Brian K. Crellin

Dr Crellin is a good surgeon but the practice billing department is a nightmare. They will demand money up front and every time you see them, and then not send to insurance, leaving you with bills insurance should have paid while refusing to refund your overpayment. Go somewhere else.

This doctor treats you like a person in need and will help you. If you get to see him you are very lucky.

Dr Crellin is an excellent doctor. After viewing my X-rays, he was able to clearly state my options and shared his prior experience with other patients. He has a great sense of humor and a warm bedside manner. Would highly recommend him.

I have been seeing Dr Crellin for a few years. I absolutely love him and the staff here. They are fast, friendly, he always listens and answers my questions. Highly Recommended.

My son ruptured his ACL a month ago and unfortunately Brian Crellin D.O. was the surgeon available the day we took him to Beacon orthopedics. My son had his surgery a few days ago and he was sent home with a brace and not very good written instructions. My son told me that after the surgery he did not see the surgeon and he did not get any instructions from him and that the nurse was the one that checked on him and that she was very kind and was excusing the surgeon for not been there. We couldn’t speak with the surgeon since he was not available . The next day i called to get information about how to care for the brace and wound and the surgeon called me and was extremely upset and rude and told me to read the instructions which i read three times and they did not say anything about the care for the brace and the wound. He screamed at me and was extremely condescending. He also blamed his workers that took the phone calls and said that they were not smart people. The phone attendants for this practice are the nicest and most polite people ever. Brian Crellin DO did not write orders for therapy and it was a big struggle to start the therapy. He told us to keep the wound cover for 15 days, my son was complaining of severe pain and burning on the wound. When we took him to start therapy we got a very competent Physical therapist that also told us that he had never seen a wound wrapped like that and tried to get a hold of the surgeon to ask if we could remove the dressing and the surgeon again was not available. Since I am a dermatologist i found very strange to keep a wound covered for this long and my son was complaining of stabbing pain, so i removed the dressings 4 days after surgery and the dressings were covered with a green yellow thick exudate, i had to clean the wound and start antibiotics. I was scared to call this DO. again to get verbally abused so i just had to take control. I am a patient at Beacon Orthopedics as well and i have a great MD that i can talk to and has done great work for me. This is a great, solid group. However Brian Crellin D.O. misrepresents this group of amazing physicians. Honestly i hope no one has to experience this. Fortunately my son had me and my husband, we are both MDs and we knew there was something wrong. I don’t wish this on anybody. Dr Crellin is great! He's easy-going, to the point, gives good information,and made me feel very comfortable.

I think he is a good doctor. Answers your questions where you understand him and explains why. He does not rush you out of your appointment. I would recommend him to all my family and friends.

Dr. Crellin is the most professional, awesome knee Dr, or Dr. period I've ever encountered! His receptionist & aides (Mike:-)) even the x-ray tech was incredible, kind, knowledgeable, eased my anxiety and answered ALL my questions! I'm terrified of needles, I just shut down with fear, he felt like he flicked me and it was over! No pain nothing, he was amazing. Dr. Crellin is my go to Dr for any of my orthopedic surgeries. He is very professional, explains everything, answers all questions and has an amazing bedside manner. I highly recommend him for any of your orthopedic needs.

I can't say enough about Dr. Crellin, he's very thorough, so that I knew what was expected both before & after surgery. He listened to questions & concerns, & has a splendid sense of humor. The staff, assistant(s) and office people also patient and kind , overall a great experience, considering that I broke my leg.

Dr. Crellin did an outstanding job treating me for extreme elbow pain.

About 5 months out and everything has been relatively smooth so far. post-op, rehab, etc. went better than I anticipated.

My meeting with R. Corelli was excellent. He developed a plan for me to follow and also summarized potential next steps if the plan is not working. I am completely satisfied with his thorough approach.

I had a great experience pre, during, and post surgery. The best testimony to Dr. Crellin’s work came from the Physical Therapist. He said my great progress was due to hard work in therapy and “a great repair”…you need both.

Dr. Crellin takes the time to explain what is going on with your body. He explains the options you have and what the result will be with the option chosen. He tells you honestly what he feels the best option is. He is very down to earth and instantly makes you feel comfortable. When you're already scared because something is wrong or you wouldn't be in his office, he makes the effort to make you feel comfortable, answers all questions and actually spends time with his patients.

I had pain in the upper part of my right arm for a long time, and pain in my knee. I visited the doctor. He gave me an injection in the second appointment in the arm, the pain disappeared on the 2nd day. Then on the next appointment, the doctor gave me an injection in my leg. it's hard to believe, but the pain disappeared the same day. For 3 months I have not had pain. Many thanks to the doctor. Dr. Crellin fixed my ACL tear. After my initial visit, I was very pleased he was going to be the doctor taking care of me. He was great at explaining everything, made me feel at ease, and has a fun personality. I was scheduled to have my surgery, then the Covid-19 pandemic happened and it had to be cancelled. Once surgeries resumed, he personally called me to check on me. The team he works with has also been very pleasant! I am very pleased with him!

Dr. Crellin did my knee surgery. In October of 2018 he did shoulder surgery to repair it after a auto accident. He is the best by far ! he goes above and beyond in his care for his patients.

Dr Crellin was professional and amiable throughout my diagnosis and choices of ACL tear options, provided surgical and post-op treatment with good humor, and encouraged me to continue with physical therapy when, as a introvert, I found PT onerous. Dr.Crellin was recommended by a friend and I couldn't be happier with the care I receive. His staff is wonderful, and Dr. Crellin is incredibly knowledgeable with one of the best bed side manners I have ever had in a physician. He is a far cry from many of the other orthopedic doctors I have had in the past.

Dr Crellin did my shoulder surgery. He is an excellent surgeon. He spent time with me explaining the surgery, is warm and compassionate. He seems to understand what you're feeling as you are approaching surgery. I would highly recommend him and should I need any orthopedic services in the future will call him first.

When I saw Dr. Crellin I was impressed with his complete attention to what I was saying. He gave me all the time I needed and I never felt he was ready to rush out to the next patience. We talked about alternative treatments and made the choice together which was right for me. For me, if I feel a doctor won't listen to my input, that doctor is fired and I find another. Dr. Crellin is definitely a keeper.
