Dr. Pinkley is the best pediatrician I have had for both my boys. One of my sons had to be hospitalized at Vanderbilt for 4 days and I hadn’t had the chance to contact him yet. As soon as he was notified of my son being at Vanderbilt, he came up immediately and checked on his status, looked at the chart, and just made sure they were doing everything they needed to be doing. I’ve never experienced a doctor that cared so much. The boys are completely comfortable with him and anytime they have been sick, his medical advice always got us through it. My son is almost 5 and we have seen Dr. Pinkley since he was 9 months old after our original pediatrician left the practice. We have followed him from one clinic to another and have started to consider him family. He never rushes you out of the room, takes time to listen to your concerns completely, eases you worries, gives difficult diagnoses delicately and reassuringly, and above all knows his medicine. His nurses are sweet amd understanding. They never make you feel like you wasted their time. He gives quality referrals when needed and always touches base afterwards regarding test results. Dr. Pinkley is amazing. He spends time with his patients and is focused on getting to the root cause of the issues. We can't recommend him enough. My kids love him and never complain about going to the doctor.
