Dr. Brian Daniel Thornton

This doctor has the most irrational and unprofessional attitude towards patients who prefer to switch doctors when he assigns his PA to treat a patient. They have a policy to not allow patients to get another doctor who uses this location. There are several other doctors who use this facility. The reason for not letting a patient switch is because he knows the patient history. That is the most intellectually deficient excuse and irrational because they obviously don’t understand what a medical record is for and why wouldn’t he want another doctor to see the history? That is a huge red flag that they don’t allow another doctor to take over care. It’s bad enough that the PA tried to switch medication to one with bad psychological side effects. I strongly advise against selecting this location and find another place that is professional and doesn’t try to hide their bad quality of care. Unprofessional, mean doctor. Good thing we discovered these red flags. The doctor has an un-American attitude for medical practice. In America, patients are allowed to switch doctors when the doctor shows lack of skill or a person just doesn’t like the quality of care. Unprofessional, mean, irrational.

Dr. Thornton is the gold standard in patient care. He relates to my 94 year old dad with compassion and is extremely thorough and responsive. His office staff is great too. Thank you Dr. Thirnton!

An amazing doctor with real concern for his patients.

I recently moved to this area, and feel so lucky that I found Dr. Thornton for my dialysis care. One of the few doctors I have had that actually listens to me and shows concern for every aspect of my well-being. A really, really nice man.
