Dr. Carlos A. Higuera Rueda

Presented Dr. a challenge with severe pain locations, RSD and right knee replacement. I explained all my concern's the best I could. ( Director and Head of Dept.) Accepted and was told I'm at the right place. All good up till the day of surgery, told by scheduling be at the hospital by 7:30 AM. Surgery didn't happen until after 3:00 PM, (what happened Doc tee time was wrong?) First visit and up to the 3 month visit, I voiced my concern for pain in the same areas prior to surgery and now higher after surgery. Got a bad attitude and stated couldn't due anything more, sent to pain management. After all this, terminated from job because I didn't return in the allowed time off and can't perform duties.

Dr. Higuera is excellent. I was living in pain for about 5 years. He quickly diagnosed my issue for a hip replacement and within 3 weeks, I had the surgery and was up and walking around without pain. He is professional and caring. I highly recommend Dr. Higuera!!!!

I have a very complicated hip surgery history and traveled from Oklahoma to Cleveland clinic, based on the video Dr. Higuera made. I felt that he addressed the whole person, not just my hip. He attempted the most conservative procedures, but what was most appropriate for my specific situation. He is highly talented and very knowledgeable in orthopedic conditions. I would highly recommend him as a qualified surgeon.

In summary, my exposure and satisfaction has been excellent and beyond my expectation. I like him! His genuine involvement in my physical and mental concerns put me completely at ease and convinced me he is the exact physician I can trust. I embraced the commitment and process of rapid home recovery and Dr Higuera revealed, instructed, and tracked my progress to success.

I just had my second knee done by Dr. Higuera . He is smart and I feel very confident with him. He takes the time to explain the process with me .

Dr. Carlos is one of the best if not the best doctor who has operated on this patient 4 times, replacing two knees and two hips. Excellent care

Dr. Higuera is an exception to many doctors today that overlook the patient communications and education aspect. He took considerable time with me during my initial appointment for a knee replacement and spent time to answer all the questions I had and walk through the process in detail. Dr. Higuera provided flexibility for scheduling the surgery that worked well with my schedule. His use of technology, for those that are so inclined, enhances the patient experience for us techies.
