Dr. Bruce Donald Akright

I’ve been a patient of Dr Akright about 25 years. He’s done several procedures on me and has helped me with quite a few problems. Dr. Akright is extremely intelligent and explains things very well. I always have confidence when another issue comes up. I recommend Dr. Akright and will hopefully see him tomorrow! Dr. Akright assisted in the birth of my first daughter, who is now 36 years old! I’m eternally grateful for all he has done.

He has been my doctor for 2 decades. He is an amazing, trustworthy doctor. One of the good ones.

Dr Akright is amazing! He’s very kind, informative, and takes the time to listen to you. I had a concern that needed an ultrasound to find the answer and instead of scheduling another appt, he took me right into the ultrasound room and he explained everything as he went on. 10/10 would recommend!!

Dr. Akright and the staff are very professional and courteous. I may be overlooking sometyhing, but I am trying to schedule an appointment on the website and I seem to b e overlooking where to find the icon.

Dr. Akright has been my ob/gyn doctor since 2001. He delivered my daughter in 2002. He is always very thorough and informative during each and every visit. I will remain a patient of his until he retires one day.

Dr Akright is caring, awesome doctor, takes time to listen, thinks outside the box and considered my concerns for various issues and is great at communicating and explaining all the options. I switched to him due to needing a hysterectomy. He's one of the best and used robotic method for partial hysterectomy. A nurse friend that assisted him in surgery highly recommended him. I am going through menopause he specializes in that stage of women's needs. His recommendations were helpful. Highly recommend him.

Dr. Akright is the BEST gyno out there. I struggled with BV, yeast, back to BV, back to yeast, pain with sex, weird symptoms, and even negative BV and yeast tests so no one knew what to do. Akright really knows his stuff and figured out I have DIV and vaginismus, and he answered all my questions. 6 months of physical therapy and medication later and I am so grateful that I'm healthy and know how to listen to my body. Don't go to sadler or do or anyone else, akright is the best! Unfortunately that means a long wait to get an appt, but it's worth it.

I saw Dr. alright for the first time today after reading good reviews. I can only add how much I liked him! Very thorough, detailed, professional, gentle and compassionate. I never felt rushed. Office personnel is very nice as well. I will definitely be going to him from now on.

I highly recommend Dr. Bruce Akright. He is the best OBGYN doctor I’ve ever seen and I’m 36 years old. I’m so grateful I was referred to him. Dr Akright is very knowledgeable. He listened to me and addressed all of my concerns and started me on a great medication regimen for PCOS. My old OBGYN would not do an ultrasound to check for PCOS. But Dr Akright was more than happy to. While he examined me, he explained everything to me and showed me what was wrong. He didn’t rush me and really took his time with me. The office and nurses are so nice and organized. I was seen in less than 15 minute. He really made me feel so much better, I just want to get healthy and this doctor was more than willing to take the time to help me. Dr Bruce Akright- I can’t thank you enough. He was really supportive and never downplayed what I was going through. After having multiple other OBGYN treat my issues as if they were non-existent, it was nice to finally find one who listened. Had a hysterectomy on April 9th. It was fast, I was home same day, and during my first follow up I was told I'm healing up well. First off, he's very attentive. Does not ignore or make you feel as if you are crazy/a hypocondriac. Will do tests, try medications, surgeries, and you get the care you need! I had a laparoscopy last year in September due to pain after seeing other specialists like a Gastroenterologist. Found a benign polyp with necrosis. After this, I continued to have abnormal uterine shedding. Had a hysterectomy on April 9th. So far, all is well finally!

Dr akright was very professional the day of my appointment. He made me feel very comfortable I will most definitely continue attending the clinic he is at.

Dr. Akright always made me feel comfortable. His staff is friendly, professional and polite. He has been my GYN for 5 years. He did my hysterectomy as well as my coworker's 2 years ago. We are both happier, more productive workers now! ; )

There is a reason why Dr. Akright has five stars. He is absolutely wonderful. I have been going to him for many years and now am having my first child and wishing he would be my doctor for this experience as well. He is patient and kind. He is a five star doctor. I work in the healthcare industry and his bedside manner is far better than most you come by.

He is the perfect balance between professionalism and genuine care! He is the epitome of what a doctor should be! I have seen him for fertility treatments and he has been positive and reassuring the entire time. He answers any question that I may have. I highly recommend Dr Akright!
