If you look at all the people who post about how wonderful Dr. Garza is they are all thin, I went to him to get permany birth control where they insert springs in you tubes and the tubes scar up around them not letting anything through. Anyway long story short he kept making comments about how because I’m so big everything in my body was squished together that even with the speculum in there he could barely get a finger in. I left so defeated because this was postpartum 8 weeks and it was a high risk pregnancy so I was on a strict diet so I had actually lost 30 pounds while I was pregnant. I was working so hard to keep the weight off before all those comments he made I thought I was doing really well. As he left after the procedure her said I’m serious u need to lose a lot of weight, it’s very unattractive. It’s been 7 years and his words still hurt so much.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Garza since I moved to San Antonio (2015). He has since been my doctor through a procedure and 2 pregnancies. I cannot say enough good things about him as a provider. He has truly been my advocate and has gone out of his way to make sure things go smoothly for me. I highly recommend Dr Garza for anyone looking for an Ob-GYN. Dr. Garza is intelligent but does not address or listen to any concerns. I have been going to the practice since 2011 and will be looking for a new doctor. Insensitive, made inappropriate comments, such as "U don't have much of a uterus" and " "Ur cervix is all the way in there" and "by some miracle if u lose weight or start working out" The procedure itself felt like he put a screw driver in me and twisted. He got frusterated that my body doesn't respond well to contraceptive. When hearing how they make me feel he stated " u just have anxiety about taking birth control, its all in ur head". With no evidence to support his claim cosidering I have never expressed negative thoughts, just stated the side effects I was feeling from them. I felt verbally attacked and shamed by the end of our visit. I Had a lot of hope going here with Dr. Garza but after my experience I shall be looking for another doctor. Dr. Garza is absolutely wonderful!! He’s very knowledgeable, upfront and thorough which is absolutely appreciated! I’ve been going to him for the past few years and really think that he is an all-around good dude!!

I have been with Dr.Garza few yrs he sweet understanding always does what is best for his patients. I have had a very successful experience with Dr.Garza his staff is wondering his surgery team is wonderful! I recommend Dr.Garza for everyone! A++

Dr. Garza delivered my son in Dec 2015. Wonderful doctor and honestly I can't recommend anyone else to people looking for an OB. He listened to my concerns, answered my questions and genuinely cared. He is truly a professional and made my labor and delivery experience what I wanted and not what I feared.

I have been going to Dr. Garza for three years, and the experience has always been wonderful. As scary as it can be to get an annual exam for young girls, my first time was when I was 22 ( my mother never took me), it wasn't like that at Northeast OBGYN. I was so nervous and almost in tears, but Dr. Garza and his staff made me feel so comfortable, even laughed a bit. VERY quick and painless. I recommend this guy to everyone.
