Every visit I have with Dr. Lock reinforces my belief that he is excellent and that I am very fortunate to have him as my pulmonologist. Doctors don't come any better than he.

I found the doctor condescending and curt when attempting to ask questions before storming off and telling me to follow up with him "once I stop breathing" Seemed like a nice guy at first visit - follow-up left me lost and confused on next steps. Frustrating as peidmont is more focused on the business and no longer on patient care.

I cannot say enough good things about this man and his practice...he has literally saved my life on more than one occasion! He has a wonderful "bedside manner", actually taking the time to listen to you and answer any questions you may have. I highly recommend him and his associates to anyone experiencing breathing difficulties.

The doctor referring me told me what a great diagnostician he was. I was so looking forward to this expertise as I had had my condition for a year at that time and needed that expertise. However, I was very disappointed. He made assumptions that since I had been a smoker for 20 years, I had COPD without looking further. This was despite four prior PFTs - all showing no COPD. Due to his smoker prejudice, it took 4 more hospitalizations, 1-1/4 more years and a new pulmonologist for diagnosis.
