Dr. Blake took excellent, timely, top notch care of my family member. She and her team communicated clearly and efficiently with us. We highly recommend this excellent surgeon!

I first met Dr. Cassandra Blake in August 2017 as I was diagnosed with invasive breast cancer. Dr. Blake immediately led with a team of doctors my care to give me the best chance of survival. Dr. Blake always cares as she takes her time with me so I clearly understand my treatment plan. Dr. Blake’s knowledge and clinical skillset was absolutely incredible as she saved my life on September 12, 2017 with a surgery that was over 7 hours. Now, 5 years later, Dr. Blake is always there for me even for a just a question or follow up appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Blake as she is honest, skilled, and the BEST!!

Scheduling the Appointment went well, I would say there were no complaints in that area. They asked me to please fax/email reports and images three days prior to my appointment. My my primary had already faxed them a week and a half prior to my appt and Dr. Blake's office asked for my primary to fax them again a few days before my appointment. The day of my appointment I was asked for my reports for the third time and the CD with my images. Seemed like they had not even taken a look at them before I arrived. Payed for my appointment, answered all the questions the nurse had for my health history, all the questions the PA had as to why I was there. I had to repeatedly tell them what my abnormal breast MRI report stated and why I was referred to them. She did the breast exam and then proceeded to tell me that she does not take my kind of case and I would need to see someone else when it was clearly for Breast Specialist/Oncologist. They failed to return my CD in the same condition or my reports the same day of my appt. I had to go back for them. Dr.Blake and her team has been very kind and sweet. I recently had a baby and got mastitis which then grew an abscess. My baby was 3 weeks old, between postpartum and this was very scary. I originally went to westview (don’t ever go) and they messed me up. The care Dr.Blake has given me and her team has been very pleasant. Mentally this has been exhausting but her confidence In her work and my healing has helped me get through this. Thank you Dr.Blake ,J Frideo Moe and team. Stage 4 Breast ca. Post chemo had double mastectomy and many positive lymphodes removed by dr blake . No problems at all and her pre surgical visit was informative and complete. Answered all my many questions. During covid my husband couldn t be with me but she face timed at visit . Gave me confidence going into surgery. Post surgery she explained how I did to my daughters . Went to see Dr Blake and she is very professional and excellent. She explained to me and my husband my condition and what needs to be done in a very simple easy to understand and detail by detail information. She is very caring and attentive to your needs. My sister used Dr. Blake. I have never seen such an uncaring doctor. You would think a dr who specializes in oncology to be compassionate and caring but she is very cold hearted and uncaring and uncompassionate about her patients. She diagnosed my sister with breast cancer and had such a chip on her shoulder and such an attitude during that conversation. And, she gave my sister the wrong size of the tumor. Then when she had her MRI, Dr. Blake never contacted her to give her the results. My sister got a phone call from her primary care office telling her the date her surgery was scheduled. She was never even contacted to let her know what the treatment plan would be or what the surgery would be. I was so happy she decided to use another doctor. Dr. Blake is in the wrong profession and it's so sad because she is dealing with patients that really need a kind and caring dr.

Dr Blake has a direct yet warm approach as she provides clear, precise and detailed information regarding your diagnosis and treatment plan. I feel fortunate to have her as a vital member of my medical team. Mara English 2/18/2021

Ordered a test for my friend set for a Tuesday. After calling and calling my friend got a response over a week later. She never spoke to Dr Blake. What happened to the caring human bring that Dr Blake once was. Wouldn't recommend her to my worst enemy. God knows does she she rush around a surgery the same way. So disappointed and ashamed for her. Once a great doctor now hardly a human being. Maybe Dr Blake should consider a different career before she kills someone. What's happened to Dr Blake. I was disappointed with the after care to say the least! I must say this experience was not what I "knew" of Cleveland Clinic during my previous surgeries with Dr. Z. On the day of the surgery the doctor never visited me and my 'party' before or after the surgery. I never had a post-op visit until 2 weeks later and that was almost cancelled the day before until I loudly protested my dissatisfaction with the way I was being treated ! I must say, the lack of respect I received was totally unacceptable!

Excellent surgeon. Listens, discusses, offers opinions, facilitates a care plan for you. Had bilteral mastectomies. Dr. Blake uses a pain relief technique that I had never heard of. I had an external pump that bathed the surgical area in Meds automatically. I never had to take pain Meds orally. Recovery was unremarkable. I highly recommend Dr. Blake. I am a retired physician.

Dr. Blake told me I would need 17 lymph nodes removed without telling me the consequences. I was surprised to find out that I would have a lifetime of discomfort . I cannot lift anything using this arm and hot weather increases swelling and pressure in my chest. I live in South Florida. Lots of hot weather. The lymphatic system has been compromised. I have many incisions in my chest after a double mastectomy. Only 1 incision was necessary for two of my friends with the same operation.

I can't say enough about Dr Blake and CLeveland Clinic. I have had both my hips done there with Dr Suarez and its like having consierge service! Dr Blakes nurse Emily deserves 5 stars on her own. She called my back with answers to my questions EVERYTIME and in the same day. Dr Blake was kind, caring, knowledgeable, spent time, they take care of everything for you.

Dr Blake is not good. She is a doctor that won't give you guidance in your diagnostic and will just stay in the safe side for her. Awful.

Dr. Blake is engaging, knowledgeable and professional. She took her time and "listened". A rarity. She is young and up on all new treatments for breast cancer. She also took as long as was needed to explain the scans to my son. I am having a procedure done by Dr. Blake and a reconstruction surgeon. They will be working side by side at Cleveland Clinic in Weston, Florida. She is superior to the two other oncologists I have worked with in Connecticut.
