say anything or send me to recommended doctors until I demanded it.

He is great doctor that is very caring and respectful. His bedside manners are also great. I'm very please to have him as my doctor in the hospital. Couldn't ask for a better doctor.

The office is in a house and they don't have enough room for the patients to sit down. 15 Patients 8/11/2018 and 7 chairs. The patients have little recourse when the staff has no respect to call you back. I called the dr. twice late at night about the lack of response from his team and he did not call me back either. We asked them to copy her chart and have it ready on wed 8/8/2018 went to pick it up Sat 8/11/2018 it was not ready and they did not give three years of medical records- requested?

Best Doctor hands down !!!! He's pretty kool and he definitely spends a lot of time with his patients . The staff is amazing ????! I recommend anybody to go see Dr A. ???? you won't be disappointed.

Dr. Achampong is a very knowledgeable doctor with a great bedside manner. He cares about his patients.
