Being in your care during my surgery and after was great. You showed that you took great care of me, although I don't have full use of my arm and it hurts daily.

Dr Claytor was at all times professional and was so kind. My arm is doing great and I have the good Lord and Dr Claytor to thank for that. I was in excruciating pain before he did surgery and now I am not. “He fixed my arm.”

Dr. Claytor always takes time with me and exhibits a caring attitude. He has a great “bedside manner” and is a great doc!!

Dr. Claytor has always been upfront with me and cared for my progress. A year ago he performed a major shoulder surgery on my shoulder and it's in great shape now. The staff has also been helpful and most courteous.

Dr. Claytor is an excellent surgeon. His care and concern during my recent back surgery were top notch. He will be my choice for any orthopoedic issues in the future.

I’m so grateful for Dr. Claytor. He has performed TKR on both my knees and every day I am thankful to be mobile and pain free! He is a perfectionist, my scars are hardly visible and he pushed me to bend and strengthen my legs through his words and encouraging in my PT….at UOC. My therapists are next level too! I will forever thank Dr Claytor for taking away the pain and giving me back my life!

Dr Claytor and his staff took excellent care of me. He immediately put me at ease and assured me all was going to be okay. I never doubted him. I highly recommend Dr Claytor.

Dr. Claytor spent plenty of time with me explaining options, working through less invasive (more conservative) treatments, before finally setting me on a course of treatment that left me completely pain free! I hope to never have to, but if a situation ever arises that requires orthopedic treatment, I will be back to see Dr. Claytor.

I've been a patient of Dr. Claytor's for over 13 years. He's an excellent surgeon with the ability to explain things carefully and answer all questions I may have. He's very kind and understanding and let's me make the decisions about which treatment plan I want to pursue. I highly recommend him. Sometimes the office (especially at Northport DCH) is crazy busy, but they seem to have a good system for getting people in and out and Dr. Claytor is rarely late for my appointments. He also always takes as much time as I need to listen to my issues and offer options for treatment.

My experience with Dr. Claytor was nothing but great. I did my research on him before seeing him and he was highly recommended by other doctors in town. He spent the time to explain everything that was going in a way that was easily understood. Gave me all the options, both surgical and non surgical. We ended up doing a surgery and it went very well. Almost no scarring and no complications. He was right there after the procedure for anything I needed.

I was referred to Dr Claytor by DCH after an automobile accident and a broken shoulder. On the positive side, Dr Claytor has a nice bedside manner and explains his findings well. ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE, he is not understanding or sympathetic with your complaints. Further, if you call the office with a serious concern or question or a request to talk to the doctor you will NOT RECEIVE A CALL BACK OR FOLLOW UP, EVEN IF YOU HAVE REINJURED YOUR AFFECTED/BROKEN ARM ETC.

Dr.Claytor did both my meniscus tear repairs on both knees in 2019. Very pleased.

can't say much right now, but trust me. USE A DIFFERENT DOCTOR.

Amazing surgeon and wonderful staff

Waited over a month. Dr didn’t listen when I explained my issues. Told me to do PT at college rec? I am having to drive 3 hrs home to see someone else who I know listens. Lack of concern and attention. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

I had a on the job injury that broken my right hip and herniated L1L2L3L5S1 disc in my back . Dr claytor frist put hardware in my hip and 6 months later my leg was 1 inch to short and the hardware came apart he never did anything to my back up today I'm still mess up. But he had to go back in my hip and he did a complete hip replacement that still not working I can't pick my leg up no high then a inch off the ground but he says he can't find anything wrong with it and as far as my back he says it not work relayed and I never had a back problem in my life . And now it's a struggle everyday to just get up and keep going . I'm not saying it all him cause I think workman comp had rhere hand in it to . But he could have talked up and said this is not going to work . I have life time medical on this hip but it want be dr Claytor doing it . He may be a good dr if it's not workman comp . But if you reading this please do some research and get a second dr to look at it just to make sure .

I met Dr. Claytor recently after being referred to him by my diabetic doctor for a knee replacement. We waited about 1 1/2 hours from our appointment time but after seeing how much time he spent with us answering ALL our questions plus explaining exactly how the knee replacement is done, I understood why the wait time. It is impossible to find a doctor that is so willing to spend as much time as you need to take care of all your fears and anxieties. Most doctors want to rush in & spend maybe 5 minutes at most with you and then they are out the door and gone. Dr. Claytor sits there, looks you in the eye and answers every question you may have. He deserves 5 GOLD stars for his patience and compassion. He is wonderful!!!! I have no hesitation about my upcoming surgery now.

I have not been pleased with the level of service provided to my husband by Dr. Claytor. The Doctor seems to be more focused on my husband returning to work than restoring him to be able to perform task at the level he was able prior to being injured. Waited two hours to be seen and he spent maybe 10 minutes with me. He expressed that he didn't really understand why I was there and without looking at any of my X-rays claimed that I do not have scoliosis. I already had been told by two previous doctors that I do and it was confirmed again this week via a cat scan. He did not examine me and was adamant that there is no scoliosis and there is nothing he can help me with. I will be seeing a different orthopedic surgeon this upcoming week.
